My name is Kristie Domenique Beukes, I am currently in my third year of studies. My subject specialization is Arts and Culture and Visual Art. I matriculated in 2011 at Krugersdorp High School, with one distinction in visual art. My reason for becoming an Art educator is because it is more than just a calling. It is more than an inherited career in my family because both of my parents are educators on the West Rand. My real reason for becoming an educator is to be a role model and someone learners can depend on for the skills they need to develop.
