2. Observe the bearings temp and vibration levels.
3. Check the main motor winding temp.
4. Listen for any excessive or abnormal noise.
5. Observe the fan speed.

1. Abrasive action on fan impeller is most severe at blade tips
and at the periphery at centre or side plates.
2. Blade liners and wear strips to protect the blades.
3. The liners should be always be replaced completely as soon
as the erosion on tem is too severe.
4. It is dangerous to weld alloy steel unless the correct
procedure is known and followed.
18. F - Check periodically the oil levels for
bearing gear at non-drive end of fan shaft
