  1. It’s not a cinch to figure out your ‘why’, but you can make it work. I like to start with this statement and fill in the blank. You can put that in your proposal if you want, but you’ll need to connect it to audience, too. You have to make a gut emotional connection based on the ‘why’.That’s the next step. Hopefully you’ve done this before – it’s kinda what marketing is.
  2. I usually fill in the blank in this statement to make this work. It’s not perfect, but it can help. Here’s an example for us:
