Whoever wants to achieve excellence,
wants to move from being good to great,
must focus on continuously upgrading
knowledge, skills, and technology, etc
Three keys
that can unlock excellence:
Vision,
Values,
Character
are the three important
invisibleinvisible keys that can
unlock excellence
These invisible things
(vision, values, and character)
are different from visible things
(Knowledge, skills, and technology)
because invisible things are
unique to an executiveunique to an executive
compared to the visible things
which can be found in any one
in the same rank.
Vision, Values, and Character
determine how
abilities,
knowledge,
skills, and
technologies
are to be used to the optimum.
Vision without values and
character, values without vision
and character, and character
without vision and values
are of no use.
They may have some impact
in a life of an executive, but
they may not have profound
impact.
When these factors work alone,
excellence is sporadic, not consistent.
Personal and professional excellence
Are both sides of the same coin ~
one leads to the other.
The key to professional excellence is
self-introspection,
personal SWOT analysis,
communication skill,
vision,
evaluation of professional context,
overcoming challenges at workplace, and
curiosity.

personality, attitude and pride in work.

  • 5. The Excellent Professional exhibits an intrinsic knowledge of the difference between right and wrong, shows the courage to act upon that knowledge, and embodies the following ethical characteristics:  Respect for self, others, and the environment  Empathy  Integrity
  • 6. Whoever wants to achieve excellence, wants to move from being good to great, must focus on continuously upgrading knowledge, skills, and technology, etc
  • 7. Three keys that can unlock excellence: Vision, Values, Character are the three important invisibleinvisible keys that can unlock excellence
  • 8. These invisible things (vision, values, and character) are different from visible things (Knowledge, skills, and technology) because invisible things are unique to an executiveunique to an executive compared to the visible things which can be found in any one in the same rank.
  • 9. Vision, Values, and Character determine how abilities, knowledge, skills, and technologies are to be used to the optimum.
  • 10. Vision without values and character, values without vision and character, and character without vision and values are of no use. They may have some impact in a life of an executive, but they may not have profound impact. When these factors work alone, excellence is sporadic, not consistent.
  • 11. Personal and professional excellence Are both sides of the same coin ~ one leads to the other.
  • 12. The key to professional excellence is self-introspection, personal SWOT analysis, communication skill, vision, evaluation of professional context, overcoming challenges at workplace, and curiosity.

  • 14. WORK ETHICS  It is a set of values based on hard work and diligence.  It is a belief in the moral benefit of work and its ability to enhance character.  It includes being reliable, having initiative, maintaining social skills, honesty and accountability.

Behavior is actions resulting from your attitude, personality and environment.  Work Ethics is a combination of values, personality, attitude and pride in work.  Including but not limited to honesty, pride, purpose, feelings, vision, teamwork, character, productivity, appearance and communication.
