Paul defends the unity of the church by contrasting judgment and love. He reminds believers that they will reap what they sow and that new creation, not circumcision or lack thereof, is what matters. Paul encourages believers to gently correct others, watch themselves lest they also be tested, carry each other's burdens to fulfill Christ's law, and not boast but test their own work. He says to share with teachers and not be misled that God favors some over others. What is sown will be reaped, and if sown in the flesh decay will result but the spirit will bear eternal life. Believers should not grow weary in doing good but do it for all, especially fellow believers. New creation

then you – the ‘spiritual’ ones – should set such a person right,
in a spirit of gentleness. Watch out for yourselves:
you too may be tested. Carry each other’s burdens (βαροσ)

7. If someone is being taught the word, they should
share with the teacher all good things they have.
Don’t be misled; God won’t have people turning up
their noses at him. What you sow is what you’ll reap.
If you sow in the field of your flesh you will harvest
decay from your flesh, but if you sow in the field of
the spirit you will harvest eternal life from the spirit

8. Don’t lose your enthusiasm for behaving properly.
You’ll bring in the harvest at the proper time,
if you don’t become weary. So, then, while we
have the chance, let’s do good to everyone,
and particularly to the household of the faith.
