What Millennials Really Think About Relationships
Key Findings
Millennials are meeting the people they date
everywhere. Some of the most popular places for
Millennials to meet are bars(48%), school(47%),
groups or organizations for their hobbies(47%)
and online(33%). However the most common
place for Millennials to find a date is at
work(54%).
Millennials are very supportive of same-sex
couples’ right to marriage even if they are split on
the importance of marriage in their lives. 76%
support same-sex marriage and 69% support
interracial marriage. 93% of Millennials are also
willing to date someone who has different religious
beliefs than their own.
Millennials are split about the significance of marriage in
their lives. 53% stated that it was very important to
them while 40% said they respected it but it didn’t
define their relationship. Only 7% said that marriage was
not important to them.
