Key Findings
Religion plays a key role in the lives of our
Millennials. 81% of our Millennials identify
themselves as religious, spiritual or both. 73% said
that they at least sometimes consider their faith or
religion when making their day-to-day decisions
compared to the 14% who rarely do and 13%
who never do.
Our Millennials are actively practicing what they
believe and contributing to religious organizations.
Regardless of their beliefs, 73% of our Millennials
have given their time and 69% have given their
money to support a religious organization. When
asked how often they practice, 33% said daily and
another 15% responded at least once a week.
As our Millennials get older they tend to become less religious. 40% of our
Millennials said that they practice less than in the past compared to the
25% who practice more, however religion seems to be a family activity for
our Millennials who do practice. 41% of our Millennials always or usually
practice their religion with their family, compared to 26% who practice with
their significant other and 18% with their friends.
