WRAP UP!
JORIS:
Je heb het over een beschikbaar jaarbudget voor investeringen. Maar een deel van de dat beschikbare budget gaat bij ons al op aan jaarlijkse verplichtingen. Wat is dan nog de toegevoegde waarde van een dergelijke method?
Dat klopt; in werkelijkheid heb je maar een deel van het jaarbudget beschikbaar, de rest gaat op aan Verplichte (MANDATORY) en reeds LOPENDE projecten.
Daarom is het van cruciaal belang dat je alleen die projecten selecteert die de risico's afdoende beperken = je onder de risico-tolerantie-limiet brengen.
Prioriteer projecten op basis van risicoreductie per geïnvesteerde euro of NPV! Zie sheet 18. Het gangbare resultaat is dat je 10% tot 20% meer flexibelere besluitruimte creëert ‘en dat je veel beter onderbouwde investeringskeuzes kunt maken.
Als het Business Value Framework te uitgebreid wordt ben ik volgens mij niet meer in staat om tot een zinvolle prioritering te komen; dan creëer je toch te veel afhankelijkheden?
Dat klopt. De ervaring leert dat je niet veel meer dan z’on 9 bedrijfswaarden / bedrijsfdoelen moet hebben. En dat je per bedrijfswaarde zo’n twee tot 5 onderliggende KPI’s kunt definieren om de bijdrage per project meetbaar te maken.
