• The Way: Total Physical Response (TPR)
To prepare one book which is interesting and the level suitable for kindergarten, as teaching
method through to the content of the book. Using some materials as my teaching to teach them how to
read the book.
• Objective:
According to the object that I want to teach 3~6 years old children. The children like to imitate
what people do. This book which is called Bark George, mainly presents in the form of imitation. The
children can recognize the sounds of various animals by onomatopoeia. Therefore, I can achieve the
teaching through this book.
3. Lesson Plan
• Textbook: Bark George
• Material: Picture cards, power points.
• Procedure:
1. Warm-up activities: Singing (Teach a song and movements)
Teach children how to sing the song and actions. The song is related to the book.
2. Reading the story: By reading the book vividly, children can understand clearly what the book
talking about.
4. Lesson Plan
3. Recognizing the sounds of animals: By using the power points and picture cards that I make,
children can be easy to learn sounds of animals.
4. Playing a game (Using picture cards): Dividing into some groups and using picture cards to play a
game.
5. Review: Singing again.
