This 14-day tour highlights wildlife experiences in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Key attractions include game drives in Etosha National Park, the Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park, and Hwange National Park as well as Victoria Falls and the ruined city of Great Zimbabwe. The tour is fully guided with accommodations, meals, activities, and ground transportation included. Departures are available monthly between September 2015 and November 2015.

5. DAY 1
Maun, Botswana
Transfer from Maun International Airport to lodge on the banks of the
Thamalakane River. Late afternoon sunset cruise looking for the abundant bird
life and the occasional hippo and crocodile. Overnight at Maun Lodge or similar.

6. DAY 2
Maun - Okavango Panhandle
View the Okavango Delta by one hour private charter flight (optional, for own
account). Alternatively explore Maun with an early morning walk. After breakfast
depart Maun and travel along the panhandle of the Okavango Delta. Spend the
next 2 nights at Lawdons Lodge (or similar) alongside the Okavango River.

7. DAY 3
Okavango Panhandle, Botswana
Optional (for own account) mokoro day trip. Lunch and return transfers are
included. (NB you will not be back in time for the sundowner cruise). The rest of
the group will enjoy a day at leisure and a late afternoon sundowner cruise on
the Okavango River. Overnight at Lawdons Lodge or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
8. DAY 4
Okavango Panhandle - Caprivi, Namibia
Cross the border post between Botswana and Namibia and enter the
Mahango National Park to enjoy a game drive. Continue to Popa Falls, where we
take a short walk and then enter the Caprivi Strip. Overnight at Camp Kwando (or
similar) on the banks of the Kwando River. [Breakfast, Dinner]
9. DAY 5
Caprivi, Namibia
Enjoy an early morning game drive (in an open vehicle) including drinks and
snacks en route. Tour a traditional village. Optional early morning or sunset boat
trip on the Kwando River (for own account). Overnight at Camp Kwando (or
similar) on the banks of the Kwando River. [Breakfast, Dinner]
10. DAY 6 & 7
Chobe, Botswana
Enter Botswana and enjoy a game drive (in an open vehicle) in the Chobe
National Park and sunset cruise on the Chobe River. Encounter the largest
concentration of elephants in Africa. Spend the next 2 nights at Mowana Safari
Lodge or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
11. DAY 8 & 9
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Travel to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Guided tour of the Falls and rainforest.
Activities available (optional and for own account) include Flight of the Angels,
elephant back safari, lion walk or a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River. Spend
2 nights at A’Zambezi River Lodge or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
12. DAY 10
Hwange, Zimbabwe
Transfer to Hwange National Park, home to a wide variety of game such as
buffalo, zebra, giraffe, all the big cats, hyena, wild dog, rhino and elephants. Enjoy
a game drive in open safari vehicles or a visit to the Painted Dog Sanctuary.
Overnight at Sable Sands Lodge or similar. [Full Board]
13. DAY 11
Masvingo, Zimbabwe
Our journey continues to Masvingo, and Lake Kyle National Park, stopping en
route at Bulawayo for lunch (own account). Overnight at Lodge at the Ancient
City or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
14. DAY 12
Masvingo, Zimbabwe
Visit the ruined city of Great Zimbabwe, dating back to the Late Iron Age.
Afternoon scenic drive to Lake Kyle and its dam wall. Overnight at Lodge at the
Ancient City or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
15. DAY 13
Makhado, South Africa
Cross the border between Zimbabwe and South Africa. Overnight near Makhado
at Mashovhela Lodge or similar. [Breakfast, Dinner]
16. Depart for Johannesburg arriving at OR Tambo International Airport at around
lunch time. [Breakfast]
