Using On Page SEO

On page SEO is the sum total of
essentials needed to create conduits in
and out of your page. These make it easy
for traffic and visitors to flow into your
page.
Remember one basic fact
that many people forget –
you must optimize each
individual page or post for
SEO.
Excellent Content Is More
Than Just Good Writing
One of the best SEO
tips and tricks I can
recommend is
creating content
worthy of being read,
bookmarked and
shared. I cannot
stress enough how
important great
content is.
Think about it this way. Google is a business that depends
on delivering the best result to its customers – people
searching the web. They’ve gotten so good at it, that you
rarely have to go past the top five search results when you
do a search.
If you can
demonstrate that
your content is
quality, that it can
contribute as a
creation of value
and not something
that is simply trying
to sell, mislead or
spam, then you can
be rewarded with a
top ranking.

content and it’s
connection with
SEO
“In his best-seller, Blink,
Malcolm Gladwell outlined the
concept of ‘thin-slicing’: how
humans use limited
information to make
spontaneous decisions.
He argues the conclusions
drawn in those first few
seconds are as accurate, or
even superior to, the
conclusions drawn at the end
of carefully planned and
considered analysis.”
Though these emotions are
split-second, they do affect
how your target audience
interacts with your page.
The same emotions apply
when they are on your page
and they can’t find what
they need or can’t tell what
your page is about.
These few seconds when
an internet user find and
evaluates a page and
decides whether to leave or
stay are the very foundation
of how pages are ranked on
search engine.

Traffic
These are the
elements of on page
SEO to strive for when
creating content:
● Easy to navigate.
● Easy to understand.
● Loads fast.
● Aesthetically
pleasing.
● Looks good in any
browser or screen
size.
Crawlability.
This is the ability of the page to be
indexed by a search engine’s bot, or
program that helps index a page.
● Static URL (address of
page does not change
every time it refreshes.
● Unique content.
● URL not too long or too
short.
● Page not created
completely out of Flash or
an image map (and no alt
Target specific keywords for each
page.
Of the top SEO tips and tricks,
keyword targeting is front and center.
Keyword targeting is not just
targeting certain words, but also
strategically (and correctly) placing
them in your page. Make a checklist
for yourself and be sure to include:
1. Page title
2. URL
3. Headlines
4. Text
5. Images
6. Links
7. Metadescripti

The dire importance of being
optimized for mobile devices.
A page needs to look good in
different browsers, on different
screen and platforms. But what
may be most important is a
page’s ability to be optimized on
mobile devices.
If stats like,
“Global smartphone use will
reach 2 billion by 2015″
and
“Of the estimated 30 billion
annual mobile searches,
about 12 billion are local
searches”
don’t tell you that mobile is important,
nothing will.

creating it. You must drive traffic to your
newly created content, because traffic is
one of the factors that Google uses to

money and time you spent doing

Isn’t Google, going to
work its magic and
send you a stream of
traffic from every
query of those
targeted keywords?
Yes and no.
Creating content does not mean
you are done. It is only the
beginning. There is work to be done
promoting and driving traffic to your
site.

You don’t just want ANY traffic.
You want the right kind of
traffic.
Traffic that is coming from
legitimate sources, not link
farms or automated bots.

a web page, but which are the
most important? There is one
thing virtually all experts

of links coming into
your site is near the top

You want to create a flood of inbound
links. You want to measure and track
these inbound links by not only
quantity, but by quality.
In the past, people would create pages and
pages of links to other websites. These were
called link farms. Technically, you are getting
inbound links from other websites on other
internet connections other than your own.
Google slapped this practice HARD.
Now, not only is it
good practice to
make sure that
your inbound
links are coming
from qualified
sites related to
your target
audience, it is
also good SEO.

value. There are multiple ways to do this,
but the best is to plug your site URL into
Open Site Explorer. This tool provides
plenty of utility for no charge, but a paid

With Open Site Explorer, you
can see all inbound links, see
your top-linked pages, sort by
linking domains, see the
anchor text other sites use to
link to you, and compare your
metrics with competitors. It’s
impressive, and it’s an eye-
opener for many who do it for
the first time.
SEO tips and tricks 

can make you wealthy.
The right knowledge will trickle in targeted traffic, until it
becomes a raging river. Setting up your page to keep that
traffic interested, engaged, informed, inspired, and aided is
truly important, but never forget the other half, getting people
to your page. Raising your standards and being sure that
everything – from the blog title to the inbound links, will
greatly increase your chances of creating a community that
you can learn from and sell to. Don’t be afraid to put in the
hard work and learn along the way. Putting quality over
quantity is a feat many sellers on the internet have yet to
learn.

lead by being an

as long as you run a
