  • 3. WHEN TO USE SCRUM REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT CLEARLY DEFINED TESTING IS REQUIRED EXPERIENCED TEAM NEW PROJECTS There will be a large number of changes & adaptations during the development. A Product Increment (MVP) is required from the client to test certain features. Relies heavily on self-organizing & solving problems independently. No maintenance work needed, The team can focus on few shippable features / sprint.
  • 4. CONS PROS & Preferred for small companies especially startups with only one or two teams. Difficult to pull off at scale, especially if different teams work on the same product. Increased job satisfaction due to autonomy & freedom. Active stakeholder involvement at least in every sprint. High reliance on commitment of each Scrum member. One weak link can throw the project. Waste of effort can occur due to lack of clarity about the vision, goals, and requirements.

The Sprint Sprint Planning Daily Scrum Sprint Review Sprint Retrospective 1-4 weeks 2 hours / week of sprint 15'/daily of sprint 1 hour / week of sprint 45'/ week of sprint A product releasable increment should be delivered / sprint. Team assesses tasks from the product backlog into the sprint. Sprint Backlog and Sprint Goal are created. Increasing chances of delivering a ‘done’ usable increment. Developers showcase to stakeholders the releasable increment & get feedback on what to do next. The Scrum team discusses process and makes adaptations to improve the team’s effectiveness.
