Macbeth Imagery Essay
Crafting an essay on the theme of "Macbeth Imagery" can be both challenging and rewarding.
The difficulty lies in the complexity of Shakespeare's play "Macbeth" itself, as well as the
intricate use of imagery throughout the text. Analyzing and interpreting the various symbols and
metaphors requires a deep understanding of the play's context, characters, and overarching
themes.
One must delve into the psychological nuances of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, exploring the
imagery as a window into their minds and motivations. The play is rife with symbolism, from the
recurring motifs of blood and darkness to the portrayal of nature and the supernatural.
Unraveling the layers of meaning behind each image demands a keen literary analysis and critical
thinking skills.
Moreover, crafting a compelling essay on Macbeth's imagery involves not just understanding the
symbols in isolation but connecting them to the broader narrative and themes of the play. This
requires careful consideration of how imagery contributes to character development, plot
progression, and the overall atmosphere of the tragedy.
Balancing textual evidence, scholarly interpretations, and personal insights can be a delicate
task. It's crucial to present a coherent and well-structured argument that showcases the depth of
understanding and analysis. Additionally, avoiding common pitfalls such as superficial analysis
or oversimplification is essential for a nuanced and sophisticated essay.
In conclusion, tackling a "Macbeth Imagery Essay" is a formidable task that requires a profound
appreciation for Shakespearean literature and the ability to dissect complex symbolic elements.
However, the intellectual satisfaction derived from unraveling the layers of meaning in the
imagery makes the effort worthwhile. As with any challenging academic endeavor, seeking
assistance or guidance can be beneficial, and similar essays and much more can be explored

provide a recommendation on whether the Senate should vote for or against it. In
order to provide an informed recommendation, this paper will first present
background information on the 21st Century Flood Reform Act and explain what it
proposes. Following the background information, this paper will analyze arguments
both in support and in opposition of the 21st CenturyFlood Reform Act. To conclude,

However, these WYO insurance companies would also receive a reduction in
reimbursements. These proposed changes to the NFIP also present improvements to
flood mapping practices and addresses the issue of high risk properties, which
owners rebuild at high costs following a flood (Simpson, 2017).
According to Jeb Hensarling, Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee,
if the 21st Century Flood Reform Act became law, taxpayers would directly benefit
through the competition of private companies to provide affordable flood insurance
rates for homeowners. Republican Sean P. Duffy, the sponsor of the bill, spoke on the
House floor and reinforced Hensarling s statement. Duffy claimed that introducing
private companies would allow homeowners to select alternative flood insurance
plans that may be cheaper than any available federal plans. Additionally, Duffy stated
that private flood insurance companies would assist taxpayers in covering the costs
resulting from a flood. Duffy concluded by not only stating that the 21st Century
Flood Reform Act is a bipartisan bill but also reiterated its benefit to homeowners,
and that it would directly contribute to reducing the national debt. The bill has also
received support from the American Academy of Actuaries Casualty Practice
Council, as well as from environmental groups, under the condition that it would

that make me the person I am are helping others, being organized, and doing the

concepts to people without making that person more confused than they probably

Second Industrial Revolution In 1850
Socialism was at its peak during the late years of the 1st Industrial Revolution into
the early years of the second Industrial Revolution that started in 1850. As there was
a shift from the oppressive feudal and agrarian systems of the conservative order,
industrial jobs that paid more and produced more capital for the economy became
prominent. Governments were slowly but surely turning into constitutionalized
monarchies, a step up from the absolute monarchies. However the working class still
had most of the short end of the stick when it came to their health and democratic
rights. They were crowded in unsanitary slums, overworked, underpaid for their
labor, and overshadowed by the prioritized wants of the bourgeoisie. Unlike the

ownership affects ECCO in several ways. It has allowed the company to keep
executives with knowledge of the company in key positions due to their loyalty to
the company. CEO Karl Toosbuy had left the company several times only to

Candidiasis is known as a fungal infection that can affect many areas of the body
from younger children to senior citizens. Candidiasis has the ability to affect areas
such as throat, blood, mouth, skin and genitals. Candidiasis is caused by an

Vaginal yeast infections are very common with women. The symptoms include:
soreness and redness in the vaginal area, white, clumpy vaginal discharge that has a
similar look to cottage cheese, painful intercourse and extreme itching in the
vaginal area. Yeast infection is possible in men but with mostly uncircumcised
men. The symptoms of men include itching or burning on the tip of the penis and
red rash on penis. Sexual partner can be infected by yeast infection if untreated.
Fortunately, there are many over the counter treatments for yeast infections
available. Creams are available as a treatment and also a physician may
recommend a single, 150 milligram dose of Diflucan (fluconazole). It is very
important to see a physician rather than self diagnosing. If the infection returns it is
possible that antifungal medicine is needed to be taken everyday for 10 to 14 days
and then once a week for 6 months. If a person frequently get yeast infection a
physician would further look into this matter to see what exactly is causing the
reoccurrence. A physician may suggest that you take a probiotic. Probiotic are known

Bob Dylan The Times They Are A-Changin Essay
The Vietnam War was a war many people had no clue why we were in. Many men,
women, and children died in or cause of this war. From this, protests rained upon
the government leading to a new kind of protest by Bob Dylan, song. Bob Dylan
was born on May 24, 1941 and from an early age had always fought for what was
right. His songs have changed and inspired not just our country but the world. He
is the only musician with a Nobel Prize for Literature and so far is the only one
who truly deserves it. His protests through his music tell people that lives are being
lost and teach us to fight against the war as there was no reason to be in it. Bob Dylan
s song The Times They Are A Changin was considered a national anthem for the
sixties and showed that a single song can make a difference through its extraordinary
lyrics protesting the Vietnam War through the use of multiple literary elements.

The First Golden Age Of Television

In the first golden age, there was no gold. In fact, there was no color, only black
and white. The first golden age of television occurred in the nineteen fifties and the
gold was quite humble on the surface. Because the shows were about local police,
cowboys and housewives. However, these wholesome programs acted like an awl,
digging deep into the national psyche, bringing out something truly valuable and
sought after by everyone. These shows exemplified the feelings of a nation and
gave everyone a model to follow and a dream to chase. There are many who say that
the turn of the century marked the second golden age of television. This carries into
the present day, with television drama and streaming services allowing an ... Show

Bezzerides holds her own in a male dominated police force. Most of her early
interactions with males puts her on top, dominating males at their own perceived
games of strength, coldness and tact. Examples of this include an early meeting
with her father where tells her father he failed her, engaging in casual sex and
refusing to accept emotional advances from anyone. Later during the show,
Bezzerides goes undercover at a sex party to find evidence towards who killed the
corrupt city official. During the process of being groomed to enter, she is forced to
ingest MDMA. A repressed childhood memory surfaces during advances by an older
male. It is a bearded face of a man, who stayed at her father s spiritual retreat when
she was a child. This man called her pretty and lured in into his VW van to proceed
to sexually abused her for two days in a cave. It is here that the Freudian personality
themes emerge In Bezzerides interactions. Shortly after escaping the party,
Bezzerides makes love to another protagonist, after which she is further able to
explore the repressed memory. Recalling that she felt proud that her abuser thought
she was pretty. Her anger at the male aggressor and her father was repressed
because it was damaging to her ego. In effort to protect herself the sexual feelings
and aggression were displaced and sublimated though working a dominating career.
The defense of identifying with the aggressor is also present in
The Role Of Sex Work And Sex Trafficking
Sex trafficking, is a crime that has become a problem worldwide, including the
United States. Human trafficking, or trafficking in persons, is a crime where
people profit from the exploitation of others through some form of labor (Polaris,
2015). When you are taking a domestic approach to study gender and sex
trafficking, or sex work period in the United States, you are required to know how
people do gender while being a part of this industry. Examining the structure of
gender in society with regard to sex work and sex trafficking can shed light on how
the system works and how it is perpetuated.
To understand how gender works in both individual participants and overall
structures of sex trafficking, one must understand gender as both a structure and as
an individual identity (Lorber, 1994; Risman, 1998). So, how do issues of gender
inequality tie into trafficking? Women are common victims to be trafficked for
domestic service and sex industries. Sex trafficking is beneficial because it s very
profitable and is occurring worldwide around the globe. The industrialization of the
sex trafficking and its globalization can be fundamental factors that make
contemporary prostitution different from the prostitution of yesterday. Consumers in
the economic North have now gained access to young and exotic girls, with very
young bodies around the world. These beautiful young ladies come from countries
like, Brazil, Cuba, Russia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Vietnam, Nicaragua.
Hero Makes A Hero
Heroes are the certain type of people that would give up their own life, just to
protect you and the people around them when things go wrong. A quote from
Robert De Niro he says Time goes on so whatever you re going to do, do it. Do it
right now. I think a hero would use this quote in a tough situation like if he were
trying to save someone he would do it now because time goes on. A herorepresents
the people, a hero makes many sacrifices that a everyday person couldn t think of
doing. A hero is always trying to do the right even when things don t always go their
way, or the way they need it to go, overall, hero stays strong. Heroes make sacrifices
to protect those around them. A quote from Doctor
Says this at lincoln s funeral Though our beloved president is slain our beloved
country is saved Over the grief of president lincoln being assassinated, he believes
that lincoln is an almighty hero for re uniting the union, defeating the south, and
free all the slaves in the South. Lincoln is recognized for all his accomplishments,
and his overall heroism. Lincoln made so many sacrifices and I think he is the
hero of the north and liberator of the slaves. Another quote from Donald Trump is
Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war. This quote
represents a hero in so many ways because sometimes a hero cannot have always go
their way. But if the hero learns from his mistakes like what trump is saying when he
says the battle is lost learn from your
Dogs and Cats Compare and Contrast
Raising pets is a good habit; through it you can learn how to take care of domestic
animals. You may also have many other advantages; such as while you raise a pet
you will have a very sincere friend for you. Most people like to have cats or dogs as
pets, but which is better cats or dogs. Both cats and dogs are easy to be raised but
they differ in many things that you may prefer to raise one of them instead of the
other. They differ in terms of cleaning, exercising, and training.
It is already known that cats are very clean animals. They clean them selves by their
tongues. They clean them selves using sands. Also cats clean their children. You do
not need to clean them, just depend on them to make themselves clean. As cats do ...

They do not move a lot, unless there is a need to their movement. Dogs also do not
create tricks; you need to teach them every single movement. Another important part
in raising dogs is training; you need to have extra time to train your dog. Teaching
your dog to obey instructions requires you allowing the dog to do the right
commands and correct the wrong ones. You must never be too hard on the dog and
avoid striking it; otherwise it will not obey you. If it tends to obey you because of
punishment, it will be unhappy. Try to reward your dog as you train it, to get what
you want and to make your dog follow the instructions. As a result of dogs requiring
cleaning, exercising, and training, you have to provide your dog with proper
leadership. In consequence, you will spend much more time to take care of your dog.
While dogs and cats are a lot alike, you have to consider their differences before you
choose your pet. As mentioned before cats do not require cleaning nor exercising or
training, while dogs are in need of all these things. If you want to raise a pet then, try
to manage your time before you choose your best
A Brief Note On The United States And Papua New Guinea
Time to Care If America is the greatest country in the world for its inhabitants,
Colorado must be the best place in the United States for whoever is lucky to call it
home. However, if you ever decide to have a child anywhere in Colorado, you will

States accompanies the non developed Suriname (South America) and Papua New
Guinea (Australia) in the group of the only three countries in the world that do not

It would work similarly as what happens with taxes that go towards unemployment

Therefore, any participant could require a paid parental leave with the birth of a
child. The senate denied the bill and buried Colorado in the limbo of states where
having a kid is even more challenging to the parents life. Although the majority of
the cost of the program would come from the participants income, the major
concern of the politicians who disapproved the bill still related to the costs of a
project. Local businesses also present the same concern about paid maternity
leave. However, both groups always so worried about monetary outcomes should
see the big picture. In the past years, Colorado saw a decline of its birth rate, which
is also below the country s average. According to the latest National Vital Statistics
Report, births in Colorado stopped increasing in the past ten years; to explain that
trend, the Ages and Stages study, from the Cassandra Report specialized in
researching trends among the millennials generation showed that 34% of American
adults born after 1985 do not want to have kids. The unwillingness to give up
flexibility is the most cited reason between the participants; in a state with no paid
maternity leave, you need to be very flexible to have a kid. What does that have to do
with economy, though? In the
Unrequited Love By Edward Lemay
Unrequited love is a literary term that occurs when, men and women fall in love but
the love is not returned. Unrequited love also occurs when love is mutual and
delightful, then for one the love fades. Often love strengthens or dies unpredictably,
unfortunately many lovers end up valuing and caring for someone who just does not
care or value them in return. Although unrequited loveis used in literature, it occurs in
real life also. Love has to be balanced in order for it to work. Psychological scientist
Edward Lemay of the University of Maryland, developed the theory that, the need for
responsiveness is so powerful that lovers often distort reality in order to validate the
emotional response they need and desire. Lemay believed that the desire to bond with
another person through a close, committed... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example one studied relieved, when one partner cares for and supports the
other, he or she tends to believe that these feelings are reciprocated regardless of
whether they are or not. Another study evaluated specific cognitive processes that
are used to distort our beliefs about our partners. Lemay has uncovered that biased
memories play a part. For example, He had partners report their partner s
responsiveness care, positive regard and commitment at the end of the day for seven
days. Those who were most motivated to bond with their partner on a particular day
these men and women remembered their partners as more responsive the day before.
These results lead to his discovery that cognitive processes distort our beliefs about
our partners. Over the years I have experienced many instances of unrequited love.
Unfortunately, I feel that unrequited love occurs far too often, leaving one individual
upset or even heartbroken. In today s generation, unrequited love seems more
prevalent, due to lack of communication and fear of
Analysis Of Joe Turner s Come And Gone
Nothing takes away the dignity and self respect of individuals like stripping them of
their human characteristics and viewing them as property instead of people. The
quickest way to make someone lose his or her direction in life is to destroy the
identity he or she worked hard to forge. Through his use of symbolism and indirect
characterization, August Wilson establishes his theme that finding and maintaining
one s identity is important in life.
The title Joe Turner s Come and Gone refers to Joe Turney, the brother of former
Tennessee Governor Peter Turney. In the late 19th Century, Joe Turney was
responsible for transporting black prisoners from Memphis to the Tennessee State
Penitentiary, located in Nashville. However, he would often... Show more content on

Cause you forgot how to sing your song (II, ii, 68). According to Bynum, an
individual s song is synonymous with his or her identity. This is seen on a historical
level, when one considers the detrimental impact Joe Turner s chain gangs had on
individuals: he broke each member until they had all forgotten who they were. The
loss of individual identity may allude to the fact that members of a chain gang had to
work together because they were chained together; they were no longer viewed as
individuals but were considered a unit. When viewed as a symbol for oppression,
Joe Turner exceeds chain gangs and is found in every level of the lives of African
Americans; he is the reason men like Seth are unable to further their businesses, he
is the reason police officers abuse their power and arrest innocent black men like
Jeremy, and he is the reason families like the Loomis fall apart. On a metaphorical
level, the loss of identity could refer to the loss of one s self in the sense of the
values one holds dear. Regardless of the dimension in which the loss of individuality
is viewed, the central message remains the same: Joe Turner (oppression and the
historical figure) preys on the identity of African Americans and works hard to
destroy it.
Besides symbolism, Wilson uses indirect characterization to describe the different
generations that are present in the play and show how each generation struggles to

An Example About Prostate Cancer
If we take a look at an example about prostate cancer, with the data collected by
Hastie, Tibshirani, Friedman in The Elements of Statistical Learning [2] and view
the scatterplot in figure 1.1, we can see that the dependent variable, the log of the
prostate specific antigen (lpsa) has a strong positive correlation particularly with
lcavol (the log cancer volume) and lcp (the log of capsular penetration) with
weaker but still strong correlations with the other dependent variables, log prostate
weight (lweight), age, log of the amount of benign prostatic hyperplasia (lbph), and
percent of Gleason scores 4 or 5 (pgg45), but not the svi (seminal vesicle invasion)
and gleason (gleason score) as these are categorical variables [2]. Below figures 1.2
and 1.3 were fit with all variables and figures 1.4 and 1.5 were simplified by
removing variables that had high p values until I felt that the model was better
improved and they were fit thereafter. When we plot the fitted values against the
residuals, if there is linearity, we should get an even spread around the line at 0. If
we look at figures 1.2 and 1.4, for which the R coding can be found in the appendix
below (section 7), we can see that they both seem to have linearity with figure 1.2
having possible outliers further away from the line and figure 1.4 having a more
even spread. Taking a look at figure 1.3 we can see that there is a particularly good
fit along the middle but the tails have fairly large variation, suggesting a
The Importance Of Ethnic Minorities
Society consists of complex processes which affect different groups in different ways
and some groups, for various reasons, can experience high rates of disadvantage and
oppression. Multiple aspects of a person s identity can create significant bias,
resulting in disproportionate treatment. Young black males for example, especially
those from lower socio economic backgrounds, suffer discrimination considerably
more on the basis of their different attributes; being young, male and belonging to an
ethnic minority groupwhilst a status of being from poorer backgrounds further
disadvantages their opportunities and their position in society (Solanke, 2009).
Intersectional frameworks play a key role by enabling a deeper insight into social
institutions and practices concerning ethnic minorities and social problems which
arise through inequality. The way institutions, such as the criminal justice system and
the police, deal with ethnic minority groups contributes to ongoing stigma and
discrimination, especially that of young males as their actions influence external
perceptions of the general public towards ethnic minorities, thus allowing for
continued racial abuse and discrimination. This essay will focus on the disparities of
young black and minority ethnic (BME) males in the criminal justice system and
identify intersectional influences overrepresentation within the system in order to
recognise the inequalities these people face and promote social justice.

If the labor cost will increase 40% in the next 10 years, that means it ll increase 3.4%

If the labor cost will increase 40% annually in the next 10 years, the NPV of costs
will be $91,424,835.
We can see from previous analysis, NPV of Temecula is $94,826,678. So if labor cost
will increase differently, we ll get different NVP. But no matter how big increase it ll
be, our decision will still be outsourcing to china.
2. Electricity Price
The current electricity cost in China is 0.065USD per kilo watt hour. It is
estimated to increase by 20% over the next 10 years. Assuming the electricity cost
increase at a certain rate each year, we get the annual increase rate 1.8% (1.8%
=(1+20%)^(1/10) 1). This estimated rate is probably lower than the actually annual
increase because of increasing pressure on environmental records and fuel costs.
Thus how much does electricity cost may increase is important and the NPV model
output is sensitive to it. However, since the electricity cost in China is so low when

Teamwork is critical to successful use of talent, skills, knowledge and labor in a
globally competitive marketplace. All members of a team and organization have
something to share with others and something to learn (Kaye, Hogan, 1999).
Combined Learning Team D has a lot of strengths some of the innate tendencies
are that a majority of the team is tenacious. As a whole they seek to get things done
quickly. The members all express confidence in their ability to achieve and make

team is able to take calculated risks when making decisions. The team is able to see
things in black and white. This makes it easier for them to delegate and take charge

people who travel often can attest to. To realize that Afghanistan wasn t always in the

Afghanistan was a much different place prior to the conflicts taking hold during the

TRAIL OF TEARS
The trail of tears is also referred to as the period of Indian s removal. It was a period
where Native Americans in the U.S were forcefully relocated following the removal
of Indian Removal Act of 1830. Those who were forcibly moved were from Cherokee
, Muscogee, Seminole, and Chickasaw and Choctaw nations in the southern U.S, an
area initially referred to as the Indian Territory. Migration from Cherokee nation
had begun in the early 1800 s where some Cherokee s decided to move and settle in
other parts of the country. A group of Old Settlers had moved there earlier in 1817
voluntarily to lands granted to them in Arkansas where they had a peaceful life.
Afterward, they were forced to move into the I Indian Territory (A. Byers 27)
Resentment of Cherokee from the whites had been building up ad it became worse
after the discovery of gold in northern Georgia. White communities turned against
their Cherokee neighbors due to the thirst for expansion and gold. Without
consulting or questions asked, the U.S government decided that Cherokee had to be
removed, leaving their lands, home and farm. Before their removal, the five groups
lived together being referred to as the Five Civilized Groups. The white settlers from
the southeast had been pressurizing the U.S government to remove the Native
Americans. These settlers were on the Indian lands and wanted more for them. The
move was initially opposed by many as it was
Analysis Of The Writings Of Washington Irving, Nathaniel...
Review of writings of Washington Irving, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Edgar Allan Poe.
By Mantegbosh Letyibelu
Irving, Poe, and Hawthorne were arguably some of the most popular writers of the
19th century (Dincer 223; Lauter 2505). All three of them are known for their short
essays and their advocacy to make writing a full fledged and legitimate profession.
Their writings show that they were hugely influenced by the Romantic Movement
(romanticism); a movement in art, literature, music, philosophy, politics and culture
towards focusing on the individual, the subjective, and the spontaneous (Dincer
218). Romanticist writing encouraged contemplation and self awareness, direct
contact with nature, and a focus on and an exploration of inner feelings (Dincer
223). Yet, they had distinct writing style, focus, and theme. While Irving was more
of a light romantic writer, a writing style characterized by optimism, Poe and
Hawthorne are widely considered dark romantic Authors whose writings were
characterized by pessimism that sees the world as full of dark, evil, suffering,
horror, and mystery. While Irving s writing focused more on satire and humor, Poe
Hawthorne s writing was more about evil, crime, sin, and mystery. Moreover, Irving
seem to be nostalgic aristocrat with huge interest in the landscape, folklore, and the
past (2506), whereas Poe and Hawthorne had a contrary view of the past (Liptak).

Settlement Mechanisms Implemented In relation to dispute settlement it becomes
apparent that there is a need for the utilization of dispute settlement mechanisms.
The advantages of these mechanisms seem to outweigh the disadvantages in the
sense that these mechanisms are considerably cheaper than having to go through
the process of litigation. Also there is the added bonus of the speed with which
these settlements can be handled with. This is clearly a necessary factor for
companies which require disputes to be handled speedily in relation to time
constraints and budgetary considerations. The process of control offered to parties
by these procedures is a significant factor to consider in relation to business owners
and companies who are more accustomed to running their businesses than having
their disputes being handled by the strict court process and discretion of a judge.
The reasoning for the various stages that has been included in the Dispute

process involving the discussion of some or all of the issues in a case with a view
to resolving them on agreed terms. The process may be quite simple, or may involve

How Did The Liberal Government Act Of Social Reform...
The Introduction of Social Reforms by the Liberal Government in 1906 1914
There are multiple reasons why the Liberal government introduced acts of social
reform between 1906 and 1914. The obvious reason is that there was a great need
for reform(change) but there are also many other factors that played a part in the
decision for a reform. This change was really required to help and improve Britain.
The reason for this need for change was the poor conditions that all parts of Britain
had been left in after the conservatives had been in power.
It is often said that the Liberals had to introduce in social reforms due to pressure
from the Labour party. This new party was formed in 1903 ... Show more content on

Because of this there were committees set up to evaluate and analyze this to show
that the physical condition males was very poor, as this was the group of people
who would be defending Britain for years to come something needed to be done. If
Britain would always struggle to defeat.
The other factor that made the need seem realistically more desperate was from
surveys carried out indifferent places by two very different men Seebohm
Rowntree and Charles Booth. The carried surveys out on all classes but were very
concerned about the poor. After many years of analyzing and evaluating they
calculated that a family of fives minimum necessary income per week for a family to
exist at mere physical efficiency was 21s 8d. this minimum amount was called the
poverty line. Over a third of the population of Britain were earning under this
poverty line whilst another third were just meeting it. Nearly all of the
unemployment was caused by ill health or just lack of work available. If the man
lost his job the whole family would struggle to survive. This is when sometimes the
children were sent out to work. The liberals needed to change this and New
Liberalism was the way.

Alice s Journey Through Wonderland
Lewis Carroll s classic children s novel, Alice s Adventures in Wonderland is
fundamentally about the growth of the character of Alice. In the Victorian period
1837 1901, there was a changes in children education and reflexively development
of children literature. Therefore when writing Lewis Carroll attempts to put forth
a form of education within the text. The story follows Alice who is a seven year
old well mannered victorian girl that stumbles through a rabbit hole into the
magical world of Wonderland. Alice takes on the role of the audience viewing
Wonderland and its strange inhabitants. It is through language in both

We just read what Paul wrote about Christian love, in the 13th chapter of 1st

in His word, that without faith, it is impossible to please Him, (Heb. 11 6). In fact, I
like the way that Prophet TB Joshua, Senior Pastor of Synagogue Church of all

spontaneously, naturally. In other words, God does not force Christians to have faith,
faith is natural, which flows out of their love for
The Dow Jones Industrial Average
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is indeed the most publicized and
extensively known stock market on the globe. Being a major contributor of the N Y
S E (New York Stock Exchange) trading stocks (Ullivan, Steven, 2003), the index
shares the United States economy by a notably significant margin. Also, the index
has been operational for long since its inception in the nineteenth century, making it
the first to be quoted by other publications. Its reputation has mushroomed all over
because of its understandability and reliability in the market. This paper explains the
DJIA index as well as its history in the simplest terms. Also, the paper critically
evaluates the index taking into consideration that it is a price weighted index, unlike
other substantial value, weighted measures like the S P 500 index.
The average has a rich history and development since it came into effect during the
nineteenth century. It was first unveiled in 1896 by Charles H. Dow with a major
goal of disseminating valuable information and opinions about the stock market and
also contributing to the nourishment of United States economy. The average named
after Dow and his business colleague, Edward Jones. This index mainly shows the
trading patterns and performance among the 30 big corporations in the United States.
It also shows their trend in the stock market. Most investors at the beginning used to
trade on bonds mainly, followed by other few real assets such as machinery and

Food Allergies Essay
It is common in the United States for people to have food allergies and it is
increasing. The body s negative reaction to a specific food protein is what is
known to be a food allergy. The most common food allergies are milk and dairy
products, egg and egg products, fish and shellfish, wheat, soy and soy products, and
peanuts and tree nuts (Servsafe). Different foodallergies develop in people at
different times in their lives depending on the allergy and the person themselves.
Fish and shellfish food allergies tend to not develop until adulthood. With fish
approximately forty percent of people who were in a study on food allergies said
that they did not have their first fish allergic reaction until they were an adult.
With shellfish, about sixty percent of people had their first reaction when they
were adults. Everyone to some extent is allergic to a type of food, but fish and
shellfish food allergies are two of the most common and can possibly be the most
dangerous out of all the food allergies. To help people with a shellfish and fish

It seems strange to people to think shellfish to be more dangerous to fish allergy,
believing them to be the same thing but if you have one of the two food allergies, it
does not necessarily mean the person is allergic to the other as well. The shellfish
has a food protein called tropomyosin, which can be found in insects like cockroaches
and dust mites. Also if a person has a fish allergy they could possibly only be allergic
to one type of fish and can eat a variety of other
The Basis Of Labeling Theory As A Whole Is Practically
The basis of Labeling Theory as a whole is practically exactly as it sounds, the
labeling, or stigmatizing, of a person or group of people throughout their life. This
labeling is the result of how that person, or group of people, identifies and behaves
throughout their life. This idea of the Labeling Theorycomes from Becker, who
claims that individuals will conform with what is said and assumed about them.
Becker s theory states the idea that those who are labeled throughout life as deviant
will become deviant and take on a known selfhood as deviant. This idea also claims
that those labeled as deviant will act more deviant than if they had not been labeled
this way. The Labeling Theory uses social characteristics such as class and race to...

Logical consistency, also known as internally consistent, generates the basis that
the theory is filled with internally sound and consistent ideas throughout (Akers et.
al.). These ideas must make sense in a logical aspect that does not allow the
general ideas to conflict with each other in a way that confuses the ideas. Labeling
theory follows the concept of logical consistency by sticking with labeling being
the reasoning behind why people act the way they do, deviant or not deviant. As
stated previously, if an individual is labeled as deviant they will then act deviant.
There is no contrast to this idea throughout the theory, which allows it to be
logically consistent. Another known obstacle is that of scope. Scope is known as
the range of distribution that the theory covers. For example, if a theory focuses
specifically on juveniles for a specific crime, such as theft, then the theory would
be considered to have a very limited scope. Labeling theory would be considered to
have a generally wide scope because of the fact that it covers all ages, all races, and
all genders. The theory also covers a wide scope because it references all deviance.
Theorists have stated that, agents of control, who function on behalf of the powerful
in society, impose the labels on the less powerful (Akers et. al, 2017). This points to
the idea that it is not just one specific group of people, but simply those of higher
Consequentialism Essay
Consequentialism and non consequentialism are both action based ethical
frameworks that people can use to make ethical judgments. Consequentialism is based
on examining the consequences of one s actions as opposed to non consequentialism
which is focused on whether the act is right or wrong regardless of the outcome
(Burgh, Field Freakley, 2006). The three sub categories of consequentialismare
altruism, utilitarianismand egoism. Altruism is when the actions of a person promote
the best consequences for others, yet do not benefit the person who performed the
act. Abruzzi and McGandy (2006) explain that Auguste Comte developed the term to
support his ethical stance that humans are morally obliged to serve the interests of

From an egoism perspective the teacher would disregard the rights of others by
taking the path of least resistance in order to minimise the negative consequences for
her. The consequences of this would be that the teacher would primarily side with the
community and also grant Del s family their wishes.
Under the ethical framework of consequentialism and in regards to this scenario, it is
apparent that a utilitarian perspective would result in the most positive outcome. As a
teacher you have a responsibility to all stakeholders including yourself therefore,
egoism or altruism are inappropriate. From a utilitarian perspective a course of action
would be organise a meeting with all of the stakeholders involved to discuss the
various issues and actions needed to implement effective inclusive classroom
practices both within the classroom and the school. Practices would involve
curricular and non curricular activities. This action plan is justified because it reflects
the multicultural nature of our globalised society and all stakeholders benefit in the
long term.
The four sub categories of non consequentialism are natural rights, social contract,
deontology and divine command.
From a natural rights perspective the belief is that above all else human beings have
basic human rights that must be adhered to regardless of the consequences. Locke
(1690, as cited in Burgh et al., 2006) developed the
How Does Salt Concentration Affect The Rate Of Osmosis
In...
In this experiment I am looking at what the effect of various salt concentrations will
have on the rate of osmosis in potatoes. Osmosis is the movement of water
molecules from a high water potential to a low water potential through a semi
permeable membrane. All cells have semi permeable membranes which means that it
only allows certain substances in and out of the cell. Many factors effect the rate of
osmosis, this includes temperature and the amount of salt added.
I think that when the potatoe is placed in a salt concentration where the water
potential is greater the potatoe molecules will move from the potatoe to the salt and
a decrease in the mass will happen. The more salt there is in the water the fresher the
potatoe will stay. The... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are 3 different types of osmosis, they are called hypertonic, hypotonic and
isotonic. Hypertonic is when water spreads out of the cell, making the cell shrink.
Hypotonic is when water moves into the cell causing the cell to swell or burst.
Isotonic allows water to go in and out of the cell but the cell does not shrink nor
swell or burst. Pros and cons around osmosis: The pros around osmosis are the
water is outstanding and very clean, it is at a very low cost, the water tastes better
therefore you would want water instead of cola and food tastes much better. The
cons around osmosis are the clogging in the taps, filter replacement and it is a very
slow process A filtration system is an ideal environmental condition for optimal
osmosis. The filtration will remove the solid particles out of the water, so that you
can drink clear, clean water. This process purifies water making it taste better. Water
purifiers can be put into homes making it better to drink

Individual Rights Vs. National Security
I negate the resolution, Resolved: When the United States is engaged in military
conflict, national security ought to supercede conflicting claims of individual rights.
My value for the round is Human Dignity, or what can be defined as a respect for the
individual and his or her rights and virtues. John Stuart Mill states that Everyone who
receive the protection of society owes a return for the benefit... but not to the point
that it violates constituted rights. Thus those rights which are the fundamentals of
human dignity must be maintained. No fundamental goal should ever undermine this

Personality Project Analysis
Nothing feels better than giving back to a place that has given so much to people.
A majority of the little things that we do day by day are taken for granted or they
are just seen as nothing major. In reality there are so many things that are given to
us and we do not always see the little things in life as anything of mass importance.
For our kindness project we decided that it was time for us to give a little to ensure
someone had a smile at the end of the day. We partnered up with the Rho Nu club
here on campus and together we made tie blankets. These blankets that we made
will be donated to the Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane later this month. We
decided to do this project in the hopes of giving a little, but making it count for a lot
more. We hoped that the children receiving these blankets always get a smile on
their face or simply that they just find comfort in these blankets. In this project I was
the leader of the group and I did most of the organization of... Show more content on

We are very well connected and have no trouble in communicating. It has been very
easy for us to meet up and discuss our kindness project when it is necessary. Our
group has also been very good with discussing different ideas and then narrowing it
down to something that fits all of us. I believe that the only challenge was that we
had to be sure to attend the Rho Nu meeting so that the tie blankets could be made
in a sterile environment. It was difficult at first to make sure everyone could attend
due to some conflicting schedules. Eventually we were able to come to an
agreement of the time and cleared our schedules. We completed about an hour and a
half of community service by doing this project. Although it was not a lot of time I
think the meaning that it has behind it and what it will mean to the children truly
makes up for that. I was glad that I was able to plan this and lead the team into an
amazing experience for all of
Developing Case Studies
This paper contains a walkthrough of how to do a case study. This walkthrough
includes a process on how to do research, record field notes, how arrive at a
conclusion, and report the findings. Lastly, this paper will address the importance of
case study research.
Developing Case Studies Case studies are a research method that seeks to derive
an in depth understanding of a single or small number of real world cases (Yin,
2012). The process by which this specialized research is performed is briefly
outlined in this paper. The process begins with defining a case you wish to
investigate and gain a greater understanding of (Yin, 2012). A case can be a certain
person, team, organization, behavior, event or another social phenomenon (Yin, 2012).

The researcher will use the final analysis and summary to write a case study report.
This report will quickly identify what could be potentially important to the audience.
This can be done through multiple report styles such as: linear analytic, theory
building, comparative, and or suspense (Crowther, 2017).
The importance of Case Study Research This paper will now address the
importance of case study research. Mccutcheon states that case study research is
the primary means of exploring field conditions, making it highly valuable (1993).
Case study research allows you to get a specialized view of what takes actually
takes place in the world instead of in a laboratory. That is why its is advised to do
interviews in environments that are most comfortable for the interviewee because
you are more likely to get more in depth and accurate research (Crowther, 2017). This
is especially true with Yin wrote that case study research has, covered a broad variety
of subjects, such as community studies, education, public health, businesses and
industry, public policy and public administration, and social and societal problems
and controversies. In addition, case study research has a long and important role in
clinical and biographical research, including research on infants
My Mother In My Life
Throughout my life I have always had people coming in and out of my life like it
was just the thing to do. Even though all these people come and go somehow I still
manage to find myself alone and find that I have to use my own earnings for the
things I want. But out of all those people three wonderful women chose to take me
under their wing and show me the path my life is going to take without even
knowing it. My mom. Let me just tell you something about that women real quick,
she is the most hard working, inspiring women I have ever met. She is always on
the move. Whether it is in the kitchen or taking care of me and my sisters. My dad
has never really been in the picture. I don t say that to get pity or anything but it
has always just been my mom. So since it has always just been my mom that had
forced me to grow up and mature faster than most kids my age. If it was something
small my mom would always let me cook and if I messed up it was okay because I
was just a child. But now that I am a senior in high school, I am always cookingand
expanding my sister s pallets. Other than cooking in the kitchen with my mom, I cook
my first big meal with my grandma.
Grandma was always in the kitchen cooking up something. Weather it was just
some good old fashion chocolate chip cookies or a whole Thanksgiving meal. I
had a tendency to always be peeking around the corner until one day I heard her say
Come on Dolly, come help me. It was that very day that I fell in love with cooking.
Persuasive Essay On Sport Cars
Previously sport cars were only designed to be fast and nimble. To achieve these
characteristics, sacrifices had to be made. For example, these cars were not
equipped with luxurious materials such as genuine leather or exotic wood.
Additionally, space had to be forfeit to minimize weight which allows the car to be
agile. Due to these limitations, most people stray away from sport cars. To present
day, Porschehas made the perfect sport car featuring the traditional aspect of a sport
car but with added practicality for modern usage. The Porsche commercial
successfully convinced the audience that their cars were designed for everyday use
by providing visual examples of the car in different situations and music to lighten the
ambiance and monologue... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The song repeated the word feel good several times to evoke positive emotion from
the audience. When the school bus scene starts, the audience can hear the
monologue A car design for a singular purpose, yet somehow manages to be much
more. Porsche, Engineered for magic, everyday . In addition to the illustrations,
music and narrative added the third sense to the commercial. The monologue A car
design for a singular purpose, but somehow manages to be much more. allows the
viewers to realize that Porsche were not originally designed to be a snow mobile,
pickup truck, or a school bus but they can adapt the roles of those vehicle.
The commercial was successful by using camera angles, lighting, and composition
simultaneously to showcase the sophisticatedly designed Porsche. Throughout the
scenes, the Porsche were presented with difficult and outlandish situations where the
vehicles did not expect to perform sufficiently to show how the Porsche can adapt to
difficult circumstances. The usages of music set up a positive mood throughout the
advertisement. The narrative was added to reinsure the viewers that Porsches were
made for a singular purpose and that purpose is to do
Who Was Aaron Copland An American Composer
My composer that was given to me was Aaron Copland. Aaron Copland is an
American composer, writer, and later in his career a conductor of his own and
other American music. He was instrumental in forging a distinctly American style
of composition, and is often referred to as The Dean of American Composers . He
was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 14, 1900. He was the youngest of
five children whom are Ralph, Leon, Laurine, and Joesephine. Him and his siblings
spent their childhood living above his parents department store. He developed an
interest in the piano, receiving guidance from his older sister; Laurine. She also
introduced him to Ragtime and Opera. His parents were Sarah Mittenthal Copland
and Harris Morris Copland whom were
High Noon Symbolism
The stasis of High Noon is introduced through the opening scene at the outskirts of
Hadleyville in the plains and the film is shot in a high contrast black and white. It
is in the morning and the sun is high in the clear sky. In the dry plains, seemingly
located in the middle of nowhere, we see the cowboy James Pierce with his horse,
who waits on top of a rock, near several trees. In the distance, we see another
cowboy, Jack Colby, riding his horse through the plains towards the waiting
cowboy. Jack Colby arrives, gets off his horse, and sits on top of a rock as both
cowboys see a third rider, Ben Miller, coming towards them. When Ben Miller
arrives, all three of them ride their horses through the plains and we hear distant
bells of a church, as they ride towards Hadleyville. As the cowboys pass through the
church and town, many civilians stare at them as they recognize these gang
members. Some are afraid while others are astonished and could not believe that
they are intruding the town. One female even performs hand gestures that
symbolize a silent prayer to God for protection as she sees the men pass by the
town. In a courtroom, a wedding is in progress, Marshal, Will Kane, and Quaker,
Amy Fowler, face Judge Mettrick. As this is happening, the three cowboys approach a
train stationand the stationmaster seems nervous. The cowboys asks the stationmaster
if the train will arrive on time and he responds that it will and that there is no reason
that it shouldn t. The cowboys
Analysis Of Graeme Turner s Understanding Celebrity
Introduction
A celebrity is defined by the media and society through characterisations; the
introduction of various on line and print media platforms enhance the presence of
celebrity culture, such for advertising, activism, different genres of television (e.g.
reality, gastronomical), and even political avenues as well (Driessens). Their fame is
developed based on prominence cum establishment in the entertainment industry that
transforms their recognition into a popular culture. In Graeme Turner s Understanding
Celebrity, he discusses the effects of contemporary popular culture representing
celebrity as an icon of cultural change (Turner Understanding Celebrity). The power
of a celebrity uses his status and popularity to create discourse with the public and
media; how each present themselves to an audience in performances or marketing,
these functions as general tokens of success in their glamourous lives (Driessens).
The discursive effect in the celebrity contemporary culture aligns close to religion,
with some qualities credited to particular celebrities and religious figures. The way
some fans admire their celebrity figures reflects a spiritual experience, as fans view
their idol as a person with immortal talents and influential qualities. This phenomenon
is linked to how the media glorifies the celebrity and thus, produces a celebrated
figure with an astounding influence amongst the public (Turner Understanding
Celebrity). As a result, the celebrity s economic value is

Macbeth Imagery Essay

  • 1. Macbeth Imagery Essay Crafting an essay on the theme of "Macbeth Imagery" can be both challenging and rewarding. The difficulty lies in the complexity of Shakespeare's play "Macbeth" itself, as well as the intricate use of imagery throughout the text. Analyzing and interpreting the various symbols and metaphors requires a deep understanding of the play's context, characters, and overarching themes. One must delve into the psychological nuances of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, exploring the imagery as a window into their minds and motivations. The play is rife with symbolism, from the recurring motifs of blood and darkness to the portrayal of nature and the supernatural. Unraveling the layers of meaning behind each image demands a keen literary analysis and critical thinking skills. Moreover, crafting a compelling essay on Macbeth's imagery involves not just understanding the symbols in isolation but connecting them to the broader narrative and themes of the play. This requires careful consideration of how imagery contributes to character development, plot progression, and the overall atmosphere of the tragedy. Balancing textual evidence, scholarly interpretations, and personal insights can be a delicate task. It's crucial to present a coherent and well-structured argument that showcases the depth of understanding and analysis. Additionally, avoiding common pitfalls such as superficial analysis or oversimplification is essential for a nuanced and sophisticated essay. In conclusion, tackling a "Macbeth Imagery Essay" is a formidable task that requires a profound appreciation for Shakespearean literature and the ability to dissect complex symbolic elements. However, the intellectual satisfaction derived from unraveling the layers of meaning in the imagery makes the effort worthwhile. Republican Sean P. Duffy, the sponsor of the bill, spoke on the House floor and reinforced Hensarling s statement. Duffy claimed that introducing private companies would allow homeowners to select alternative flood insurance plans that may be cheaper than any available federal plans. Additionally, Duffy stated that private flood insurance companies would assist taxpayers in covering the costs resulting from a flood. Duffy concluded by not only stating that the 21st Century Flood Reform Act is a bipartisan bill but also reiterated its benefit to homeowners, and that it would directly contribute to reducing the national debt. The bill has also received support from the American Academy of Actuaries Casualty Practice Council, as well as from environmental groups, under the condition that it would undergo additional reforms in the Senate, such as to address flood mitigation and the financial

The quickest way to make someone lose his or her direction in life is to destroy the identity he or she worked hard to forge. Through his use of symbolism and indirect characterization, August Wilson establishes his theme that finding and maintaining one s identity is important in life. The title Joe Turner s Come and Gone refers to Joe Turney, the brother of former Tennessee Governor Peter Turney. This is seen on a historical level, when one considers the detrimental impact Joe Turner s chain gangs had on individuals: he broke each member until they had all forgotten who they were. The loss of individual identity may allude to the fact that members of a chain gang had to work together because they were chained together; they were no longer viewed as individuals but were considered a unit. When viewed as a symbol for oppression, Joe Turner exceeds chain gangs and is found in every level of the lives of African Americans; he is the reason men like Seth are unable to further their businesses, he is the reason police officers abuse their power and arrest innocent black men like Jeremy, and he is the reason families like the Loomis fall apart. On a metaphorical level, the loss of identity could refer to the loss of one s self in the sense of the values one holds dear. Regardless of the dimension in which the loss of individuality is viewed, the central message remains the same: Joe Turner (oppression and the historical figure) preys on the identity of African Americans and works hard to destroy it. Besides symbolism, Wilson uses indirect characterization to describe the different generations that are present in the play and show how each generation struggles to find and

The Importance Of Ethnic Minorities Society consists of complex processes which affect different groups in different ways and some groups, for various reasons, can experience high rates of disadvantage and oppression. Multiple aspects of a person s identity can create significant bias, resulting in disproportionate treatment. Young black males for example, especially those from lower socio economic backgrounds, suffer discrimination considerably more on the basis of their different attributes; being young, male and belonging to an ethnic minority groupwhilst a status of being from poorer backgrounds further disadvantages their opportunities and their position in society (Solanke, 2009). Intersectional frameworks play a key role by enabling a deeper insight into social institutions and practices concerning ethnic minorities and social problems which arise through inequality. The way institutions, such as the criminal justice system and the police, deal with ethnic minority groups contributes to ongoing stigma and discrimination, especially that of young males as their actions influence external perceptions of the general public towards ethnic minorities, thus allowing for continued racial abuse and discrimination. This essay will focus on the disparities of young black and minority ethnic (BME) males in the criminal justice system and identify intersectional influences overrepresentation within the system in order to recognise the inequalities these people face and promote social justice. If the labor cost will increase 10% annually in the next 10 years, the NPV of costs will be $74,998,037. If the labor cost will increase 40% annually in the next 10 years, the NPV of costs will be $91,424,835. We can see from previous analysis, NPV of Temecula is $94,826,678. So if labor cost will increase differently, we ll get different NVP. But no matter how big increase it ll be, our decision will still be outsourcing to china. 2. Electricity Price The current electricity cost in China is 0.065USD per kilo watt hour. It is estimated to increase by 20% over the next 10 years. Assuming the electricity cost increase at a certain rate each year, we get the annual increase rate 1.8% (1.8% =(1+20%)^(1/10) 1). This estimated rate is probably lower than the actually annual increase because of increasing pressure on environmental records and fuel costs. Thus how much does electricity cost may increase is important and the NPV model output is sensitive to it. However, since the electricity cost in China is so low when converted

  • 24. The Trail Of Tears By James Collins James Collins Donald West History 201 December 1, 2015 TRAIL OF TEARS The trail of tears is also referred to as the period of Indian s removal. It was a period where Native Americans in the U.S were forcefully relocated following the removal of Indian Removal Act of 1830. Those who were forcibly moved were from Cherokee , Muscogee, Seminole, and Chickasaw and Choctaw nations in the southern U.S, an area initially referred to as the Indian Territory. Migration from Cherokee nation had begun in the early 1800 s where some Cherokee s decided to move and settle in other parts of the country. A group of Old Settlers had moved there earlier in 1817 voluntarily to lands granted to them in Arkansas where they had a peaceful life. Afterward, they were forced to move into the I Indian Territory (A. Byers 27) Resentment of Cherokee from the whites had been building up ad it became worse after the discovery of gold in northern Georgia. White communities turned against their Cherokee neighbors due to the thirst for expansion and gold. Without consulting or questions asked, the U.S government decided that Cherokee had to be removed, leaving their lands, home and farm. Before their removal, the five groups lived together being referred to as the Five Civilized Groups. The white settlers from the southeast had been pressurizing the U.S government to remove the Native Americans. These settlers were on the Indian lands and wanted more for them. The move was initially opposed by many as it was

By Mantegbosh Letyibelu Irving, Poe, and Hawthorne were arguably some of the most popular writers of the 19th century (Dincer 223; Lauter 2505). All three of them are known for their short essays and their advocacy to make writing a full fledged and legitimate profession. Their writings show that they were hugely influenced by the Romantic Movement (romanticism); a movement in art, literature, music, philosophy, politics and culture towards focusing on the individual, the subjective, and the spontaneous (Dincer 218). Romanticist writing encouraged contemplation and self awareness, direct contact with nature, and a focus on and an exploration of inner feelings (Dincer 223). Yet, they had distinct writing style, focus, and theme. While Irving was more of a light romantic writer, a writing style characterized by optimism, Poe and Hawthorne are widely considered dark romantic Authors whose writings were characterized by pessimism that sees the world as full of dark, evil, suffering, horror, and mystery. While Irving s writing focused more on satire and humor, Poe Hawthorne s writing was more about evil, crime, sin, and mystery. Moreover, Irving seem to be nostalgic aristocrat with huge interest in the landscape, folklore, and the past (2506), whereas Poe and Hawthorne had a contrary view of the past (Liptak). The advantages of these mechanisms seem to outweigh the disadvantages in the sense that these mechanisms are considerably cheaper than having to go through the process of litigation. Also there is the added bonus of the speed with which these settlements can be handled with. This is clearly a necessary factor for companies which require disputes to be handled speedily in relation to time constraints and budgetary considerations. The process of control offered to parties by these procedures is a significant factor to consider in relation to business owners and companies who are more accustomed to running their businesses than having their disputes being handled by the strict court process and discretion of a judge. • 33. The Basis Of Labeling Theory As A Whole Is Practically The basis of Labeling Theory as a whole is practically exactly as it sounds, the labeling, or stigmatizing, of a person or group of people throughout their life. This labeling is the result of how that person, or group of people, identifies and behaves throughout their life. This idea of the Labeling Theorycomes from Becker, who claims that individuals will conform with what is said and assumed about them. Becker s theory states the idea that those who are labeled throughout life as deviant will become deviant and take on a known selfhood as deviant. This idea also claims that those labeled as deviant will act more deviant than if they had not been labeled this way. The Labeling Theory uses social characteristics such as class and race to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Logical consistency, also known as internally consistent, generates the basis that the theory is filled with internally sound and consistent ideas throughout (Akers et. al.). These ideas must make sense in a logical aspect that does not allow the general ideas to conflict with each other in a way that confuses the ideas. Labeling theory follows the concept of logical consistency by sticking with labeling being the reasoning behind why people act the way they do, deviant or not deviant. As stated previously, if an individual is labeled as deviant they will then act deviant. There is no contrast to this idea throughout the theory, which allows it to be logically consistent. Another known obstacle is that of scope. Scope is known as the range of distribution that the theory covers. For example, if a theory focuses specifically on juveniles for a specific crime, such as theft, then the theory would be considered to have a very limited scope. Labeling theory would be considered to have a generally wide scope because of the fact that it covers all ages, all races, and all genders. The theory also covers a wide scope because it references all deviance. Theorists have stated that, agents of control, who function on behalf of the powerful in society, impose the labels on the less powerful (Akers et. al, 2017). This points to the idea that it is not just one specific group of people, but simply those of higher

The three sub categories of consequentialismare altruism, utilitarianismand egoism. Altruism is when the actions of a person promote the best consequences for others, yet do not benefit the person who performed the act. The consequences of this would be that the teacher would primarily side with the community and also grant Del s family their wishes. Under the ethical framework of consequentialism and in regards to this scenario, it is apparent that a utilitarian perspective would result in the most positive outcome. As a teacher you have a responsibility to all stakeholders including yourself therefore, egoism or altruism are inappropriate. From a utilitarian perspective a course of action would be organise a meeting with all of the stakeholders involved to discuss the various issues and actions needed to implement effective inclusive classroom practices both within the classroom and the school. Practices would involve curricular and non curricular activities. This action plan is justified because it reflects the multicultural nature of our globalised society and all stakeholders benefit in the long term. The four sub categories of non consequentialism are natural rights, social contract, deontology and divine command. All cells have semi permeable membranes which means that it only allows certain substances in and out of the cell. Many factors effect the rate of osmosis, this includes temperature and the amount of salt added. • 44. Personality Project Analysis Nothing feels better than giving back to a place that has given so much to people. A majority of the little things that we do day by day are taken for granted or they are just seen as nothing major. In reality there are so many things that are given to us and we do not always see the little things in life as anything of mass importance. For our kindness project we decided that it was time for us to give a little to ensure someone had a smile at the end of the day. We partnered up with the Rho Nu club here on campus and together we made tie blankets. These blankets that we made will be donated to the Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane later this month. We decided to do this project in the hopes of giving a little, but making it count for a lot more. We hoped that the children receiving these blankets always get a smile on their face or simply that they just find comfort in these blankets. It has been very easy for us to meet up and discuss our kindness project when it is necessary. Our group has also been very good with discussing different ideas and then narrowing it down to something that fits all of us. I believe that the only challenge was that we had to be sure to attend the Rho Nu meeting so that the tie blankets could be made in a sterile environment. It was difficult at first to make sure everyone could attend due to some conflicting schedules. Eventually we were able to come to an agreement of the time and cleared our schedules. We completed about an hour and a half of community service by doing this project. Although it was not a lot of time I think the meaning that it has behind it and what it will mean to the children truly makes up for that. I was glad that I was able to plan this and lead the team into an amazing experience for all of
