Before: Sales Hub = CRM and if rep/replace wasn’t an option, the deal was dead.
Now: Sales Hub is a sales software. System of record is the goal, but single use case works, too. If rip/replace a CRM isn’t an option, Sales Hub still provides immense value to sales team (prospecting, selling and deal management, and analysis and competitive intelligence)
Talk to your partners about getting more market share for Sales Hub - those who weren’t a fit before, or who weren’t such an obvious fit may now be a great fit for Sales Hub. Sales Hub is now a good fit as a first hub sales versus an add-on, especially for Midmarket and Corporate segments (26-201 employees)
Encourage partners to reopen conversations with those who didn’t want to rip out their CRM, or partners unhappy with SalesLoft or Outreach. With the refreshed positioning on Sales Hub, it’s time to evaluate and update your GTM strategy. Why?
Boost rep productivity by customizing the record page view by team. Build custom cards with 8 available CRM data components to visualize your data and keep your teams within HubSpot like:
Monitor account revenue: use the report component to display a revenue report by quarter to easily see trends over time
Filter associated contacts: use the association table component to create a filtered view of associated contacts who were created in the last 30 days and have an email
Visualize deal/ticket pipeline stage: use the stage tracker component to visually show what pipeline stage a deal or ticket is in and how long it's been in that stage
Actions extensibility in CRM data components
Why?
Trigger actions on the CRM record page from custom cards including weblinks, HubSpot-defined actions, and custom actions. Customers can:
Override the default 'preview' button in association tables to open a web link
Run a health check using a playbook by clicking a button in the top right of a custom card

Why?
A new editor which allows admins to customize the middle column of a record all in one place, including adding tabs to the record page (sales/srv ent) and adding/creating new card types.
Preparing for Demand of CRM customization services
At IN23 we launched a series of product updates that grant businesses increased flexibility over their data in HubSpot.
These product updates are collectively being called “CRM customization” - and are largely related to how a business represents their data model in HubSpot.
These updates are going to increase the demand for customization and grow the number of customers that will need additional services to help them with this.
