Family Hierarchy is described as the desired and
necessary structure that is required for a family.
It helps us to understand the structure of the family and
how the subsystems within the family help to regulate the
decisions made.
Generally Parents posses greater power and authority
than their children.

as the degree of intergenerational
boundaries between parents and
offspring, reflecting the power
structure.

which the parents possess greater
power and authority than do their
children. Within a family hierarchy, there
are three distinct subsystems that
