This past weekend witnessed a trifecta of momentous anniversaries. Katrina happened 5 years ago,
Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his I Have a Dream Speech on the Washington Mall 47 years ago,
and Mother Teresa was born a century ago.
Monday: Katrina; Tuesday: I Have a Dream; Today: Mother Teresa
After spending a great deal of time on and devoting a good deal of space to the two previous subjects
in this series on recent anniversaries, 2005 s devastating Hurricane Katrina and the world changing
1963 I Have a Dream speech by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I had looked forward to writing an
innocuous, little piece on one of the two saints I have ever known.
Pope John Paul II was one, Mother Teresa was the other.
Not that I personally met with either the pope or the Catholic nun Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu, later to be
known as Mother Teresa, but I felt that a few words commemorating the anniversary of her birth in
Shkoder, Albania on August 26th, 1910 were in order.
Agnes middle name, Gonxha, meaning Rosebud, may be somewhat difficult to pronounce in English

The Battle Of The Second Triumvirate
The Battle of Philippi was the last fought battle of the wars of the second Triumvirate. These wars
were a fight between the forces of Marc Antony and Octavian of the Second Triumvirate, and the
forces of Marcus Junius Brutus and Gaius Cassius Longinus. Brutus and Cassius were the
assassinators of Julius Caesar, Marc Antony and Octavian were very close allies with Julius Caesar
and Octavian would become the heir to his throne after the assassination. Because of this, Marc
Antony and Octavian would wage a war against Brutus and Cassius to avenge their ally Julius Caesar.

With the arrival of Republican admiral Gnaeus Domitus Ahenobarbus, communications back to Italy
were made very difficult because of the large fleet of ships that he brought with him which blockaded
the triumvirate. These fleets of the Liberators did not wish to engage in a physical battle with the

too soft of a general. Although he had little successful battle victories in Thrace and Lycia, he had
always been judged as being lacking in authority when it came to the generalship of his troops.

Choosing The Brain
The world is filled with disease, impacting much of humanity. While there have been a lot of studies
centered upon physical health, within the last two decades much of the research has narrowed its focus
on how exercise impacts the body s overall health, especially the brain. This paper confirms that
exercise can have a transforming effect on the brain, which, in turn, can have a positive effect on
overall health, especially in the areas of stress and aging.

In perusing the options available for this course s book review, I choose SPARK: THE

As an example from The Drummer Boy of Shiloh by Ray Bradbury, In the April night, more than
once, blossoms fell from the orchard trees and lit with rustling tops on the drumskin. At Midnight a
peach stone left miraculously on a branch through winter flickered by a bird, fell swift and unseen.
Struck once like panic, which jerked the boy upright (Bradbury 318). Already stated from the text is

with numbers involved. So this tells the reader what was going on and does not have any made up

The Piano is the story of a woman an artist, who is the victim of society. Ada McGrath, the mute
pianist, who is already the mother of a little girl, is married to a man who she has never seen. She is
dropped at the coast of New Zealand unwillingly and spends the night in the little hut she and her
daughter had made. Next morning, her husband and his men come to take them home. She has her
piano with her too but that is not carried as her husband claims they do not have enough men as she
had a bunch of suitcases with them already. One thing to be noted is that when Ada McGrath appeared

The United States Court of appeals ruled that the suppressed evidence is purely impeaching evidence
and no defense request has been made, the suppressed evidence is material only if its introduction

impact that Phelps statement had on the jury s assessment of Phillips credibility, Maddox could not
demonstrate that so the evidence probably would have resulted in an acquittal. Also, the evidence was
