improvement by using UPQC The UPQC is controlled to regulate the WF terminal voltage, and to
mitigate voltage fluctuations at the point of common coupling (PCC), caused by system load
changes and pulsating WF generated power, respectively. In order to reduce the voltage fluctuations
that may cause flicker , and improve WF terminal voltage regulation, several solutions have been
posed. The voltage regulation at WF terminal is conducted using the UPQC series converter, by
voltage injection in phase with PCC voltage. On the other hand, the shunt converter is used to filter
the WF generated power to prevent voltage fluctuations, requiring active and reactive power
handling capability. The sharing of active power between converters is managed through the
common DC link. A customized internal fuzzy logic control scheme of the UPQC device was
developed to regulate the voltage in the WF terminals, and to mitigate voltage fluctuations at grid
side. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed compensation strategy for the
enhancement of Power Quality.

Black Friday History
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, where it is the beginning of the
traditional Christmas shopping season. Since Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in
November in the United States, Black Friday may be as early as the 23rd and as late as the
29th of November. More recently, there is new understanding that the term originates from the
theory that retailers traditionally operated at a financial loss for most of the year (January through
November) and made their profit during the holiday season. When this would be recorded in the
financial records, accounting practices would use red ink to show negative amounts and black ink

Mary Jane And The Wilks Girls
For every single smile of a child and my little brothers.
Once upon a time in a small town, three sad sisters, who had lost their father. Their names were
Joanna, Susan and Mary Jane, the Wilks girls. Joanna was known by her harelips, Susan was pretty,
but not prettier than the oldest sister Mary Jane with all that red hair.
They were waiting for their two uncles from England, William and Harvey. Uncle William was
deaf and dumb, while Uncle Harvey was a minister.
The sisters had not seen their uncles before, all they knew about them were what was written on
letters. Peter Wilks, the girls dad, wrote good things about his brothers.
Someday a crowd gathered before the Wilks home to watch Wilks s three nieces tearfully greet
Peter s brothers. Everybody was excited about something new in the small town.
With the arrival, Mary Jane and Susan ran to their uncles arms. With them, there was a young boy
called Adolphus, who was their servant. However, Joanna realized something strange when she
talked with Adolphus. She was the youngest, but none of the others sisters could beat her smartness.
Mary Jane took care of everything to make sure that her uncles would feel comfortable and at
home. She treated them with care and zeal, cooking delicious meals.
During a dinner, Uncle Harvey read the letter his brother had left. There, was written that six
thousand dollars were in the basement and many properties were given to Peter s brothers
