2. ANCIENT EGYPT CIVILISATION
• The Ancient Egyptian civilization can only be defined as a twilight zone where the mind and the soul are trapped in a
work of sci-fi or an enchanting fairytale filled with immortal puzzles and heavenly wonders. Under the mythological
sands of Egypt lies some of history's most unsolved mysteries that keep challenging the concepts of reason & reality
till our current day. Egypt is one of the most researched ancient cultures as for the last two centuries it has been the
obsession of countless historians and archaeologists. Their culture and technology is a gift that keeps on giving as a
lot of mysteries remain unsolved, every time an archaeological discovery is made in the magical destination of Egypt
like Luxor & Aswan, an infinite number of unanswered questions keep popping up. For the last 1000 years,
researchers have explored this 4 millennia-year-old civilization across vast deserts to uncover the secret of their
immortality using Modern science and some artifacts like the Rosetta stone which were able to give explanations and
answers but some mysteries remain unsolved.

5. • Global Phenomenon: Pyramids were constructed by various ancient
cultures worldwide, including Egypt, China, Pre-Incas, Incas,
Aztecs, Mayas, showcasing a global phenomenon.
• Purpose Ambiguity: The true purpose of pyramids remains a
mystery, with speculation about their use as tombs, monuments for
gods, or harnessing natural energy from the planet and universe.
• Enduring Structures: Pyramids constructed by ancient civilizations,
such as those in Egypt, still stand today, challenging our
understanding of these remarkable civilizations.
• Alignment with Astronomy: Some pyramids, like those on the Giza
plateau, are aligned astronomically, adding to the mystery and
complexity surrounding their construction and purpose.
• Unsolved Mysteries: Despite efforts to understand the fundamental
principles behind pyramid construction, the methods and true
purposes behind these structures remain unknown, adding to the
intrigue of ancient civilizations.
Why did ancient civilizations construct pyramids all over the
world?

8. The pyramids and their celestial connection
• There is a certain celestial connection existent among the Giza Pyramids. Does it reveal an interaction with
“beings come from heaven”? The same pattern can also be found in the pyramids of Xian. Without doubt,
it is more than a simple coincidence.
• The fact that the cultures and civilizations of the world would construct monuments is something
fascinating and the fact that nearly all of them share architectural similarities is simply amazing, but we
cannot forget the celestial connection that the majority of them also share.
• If we focus on the pyramids of the Giza plateau, the pyramids of Teotihuacan and even the Chinese
pyramids, we will discover that all of them seem to be aligned particularly to the constellations. In this case
we are speaking of the constellation of Orion, which apparently was of highest importance not only for the
ancient Egyptians, but also for the ancient Aztecs and their predecessors, ancient China, and other
civilizations of the world. How they were able to position these monuments with such precision in order to
imitate the cosmos is something that no one has been able to comprehend, and it remains as one of the
great enigmas of history.

11. ORION CORRELATION THEORY
• The Orion correlation theory is a fringe theory in Egyptology attempting to explain the arrangement of
the Giza pyramid complex.
• It posits that there is a correlation between the location of the three largest pyramids of the Giza pyramid
complex and Orion's Belt of the constellation Orion, and that this correlation was intended as such by the
original builders of the Giza pyramid complex. The stars of Orion were associated with Osiris, the god of
rebirth and afterlife by the ancient Egyptians. Depending on the version of the idea, additional pyramids
can be included to complete the picture of the Orion constellation, and the Nile river can be included to
match with the Milky Way.
• The idea was first published in 1989 in Discussions in Egyptology, volume 13. It was the subject of the
book The Orion Mystery, in 1994, as well as a BBC documentary, The Great Pyramid: Gateway to the
Stars (February 1994), and appears in some New Age books.

14. How were the pyramids of Egypt built?
• Pyramid of Khufu Construction:
• Comprised 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing 2.5 to
16 tons.
• Blocks sourced from Aswan, 500 miles away from Giza.
• Mystery: How were such massive pyramids built without
simple machines like the wheel?
• Transporting Blocks:
• Lack of wheels in ancient Egypt until 1500 BCE due to
unsuitable sandy terrain.
• Theory: Blocks transported on sleds over wet sand to
reduce friction.
• Evidence from tomb painting depicting men dragging a
statue on a sled with water poured on sand.
• Lifting Blocks into Place:
• Quarry ramp discovered for pulling blocks uphill.
• Unknown if similar ramps used on pyramid sides.
• Lack of clarity on the exact lifting system.
• Theories include external ramps spiraling up, straight and
long ramps, or internal ramps within the pyramid.
15. • Unsolved Challenges:
• No conclusive archaeological evidence for any
specific theory.
• Mystery persists around how 16-ton blocks were
moved up ramps.
• Theories range from sleds to wooden rollers to
polygonal block shapes with attached wooden posts.
• Overall Enigma:
• Despite numerous theories, the construction of
ancient Egyptian pyramids remains a fascinating
enigma.
• Lack of hard evidence adds to the intrigue, making it
a perpetual mystery in the study of ancient
monumental complexes.

18. WHAT’S INSIDE THE MYSTERIOUS CAVITIES INSIDE THE
PYRAMID OF KHUFU?
1. **Discovery Inside Pyramid of Khufu:**
- In 2017, Scan Pyramids used muon-tomography, a non-invasive
technique.
- Muon-tomography uses cosmic rays for 3D imaging, penetrating
deeper than X-rays.
- Unearthed two previously unknown voids inside the Pyramid of
Khufu.
2. **Characteristics of the Voids:**
- Small void on the north face, about 15 feet long, possibly a
passageway.
- Significant discovery of a 100-foot-long void above the Grand
Gallery.
- Purpose of the larger chamber remains unknown—horizontal or
sloping, possibly composed of smaller rooms.
19. • Speculations on the Larger Chamber:
• Unlikely to be a burial chamber.
• Could be a second Grand Gallery or hold engineering
secrets of pyramid construction.
• Similar chamber in the Bent Pyramid (Snefru's
pyramid) believed to reduce masonry weight above.
• Future Plans by Scan Pyramids:
• Scan Pyramids aims to scan more pyramids, including
the Pyramid of Khafre (Egypt’s second-largest).
• Possibility of revealing additional secrets about
ancient Egypt’s monuments through muon-
tomography.
• Awaiting Unveiling:
• Ongoing exploration may provide more insights into
the purpose and structure of these mysterious
cavities.
• Muon-tomography offers a promising tool for
unraveling hidden secrets within ancient Egyptian
pyramids.

22. WHY DID THE EGYPTIANS STOP BUILDING PYRAMIDS?
• Timeline of Pyramid Construction:
• Last royal pyramid built around 1500 BCE.
• Wealthy individuals occasionally buried near
pyramids, but pharaohs shifted to the Valley of Kings
near Thebes after this period.
• Theories on Abandonment:
• Religious Changes: Around 1500 BCE, a shift to
underground tomb burials in bedrock due to
religious changes.
• Landscape Considerations: Thebes, the new capital,
had rocky and rugged terrain, unsuitable for massive
pyramid construction.
• Tomb Robbing Concerns:
• Increased risk of tomb robbery with conspicuous
pyramid burials.
• Valley of the Kings offered a complex landscape for
hidden rock-cut tombs, reducing the chance of
looting
23. • Peter James' Theory:
• Extreme temperature fluctuations in the
Egyptian desert caused limestone expansion
and contraction.
• Bent Pyramid, with gaps between blocks, better
preserved than Giza Pyramids with tightly
aligned blocks.
• The visible and rapid destruction of perfectly
aligned Giza Pyramids' casing may have led to
the abandonment of pyramid construction for
burials.
• Implications of Perfection Loss:
• Pharaohs might have abandoned pyramid
burials after witnessing the rapid disintegration
of their perfect monuments.
• Shift to alternative burial practices, such as
hidden rock-cut tombs, in response to
environmental challenges.
