Thì hiện tại đơn được dùng để diễn tả một hành động chung chung; 1 thói quen lặp đi lặp lại nhiều lần trong cuộc sống; một chân lý, sự thật hiển nhiên hoặc một hành động được diễn ra trong thời điểm hiện tại.
