most plants and animals. Regulating the levels of hydrogen peroxide is crucial in
homeostasis and analyzing it s optimal conditions for performance is just as
important. To understand the optimal environment for this enzyme, they are put into
different environments based off protein activity (enzymes are proteins). Catalase
samples will be put into different hydrogen peroxide environments based off pH and
temperature. The more active the enzyme, the more oxygen and water it will
produce. Enzyme activity can be seen through the release of oxygen in the hydrogen
peroxide. Since oxygen cannot be accurately measured, the data will consist of the
longevity of the reaction in different environments. If the pH is higher than 7, then
the reaction rate will increase due to the ample amount of hydrogen ions in the
hydrogen peroxide. However the pH level cannot be higher than 10 or else there will
be too many hydrogen atoms in the peroxide for the enzyme to be able to deconstruct
them. If the temperature is increased, then the reaction rate will increase due to the
ample amount of energy and movement in the hydrogen peroxide and enzyme.

bottle, Kim wipes. Upon gathering, we set the Lab data sheet, COC sheet, pencil, and
calculator.
We draw a sample solution from the churn splitter (after thoroughly mixed) into a
(250 ml) plastic sample container and closed the lid. Rinsed Oakton meter with DI
water. Set the meter for pH (USA) unit and calibrated with a pH buffer standard
solution (4.0. 7.0, 10.0), followed by rinsing with DI water. The meter soaked into
plastic sample container and measured the pH, at the same time took the temperature
reading in (FВ°) and TDS reading in (PPM) of the sample, followed by rinsing with
DI water.

October 23, 2012 and Sharmeka suffered from third degree burns and had to go

Taking a Look at Humanistic Psychology
Humanistic psychology is refereed as the 3rd force in psychology it was an
alternative to psychoanalysis and behaviourism. Humanistic psychology was instead
focused on each individual s potential and stressed the importance of growth and self
actualization. A fundamental belief that people are born good but that this can be
distorted through social interactions and life experiences. In this essay I plan to
explain Carl Rogerss theories of person centred and how I have linked them to
myself. Carl Rogers stated that there was many key aspects which make up a person

valuing process a fundamental concept within humanistic psychology. A tendency to
automatically pick, work towards and search for situations which fit into our
inborn aspirations in order to lead a gratifying life. A biologically driven process

force which drives us to enhance and meet our maximum full potential physically,
spiritually and emotionally. The actualising tendency can never be destroyed only

Oedipus the King is a dramatic tragedy written by Sophocles in the 5th century
B.C.E. Oedipus the main character in Sophocles tragedy Oedipus the King
possesses idyllic personality traits, however he will become known as the ultimate
tragic hero. A tragic hero is a literary character in a dramatic tragedy who is destined
for downfall, suffering or defeat; making an error in judgment or has a fatal flaw that
combined with fate and external forces brings on tragedy. Oedipusdisplays all of the
traits necessary to become a tragic hero. He was of noble birth being born to Laios
and Jokasta King and Queen of Thebes. Oedipus also possess tragic flaws or
hamartia which is a mistake that causes the downfall of a character; not in relation
to bad deeds or evil character; not the fault of the protagonist; victim of fate, which
leads to his eventual downfall. Additionally Oedipus has a significant amount of
increased of self awareness throughout his journey, realizing he was in fact the
killer of Laios as one example. The readers also feel pity and are fearful for Oedipus
