Jerks Is An Original Dark Comedy
HYPNIC JERKS is an original dark comedy/horror script that features a very likable protagonist
with a very intriguing sleep disorder. The idea of hypnic jerks is very refreshing as a flaw and it
s a disorder not often talked about. It s nice to see it in the script. The tone combines dark comedy
with horror elements. The script explores themes about life choices and destiny. The script offers a
couple of nice twists.
The highlight is the main character of Ray. He s a charming, yet troubled man, but one can t help
but like him and his dog, Bonham. Equally likable and intriguing is Ambrosia.
As much as one enjoys the characters, the script would benefit from more development in the areas
of structure and plot.
The main concern about the presentation is the lack of a well identifiable goal for Ray. The
plotline isn t entirely clear. Ray transforms himself into a vampire, which appears to be motivated
by the idea of the Vampire Festival, but that doesn t feel like a strong enough motivation.
In addition, the link between Ray transforming into a vampire and his sleep disorder isn t
entirely well connected. He s trying to write, but this too, unfortunately never feels like Ray s
true, actionable goal. Now, if Ray were trying to write about vampires and felt he needed to live
his life like a vampire to help him write to make the world more believable, this would connect his
behavior to his objective.
In addition, there s a subplot about women being stalked and then

The Role Of Journalism And Democracy And What Is The Most...
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF JOURNALISM IN DEMOCRACY AND WHAT IS THE MOST
POWERFUL CURRENT THREAT TO THAT ROLE?
Journalism and democracy are arguably inextricably intertwined concepts, each having a vital role
in the effective function of the other. Democracy as a term and an inherent notion finds it origins
from Ancient Greece with the term being derived from the Ancient Greek words demos people and
kratia power (The Daily Miracle: An Intriduction to JOuranlism p. 45). Traditionally, journalism
has been considered to play an integral role as somewhat of a gatekeeper of democracy by
promoting and upholding the democratic societal values upon which countries such as Australia
have been built. This role was first classified as the Fourth ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Accordingly, arguably the most powerful threat to Four Corners role in promoting and upholding
democracy in Australia is the Executive s constant threats to cut network funding. This can be
explored through looking through the lense of the libertarian and social responsibility arms of the
theory of the press developed by Fred Siebert, Theodore Peterson and Wilbur Schramm (whatever
the book is (1956)) and the propaganda model developed by Herman and Chomsky (Manufacturing
Consent, 1988).
Cutting funding threatens the ABC s and thus Four Corners ability to uphold the values of
democracy in Australia on the basis of the libertarian model of the theory of the press
This is on the basis that the loss of 400 jobs and funding to the ABC (http://about.abc.net.au/our

important roles to produce quality investigative reports that serve the public interest. The
libertarian model is one of the four facets of the theory of the press developed by Fred Siebert,

Challenges Of Air Freight Demand And Potential Solutions...
Challenges in Air Freight Demand and Potential Solutions
1.Introduction
Air freight market is not stable and might be weak because of uncertain international trade increase
(Barnard,2015). There was fluctuation in air cargo demand over the last 10 years from 2006 to
2016 which indicates that cargo demand could be changed by some external and internal influences.
Some figures were released about worldwide air freight market and presented that air cargo
capacity increased 2.2%, comparing to 2014. While this was the 5% growth calculated by The
International Air TransportAssociation (IATA), the growth of cargo volumes in 2015 was much
slower than 2014(Barnard, 2015). However, some experts pointed out that global air freight market
get a positive growth from 2011, and it is enjoying a relatively steady growth, due to the enhanced
trade and economic recovery after the global financial crisis of 2008(Huang,2016). Because of
sluggish world trade growth, air cargo suppliers face a lot of challenges including alternative
transportation, perspective uncertainty and unexpected policy and here are some potential
solutions: improving customers service, efficiency, security and reducing negative environmental
impacts.
This essay attempts to describe current air freight market conditions, challenges in air freight
demand and generate potential solutions to increase air cargo demand. It is divided into four parts:
air freight, current demand for air freight, challenges, and potential

Severity Of Xenophobia
Understanding the Severity of Xenophobia in Singapore In 2016, it was reported that
foreigners make up 40% of the Singapore s population and is projected to increase to 50% by
2030. The influx of foreigners has caused Singaporeans to fear or hate foreigners even more. In
other words, Singaporeans are becoming increasingly xenophobic. This is evident in the
increase of xenophobic acts or events like the Hong Lim Park protest and Philippine
Independence Day. Undeniably, xenophobia is a contemporary social issue in Singapore. Hence,
it is important for us to understand the severity of xenophobia in Singapore to come out with
appropriate solutions to combat xenophobia. Xenophobia in Singapore Xenophobia was made
known to Singapore in the General Elections of 2011. Foreign influx was one of the hot button
issues of the general elections, which pertains to the government s liberal immigration and
foreign worker policy. Singaporeans believe that the influx of foreigners was the cause of
overcrowding, rising property prices and unfair job opportunities for the locals. As foreigners were
blamed for creating the major problems of Singapore, it has resulted in tension between
Singaporeans and foreigners. This local foreign divide is evident in 2012, whereas a Chinese...

From the examples shown above, it can be observed that the xenophobic attacks that happen in
Singapore are mostly online postings and criticisms on foreigners. When compared to other
countries that are also facing xenophobia, the severity of xenophobia in Singapore is quite low. For
example, xenophobia in South Africa has resulted in outbreaks of violent attacks among its people,
causing many tragedies and death which affect South Africa severely socially and economically.
Whereas in Singapore s case, there has not been any actual violent outbreaks; the xenophobic
attacks in Singapore happen only

Timothy Findley s The Wars
Timothy Findley s The Wars portrays the effects of war on soldiers in battle, as well as the
members of family and friends that suffer from loss and insanity. As each character over the
progression of the story is exposed to change, the character s ability to adapt has a significant
correlation with their survival, those that can quickly adapt to survive can manage to get by.
Soldiers must be able to suppress the extreme stress on the battlefield. Those that cannot overcome
these challenges do not survive in war. Murder is quickly pushed out of a soldiers mind, killing
others in effort to protect their own life or the life of others around them. Findley demonstrates how
war can negatively alter a person s behaviour. This is seen through... Show more content on

Ross s seclusion from the rest of her family. Findley writes, All she wanted was to sit in the
corner of the room and watch the door for Robert s return (Findley 69). Findley depicts the effects
on everyone in society, such as how a parent loses their child to war, and how society conforms to
the changes of war.
War is constant in human history. War is a continually reoccurring conflict over time. It spans
different locations over varying different circumstances, whereas the effects of war remain the
same. Insanity, madness, loss of innocence, seclusion, anguish, violence, and decreasing mental
health are all by products of war. Findley accurately depicts these cases through the use of his
many characters. Robert s exposure to violence leaves him in a fragile state. His behaviour can
be seen as increasingly violent and shows his decreasing mental health. This declining mental
health may be due to his lack of sleep. Sleep was dangerous. No matter what your mind said,
your body doesn t listen. Part of you always stayed awake. Nobody dreams on a battlefield. There
isn t any sleep that long (Findley 93). Highlighted throughout many examples, Robert portrays
symptoms of what is known today as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Findley states, His temper,
you know, was terrible. Once when he thought he was alone and unobserved I saw him firing his
gun in the woods at a young tree. Other times he would throw things or break them on the

Artemisia Gentileschi s Esther Before Ahasuerus
Artemisia Gentileschi s Esther before Ahasuerus depicts the biblical scene of Esther going before
the King of Persia unsummoned to plead for a request. The Visual Element/Principles of Design
that stood out were line, tonal value, color, texture, emphasis, and unity/variety. The dominant
visual element that stands out in this Gentileschi piece is emphasis/focal point. It is clear that she
wants the viewers eyes to be drawn to Esther. She accomplishes this first through tonal value.
Gentileschi uses chiaroscuro to illuminate Esther s face and causes her to be the focal point of the
piece. Esther is also emphasized through implied line. The king and ladies eyes direct the viewer
towards Esther. The asymmetric balance also accentuates Esther.

Abstract: As humans advanced in technology, manmade and natural disasters are increasing
exponentially. One of the most dangerous is the forest fire. Forest fire destroys trees which give
us oxygen and it is very difficult to stop a forest fire spreading if it is not detected early. Our
method is to detect the forest fire as early as possible and also predict the forest fire in advance
so that prompt action can be taken before the fire destroys and spreads over a large area. We also
find the rate of spread of fire in all direction so that necessary action can be initiated. The other
problems are deforestation where humans cut the trees from restricted areas and so the wild
animals from the forest enter the human habitation and cause problems. In this paper we discuss
the solutions to overcome these problems.

The next function of mise en scene is revealing the characters. After we get a look around the school

represents joy, passion, and sensitivity. The next student, Andrew, is wearing a dark blue and gray
varsity jacket with light blue jeans. On the color wheel, dark blue represents knowledge, power, and
seriousness while light blue represents health, healing, and understanding.
Next is Brian. He is wearing a dark green with khaki pants. The color wheel shows that dark

The Priceless Treasure By Peggy Bacon
In the illustration The Priceless Find (Antique Shop) , the artist Peggy Bacon is satirizing the
idea of an antique by both emphasizing the idea of beauty and rarity which is considered
directly with an antique as well as point out the literal definition of an antique . The artwork,
created in 1943, was made in a time where America was preoccupied World War II. This
historical detail allows the viewer furthermore to understating the reason why Bacon chose to
point out the absurdity of antiques. Before we can look at Bacon s message, I must first state
why the artwork is a humorous account of a real life event. This illustration was created two
years after Peggy Bacon divorced her husband Alexander Brooks (Meng, 18). Though it could be
plausible that the antique shop could symbolize of her broken marriage, argued with crackled

was documented in an interview to never create scenes and caricatures but simply draw from her

why the artwork is a satirical representation of the real scene, I derived this from both Bacons love
of satire created during her studies at the Arts Student League and from an excerpt taken from an

heighten the absurdity of its quality (Meng, 18). Though plausible this could

The United States Supreme Court
Acclaim for asserting the United States Supreme Court as a substantial participant in the American
structure of government has been ascribed to the guidance of John Marshall as Chief Justice of the
United States Supreme Court from 1801 to 1835. By 1835, the Supreme Court had attained a level
of equality with the prowess and prestige as that of Congress and the Executive that was not present
before John Marshall was appointed to the position. Central to this development was the Court s
adoption of the Constitution as its distinct reserve. Chief Justice John Marshall utilized judicial
review to eliminate the Supreme Court from the socio political conflicts in government and to
institute the rule of law based on the principles established in the Constitution of the Unites States.
Marshall and his colleagues erected the Court s recognized power by effectively affirming an
assertion to explain the Constitution and subsequently supplant the Constitution as supreme law in
the commonplace sequence of arbitration and by the end of his judgeship firmly supplanted the
Supreme Court s role in the U.S. system of government. John James Marshall came into this world
on September 24, 1755 in a small cabin built of logs near a small rural community in Virginia
known as Germantown. John was the first son born to Thomas Marshall and Mary Keith. His
mother and father went on to have fifteen children giving John eight sisters and six brothers.1 In the

Baumol Model Of Cash Management
It was developed by William J. Baumol. The model helps determine a firm s optimum cash balance
under certainty. It is used for cash management. The model helps firms determine the optimum cash
balances that they can keep by considering costs. The costs involved are holding costs (opportunity
costs) and the transactional costs.
Transactional costs are the costs incurred when changing between marketable security and cash.
Holding costs are costs incurred when keeping cash. Opportunity costs are the costs incurred when
the firm chooses to keep cash instead of buying securities. It is also known as interest rate because
it is the interest rate that are foregone by the firm by not investing in marketable securities.
Just like all most model, the Baumol model works with assumptions. The first assumption is that
the firm must be able to forecast its cash requirements and receive a specific flow of cash at
regular intervals. Its cash flows must be certain. The other assumption is that the firm must be able
to change to change the securities that it owns into cash keeping the variable and fixed costs of
transactions the same. The firm must also be aware of it opportunity cost when holding cash. The
opportunity cost should stay constant for a long period of time.

The Decision Making Is Defined As A Cognitive Process
Forum 2: Original post Decision Making In life individuals are faced with a continuous flow of
decisions to be made and problems to be solved. Decision making is defined as a cognitive
process in which a choice is developed regarding a belief or course of action from among two or
more alternatives (Robbins Judge, 2009). Individuals compose decisions as a reaction to a
problem, a perceived deviation linking the present condition and a desired condition (Robbins,
2009). For example, in the radiation oncology field, multiple devices are used to make treatments
more accurate, reproducible, and elevate patient comfort. These devices are used frequently so
they quickly become worn. They must be checked periodically to ensure structural stability and
compliance with infectious control regulations. Employees are given the task of examining the
devices, making decisions regarding the condition of the devices, and reporting what needs to be
replaced. Managers and employees must keep in mind that incessant replacement of these devices
is costly and can cause interruptions in patient care. Managers and employees should compose
optimal decisions regarding the care and replacement of such devices in order to be effective,
efficient, and productive. Rational Decision Making Model One process discussed in
organizational behavior for decision making is the Rational Decision Making Model. This model
employs six steps for decision making: 1.Interpret the problem. 2.Determine the decision

Essay Exploring John Mill s Harm Principle
Freedom is a necessary principle to abide by in order for the human race to function. On the other
hand, freedom can be taken advantage of, thus resulting in harmful consequences to those directly
and indirectly involved. The article, On Liberty by John S. Mills, places emphasis on the
functioning of individual libertyand its co existence with society. Mills stresses the limits of
individual liberty through what is famously known as his Harm Principle: the only purpose for
which power may be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his
will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not a sufficient
warrant (Cahn). With special consideration placed on drug use and free... Show more content on

This leads to an increase in criminal activity such as neglect of familial duties, robberies to fund
their dependency, and violence to defend their habits. The drugee becomes a nuisance to society.
Some become homeless and exhibit poor health habits such as malnutrition and tooth decay. Other
negative effects include the transference of diseases because of needle sharing. Though drug use
is a personal choice, the effects on the rest of society are undeniable. The best intentions are
formulated on a personal level, but this is overcastted by its negative effects. This argument,
however, is a bit one sided because the reason for using and dependency varies between users.
In pre modern times, drugs took on a role of medicinal use. As they were distributed in a free
market without any constraints, Opium was recommended for sleepless nights, Cocaine for
anesthesia, Hashish for relaxation (Hart, Ksir Ray). These drugs were not dubbed as harmful,
therefore, under the appropriate circumstances, provided beneficial effects to its users. More
recently, individuals are more inclined to use drugs as an escape . Stimulants provide a sort of
alternate existence which tends to reduce mental tension, increase energy, or induce euphoria (Hart,
Ksir Ray). Argumentatively speaking, drug use only affects the user, so there is no valid reasoning
for impairing the freedom of citizens by prohibiting them. Individuals benefit by having the freedom

Discrimination can appear at the time of recruitment, or at work, with regard to working conditions
such as work hour, leave, pay, training; and dismissal, termination, retirement or discrimination to
customers. It is also important to not only to have clear guiding policy that indicates the
commitment of the organization to provide equal employment opportunity for anyone who applied
for a job but also endeavors to implement it. Adamson attempting to threaten to fire anyone who
discriminated is a strategy on itself to implement his policy.
However, there is sill more work to do, there is sill some discrimination lawsuits that Denny s
face. However, I do not think it is an indication that Denny s new policies and practices are not
working. The policies and practices are super, but I think, Denny s didn t do great job addressing
the public that it has been improving in managing diversity. The public image of Denny s is still
associated with their 1990s lawsuits, where they accusing of civil rights violations, primarily

fact that Denny s had only one African American franchisee and had no minority suppliers.
However, that is not true now. They need to let the public know that Denny s not only increased
the number of minority employees, but also increased franchise owners to 120 and increased its

Jackson s removal policy did not sit well with a lot of groups; many were uncomfortable about it
but agreed it had to be done. President Jackson showed great leadership apart from everything
else, and handled the Indian Removal act when no one else wanted to address the growing issue of
Indian problem. Most government officials saw little to gain from addressing this and would do
nothing. Some historians believe the president s motivation was clearly out of concern for the
Indians customs, their culture and their language, but his first concern was the safety of the
military, Indians occupying the east might jeopardize the defense of the United States. In
December of 1830 President Jackson would submitted the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek to
congress, it would be the first to win Senate approval. President Jackson wanted everything to go
smoothly so that the American people would see that he was humane and that this Treaty would
benefit both the Indians and the American nation at large. With Jackson located too far away to
oversee the actual removal of the Choctaw Nation, they would endure mismanagement, theft,
corruption, and inefficiency on a level that would lead to their destruction. Jackson would be
deeply offended and the removal of the Choctaw Nation would become one of the worse horror

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
The author of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time, Mark Hadden, was a genius to
write this book from Christopher s point of view. Writing the book in third person would defeat
the point of the book which is to let us see the world through the eyes of Christopher. The books
main plot is very basic and the mystery pretty easy to figure out. Hadden wants us to see
Christopher s way of thinking and interacting though an event that people without his disease may
think of as straight forward. Another aspect the reader would miss out on are the chapters that
diverge from the main plot line showing his logical way of thinking. The powerful meaning behind
the novel all comes from the use of first person. First, letting the reader... Show more content on

and just wanted to go home. In the following chapter, which is one that diverges from the main
plot, the line And what he meant was that maths wasn t like life because in life there are no
straightforward answers at the end relates to the previous chapter because of the unpredicted
events Christopher just faced. Lastly, in chapter 167 Christopher s father confesses to killing
Wellington after apologizing for lying about his mother because he doesn t want any more
secrets. In third person we would see he is clearly outraged at his father. In first person we get
more in depth into his feelings, we learn how he rationales that his father is going to kill him
next which lead to the final chapters in the book. In third person we could have foreseen these
events but through Christopher s logical mind we get lost in following his more in depth,
unpredicted, and emotional path to the answer. To sum it all up, first person was the obvious
choice for this book because of the real story Haddon was portraying. The story let us get inside

observations, and his interactions we get to experience the life of someone with this disease. In

Washington Dc And How The Location Of Howard University
After I obtain my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, I would like to go to medical school. I
ve always wanted to attend Howard College of Medicine. Primarily, because of the program they
have there and the fact that they focus on serving underserved communities. With that, I also really
love the location of the school. Howard University is located in the District of Columbia, our nation
s capital. I m going to discuss WashingtonDC and how the location of Howard University plays a
role in the school s significance. Washington DC is located on the east coast of the United
States, sandwiched between two states, Maryland and Virginia. The city itself is only 68.3
square miles big. The elevation is 0 ft. above sea level at its lowest point and 410 ft. above sea

by earthquakes. The nearest fault line is west of the city which runs through Virginia and Maryland.
Most times when DC experience s earthquakes it s because of that.
The District of Columbia is essentially located on the Potomac River. The Potomac River is a
river that s about 405 miles long and it flows into the Chesapeake Bay. Also the Anacostia River

A Rhetorical Analysis For Geico
Rhetorical Analysis for GEICO Victor Gatdula EGL 112 Rhetorical Analysis for GEICO The
GEICO, Pinocchio as a Motivational Speaker commercial advertisement, is possibly of one of
the most memorable advertisements that GEICO made for their current ad campaign. The main
aim of the ad is convincing the public that moving from their original car insurance company to
GEICO will save them 15% on the insurance and as well as to saturate the airwaves with their
funny and catchy advertisements (Wikipedia, 2014). Despite the fact that the ad is eye catching, it
has very many flaws. Firstly, GEICO does not put any effort to assure the viewers that they will
save the 15% or more money by migrating (Creativity, 2014). Rhetorically, the advertisement just
tries to convince the viewers without providing them with any tangible evidence. The ad begins by

scenario where Pinocchio is lying and his nose magically elongates will relate to saving 15%

fifteen percent or even more on car insurance. This idea of saving fifteen percent was the only
thing the insurance company tried to prove to its audience. The insurance company is reiterating it

Essay on Apartheid in South Africa
Blacks shared the pain of Apartheid in one of the darkest periods in history. Blacks were horribly
oppressed by tyrants who obliterated their happy, healthy lives for nothing more then their own
interests. Many Laws were passed that restricted blacks from the freedoms that all people should
rightfully obtain from birth. White South Africanstook the black population by the throat, making it
hard for blacks to live as happy people. Black South Africans were held in a form of imprisonment
and could do little to fight back, causing Apartheidto be one of the darkest periods in black history.

In the 1950 s some changes occurred. The migrant labor act was abolished because the
government did not feel the need to segregate the cities as much as they did in the past. So
initially blacks were stuck on rural reserves most of the time and were being treated worse and
worse. This was called the Bantu authorities act, established 1951. On a good note, there were
people on the Black African s side from the beginning. Prime Minister Smuts wrote, quot; The idea
that natives must all be removed and confined in their kraals is in my opinion, the greatest
nonsense I have ever heard. quot; (Smuts 1) Steven Biko wrote, The government of our nation is

South Africa until the late 1900 s.
Apartheid took off in 1948 when the national party won the election. It was all downhill from
there for the blacks. In 1950 the population registration act was passed. This act classified people
as either white, black, or Bantu. The apartheid fooled other countries into believing it was a
lifting in a state of emergency. In 1951 many whites did not like the black people so a
commission was formed to set and regulate segregation laws. In 1952, Nelson Mandela and
Tambo opened the first black legal firm. This was a small step for the blacks at the time. In 1953

Personal Responsibility At A Young Age By Environmental Or...
Personal responsibility starts at a young age by environmental or parental influence. You are
either taught personal responsibility as you grow into an adult by being held accountable for your
own actions or the responsibility is taken from you. As an adult, you are responsible for every
action that you take, but before that action comes a series of thoughts that lead you to taking that
action. Depending on how you were brought up, your transition into becoming an adult can either
be an easy one or a difficult one. As an adult, the one thing that I have learned is a constant is that
you will be held accountable for your actions whether you like it or not.
Holding yourself accountable and having self discipline has a lot to do with personal responsibility
in my opinion. When you hold yourself accountable for your actions you are making a conscious
effort to be a responsible person. Every action starts with a thought, whether it s a good thought or
a bad thought, it will determine the outcome of that action. For example, when you wake up in the
morning and the first thought that comes to mind is that you will have a bad day, whether you
know it or not you are subconsciously going to make it a bad day. If you stopped that thought
when it happened and told yourself that today will be a good day you have already turned the
outcome around. By holding yourself accountable you are in control, you are not aimlessly going
through life reacting to what happens to you.

Every year in the United States of America, millions of crimes are committed that violate and harm
the individual rights, properties, and freedoms that are not only guaranteed to American citizens of
this country, but also naturally inherent to mankind as whole. Based on the founding principles of
our country, which are derived from the Constitution of these United States, justice is dealt
accordingly to the perpetrators of these crimes. While this justice is usually fair, due to certain
rights given to those who may be charged with crimes, sometimes an error is made. A simple

The 26 year old woman, on the other hand, had pointed them out and identified them as the
perpetrators. Dupree was subsequently charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one
count of rape, and put on trial. During litigation, both victims had testified that Dupree was one of
the men who carjacked them in November. Disregarding the fact that the two defendants were not
originally noticed in police lineups by the male victim, and despite the woman s repeated mixing
up of the two defendants identities in court, the jury somehow thought the defense of mistaken
identity was not possible, and thus both men were found guilty of aggravated robbery. The jury
decided to not indict Dupree on charges of abduction or rape because they had felt any further
convictions would not have been very significant; he was already given a sentence of 75 years in
prison. After the initial trial, Dupree s attempts of appealing the decision were rejected three times,
because he would not admit to being a sex offender. Throughout his time in incarceration, Dupree
maintained his innocence; even turning down two opportunities for early parole, because he would
not admit guilt and confess to a crime he did not commit. In 2006, his case was picked up by The
Texas Innocence Project, and by July of 2007, the Innocent Project team requested permission from

At the resolution, the writer does not tell the outcome of the short story either the princess has do
overcome her jealousy towards the lady, and let her have him or choose the death for the young
man because of her jealousy. Her jealousy will influence the outcome of the story.
The next theme is social status. From the beginning of the story, this theme already could be seen
when the writer narrates the atmosphere and scenery of the kingdom with the life of the people.
The social status here divides the royal family with the people. The serious relationship between
these two groups is prohibited as this will give a bad image to the royal family. That s why the
young man is being trialled in the arena as his punishment when the love between the princess and
himself has been known by the king.
Lastly, the theme that also can be interpreted in this short story is loyalty or we can said, blindly
loyal. This theme covers up mostly the part starting when the young man has been accused and
will be trialled in the arena. The young man loyal to the king s command and does not dispute or
argue about it. The people also blindly loyal to their king and no one questioned about the king s
command although they know that this is not fair for the young man.

Comparing Kreider s Essay A Man And His Cat
In the essay, A Man and His Cat, written by Tim Kreider shows his love for the cat whom he shared
his life for 19 years. He describes how a single and alone person s devotion for his cat. Also how
that nonhuman creature can fill up his home with love and his life with a feel of purpose. Kreider
describes his catas a jealous type; she is always seeking for attention. While Kreider does his work
the cat tries to grab his attention by sitting on whatever he was reading or walking back and forth
in front of him. Tim Kreider never posted pictures of his cat online or told stories about her. But
one thing that he did do was, made up dozens of nonsensical names for the cat over the years
(Kreider 152). Later, he goes into describing how he found

The Secret Scripture Analysis
Although the novel The Secret Scripture written by Sebastian Barry is constantly alternating
between past and present, the transition happens quickly and smoothly. This is due to the narrator
s use of the relationship with the past and what is happening during the present. What starts as the
present bleeds into the past through Roseanne s hidden biography. The way on page sixty, how
she is in the past remembering when her father was demoted to a rat catcher. Then page sixty one
the reader is in the present again, but it s not random. She is saying how clearly she remembers
that day. Then on that same page she jumps back to remembering how prideful her father was of his
job in the cemetery. You don t even realize that you stopped reading one recollection and have
already gone into the other. Another thing about the transition... Show more content on

life, starting from the beginning and up to the end. Only for him to wind up at the house she
was excommunicated to. Where he proceeded to find a rosebud from the bushes that she cared
for, and taking it. Roseanne s recount of her life is parallel with Dr. Greene s. Except Roseanne
s view before is read before Dr. Greene s. There is also two different stories from The Secret
Scripture . Dr. Greene is reading Fr. Gaunt s recollection of Roseanne s life. Which makes the
reader question how trustworthy Fr. Gaunt is as a source seeing as he wasn t there for half of the
events and he was also strangely obsessed with her life. Her sexuality mostly. This brings in the
question of how true any of the recollections are. Remembering the past is difficult for Roseanne.
She is constantly second guessing

The Importance Of Giftedness And Talent
The researcher observes that the DMGT differentiates between giftedness and talent in which
giftedness includes the possession and use of untrained outstanding natural abilities (called gifts),
in at least one ability domain, to a degree that places an individual at least among the top 10% of
age peers. Besides, It s clear in the figure that the natural abilities of the gifted have three domains;
intellectual domain which includes (general intelligence, numerical, verbal...), mental domain which
includes (creativity, fluency, leadership...) and physical domain which includes (perceptual, vision,
endurance, speed...) (GagnГ©, 2010).
On the other hand, Talent includes the outstanding mastery of developed competencies (knowledge
and skills) in at least one field of human activity to a degree that places an individual at least among
the top 10% of learning peers. The DMGT shows that when gifted uses his natural abilities to
interact with environment through catalysts and development processes, gifted becomes talented
with competency. Moreover, the first field of the competency is the academic field which includes
language and other fields of life such as technical, science and technology, arts, games and sports
(GagnГ©, 2010).
In sum, talent fields are related to subjects, academic activities and scientific applications in
different fields of life, including technology. Consequently, English subject and using technology
are related to talent fields. In contrast to this, giftedness

Reaction Paper About Stress
Stress is how the brain and body respond to any change that requires an adjustment or response.
Throughout our lives we have been told by our friends and family that we need to minimize our
stress and manage it before it gets too out of hand. This leads to us looking at stress as a terrible
thing that will ruin our lives. Everyone is affected by stressand it is something that is a part of our
daily lives. The key thing to remember is that stress is not always a bad thing. It has been proven
that looking at stress as a good thing rather than a bad thing can actually make you stress less.
There are two main types of stress. Eustress, which is the good stress, and distress which is the bad
stress. Dealing with the eustress is what most people will think is relatively easy as you don t
have to do anything about it and don t have to get rid of it., it s the distress that people tend to
have issues controlling. Being stressed for a long period of time can lead to a number of different
problems such as anxiety. It is important to recognize that you are stressed, figure out exactly what
is stressing you out, and then act according to what your stressor is. In order to minimize or even
get rid of your stress and anxiety, you will need to know the symptoms, common stressors, and
when, where, and how to seek professional help.
Stress and anxiety is something that can be very hard to recognize in ourselves. People tend to deny
that they are stressed, or even just mistake the symptoms

What Are Personal Afflictions That Affect The Elderly
Afflictions that affect the elderly often impair the memory, which can make it difficult to

memory issues but refuses to live in a place that could provide consistent care. For people who
aren t ready to relinquish their freedom and privacy, there are agencies that specialise in
assisting with elderly personal affairs. The individuals who work for these agencies go through

Humility In Harry Potter And The Philosopher s Stone
Barineka Nwakoh 200316467 English 110, section C09/C10 Kathryn MacLennan Essay #1
February, 9th, 2015 Harry Potter: The Humble Hero J.K.Rowling s novel Harry Potter and the
Philosopher s Stone depict Harry Potter s humility as one of its major and prevalent message
throughout the novel. Rowling does not explicitly make any direct statements about Harry s
humility although his actions directly or indirectly make his humility obvious. His journey from
childhood begins with the harsh treatment of the Dursleys which help make him even more
humble and modest and see the world from a different point of view. Harry was reluctant to
accept fame because he was humble and as a hero, he has to be humble in order to be able to

Corporations That Influence Public Art Museum
Corporations and Their Influence in Support for Public Art Museums
Statement of Intent Historically, museums have relied on four sources of financial support:
individual contributions, corporate and foundation support, earned revenues, and government
grants. This paper focuses on present day corporate support for art and the museums that collect and
display that art. It urges museums to reassess their assumptions about corporations and suggests
ways that museums can develop new approaches to align their solicitation of support with changing
corporate objectives.
Introduction As an inquiry into art and corporate culture, this capstone investigates the importance
and evolution of corporate support for the arts. A brief history of art and... Show more content on

Thus arts organizations must act to align their needs with the evolving requirements of corporate
benefactors if lasting partnerships are to be formed. Museums must position their brand to
corporations as places of value, enhancement and richness to local communities. Corporations need
to reevaluate museums as a pillar for support on par with any other social cause, with value for
society at large. With better understanding of the overlap of objectives both corporations and arts
organizations share, public museums can offer creative, outside the box thinking in seeking
corporate support. Museum development professionals can better understand the value to not only
maintain existing resources, but ways to seek new partners through innovative corporate
engagement by aligning museum programming and values with the increasingly social and
environmental causes corporations have come to identify. By observing trends in federal and
corporate funding for the arts and funding shifts, this capstone will explore why corporations who
currently support public art do so through funding and art collections, and their increasing needs for
employee engagement. Understanding the relationship history corporate America and art share, and
the wide reaches art has made in contemporary society, can offer museum advancement teams new
approaches for funding, and to aid corporations to no longer isolate

The Influence Of NASA
Have you ever looked up into the night sky and contemplated the many wonders and splendors
that abound our universe? If you have then you might have also noticed that our universe doesn
t only consist of the splendidness that we can see with our eyes alone, but with many other
mysteries that we have yet not solved. In addition, as humans it has always been our nature to be
curious and therefore, it has also been our greatest avidity to explore and discover things that are
foreign to us. For instance, to many people it has become a significant objective to go beyond
the impossible, sometimes in the pursuit to try and gain a greater perception of not only the
world we live in, but also of the things that exist around us. In addition, as people s passion to
learn about space has enlarged, many space groups and administrations have flourished. Thus
many people have began to take on the role to try and go beyond the limits of the planet we live
in, in other words, explore space. However, time has shown that in order to reach such
achievements, great amounts of money are needed. Furthermore, over the past few years the U.S
has been contributing to one of the world s largest air and spacecraft administration, otherwise
known as NASAby funding money to it. In addition, it has been these contributions that have led
to its many discoveries, which have taken part of our lives in one way or another. Therefore, as
NASA s discoveries have extended and taken on different areas, the

National Labor Relations Act Case Study
The National Labor Relations Act was enacted to correct the labor relations unrest in the United
States in the mid 1930 s (Vogel, 1998). The NLRA protects a firm s employees from unfair
employment practices. The law secures the rights of employees to unionization and elect leadership
to represent their interests to management (Cameron, 2009). If an employer is found to have
unlawful terminated an employee, an organization can be compelled to reinstate the employment
for the affected employee. The employment reinstatement often times includes back pay for lost
wage for the time the employee was off work. The NLRA protects employee from employer
retaliation when they are engaged in lawful union or organizing activities. When an employee is

A Analysis On Wordpress And Plugin Libraries
Conclusion
Sense its conception WordPress has managed to retain much of features and philosophies that
have made it very attractive to so many users such as its intuitive user interface. Its ease of use
typically makes it one of the first systems even most reluctant professionals explore. It is by far
one of the simplest systems to learn while still providing many easy to integrate features through its
robust theme and plugin libraries. It many also be the most future proof of the three CMS options

WordPress s very large and growing community paired with Automattic s acquisitions of
complimentary software companies it is fair to say WordPress has concreted its position as one of
the leading CMSs long into the future.
Drupal
Setup Maintenance
Drupal s installation process is similar to both WordPress and Joomla. The user simply
downloads the package and uploads it to their server and runs the installation script. Drupal is
designed to be a blank slate out of the box and is only system out of the group that is meant to be
customized before truly being used. It also offers distributions of pre packaged bundles of
modules and configurations to create specific kinds of websites. While I do give Drupal a better
ranking on setup than Joomla, it loses any merits gained when it comes to maintenance. Due to the
fact its system was created to be customized it has a lot more is riding on each

Myosin Light Chain
All organisms, from humans to simple bacteria, have a necessity to move in order to adapt to
changes in their external or internal environment, navigate towards food, and avoid dangers. Even
cells are teeming with motion as they reorganize organelles, nucleic acids, and proteins. At the
molecular level, two types of elements assist in the control movements of the cell and the organism
as a whole: molecular motor proteins and intricate complexes of proteinfilaments that make up the
cytoskeleton of the cell (Vale and Milligan, 2000). Myosinis a family of motor protein that act as
enzymes in the hydrolysis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to form adenosine diphosphate (ADP)
and inorganic phosphate (Pi), The energy released by this reaction to drive the movement of
molecules and contraction of muscle fibers (Grigorenko et al., 2007). A remarkable part of

  • 2. Jerks Is An Original Dark Comedy HYPNIC JERKS is an original dark comedy/horror script that features a very likable protagonist with a very intriguing sleep disorder. The idea of hypnic jerks is very refreshing as a flaw and it s a disorder not often talked about. It s nice to see it in the script. The tone combines dark comedy with horror elements. The script explores themes about life choices and destiny. The script offers a couple of nice twists. The highlight is the main character of Ray. He s a charming, yet troubled man, but one can t help but like him and his dog, Bonham. Equally likable and intriguing is Ambrosia. As much as one enjoys the characters, the script would benefit from more development in the areas of structure and plot. The main concern about the presentation is the lack of a well identifiable goal for Ray. The plotline isn t entirely clear. Ray transforms himself into a vampire, which appears to be motivated by the idea of the Vampire Festival, but that doesn t feel like a strong enough motivation. In addition, the link between Ray transforming into a vampire and his sleep disorder isn t entirely well connected. He s trying to write, but this too, unfortunately never feels like Ray s true, actionable goal. Now, if Ray were trying to write about vampires and felt he needed to live his life like a vampire to help him write to make the world more believable, this would connect his behavior to his objective. In addition, there s a subplot about women being stalked and then ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Journalism and democracy are arguably inextricably intertwined concepts, each having a vital role in the effective function of the other. Democracy as a term and an inherent notion finds it origins from Ancient Greece with the term being derived from the Ancient Greek words demos people and kratia power (The Daily Miracle: An Intriduction to JOuranlism p. 45). Accordingly, arguably the most powerful threat to Four Corners role in promoting and upholding democracy in Australia is the Executive s constant threats to cut network funding. This can be explored through looking through the lense of the libertarian and social responsibility arms of the theory of the press developed by Fred Siebert, Theodore Peterson and Wilbur Schramm (whatever the book is (1956)) and the propaganda model developed by Herman and Chomsky (Manufacturing Consent, 1988). • 5. Challenges Of Air Freight Demand And Potential Solutions... Challenges in Air Freight Demand and Potential Solutions 1.Introduction Air freight market is not stable and might be weak because of uncertain international trade increase (Barnard,2015). There was fluctuation in air cargo demand over the last 10 years from 2006 to 2016 which indicates that cargo demand could be changed by some external and internal influences. Some figures were released about worldwide air freight market and presented that air cargo capacity increased 2.2%, comparing to 2014. While this was the 5% growth calculated by The International Air TransportAssociation (IATA), the growth of cargo volumes in 2015 was much slower than 2014(Barnard, 2015). However, some experts pointed out that global air freight market get a positive growth from 2011, and it is enjoying a relatively steady growth, due to the enhanced trade and economic recovery after the global financial crisis of 2008(Huang,2016). Because of sluggish world trade growth, air cargo suppliers face a lot of challenges including alternative transportation, perspective uncertainty and unexpected policy and here are some potential solutions: improving customers service, efficiency, security and reducing negative environmental impacts. This essay attempts to describe current air freight market conditions, challenges in air freight demand and generate potential solutions to increase air cargo demand. • 6. Severity Of Xenophobia Understanding the Severity of Xenophobia in Singapore In 2016, it was reported that foreigners make up 40% of the Singapore s population and is projected to increase to 50% by 2030. The influx of foreigners has caused Singaporeans to fear or hate foreigners even more. In other words, Singaporeans are becoming increasingly xenophobic. Hence, it is important for us to understand the severity of xenophobia in Singapore to come out with appropriate solutions to combat xenophobia. Xenophobia in Singapore Xenophobia was made known to Singapore in the General Elections of 2011. Foreign influx was one of the hot button issues of the general elections, which pertains to the government s liberal immigration and foreign worker policy. Singaporeans believe that the influx of foreigners was the cause of overcrowding, rising property prices and unfair job opportunities for the locals. As foreigners were blamed for creating the major problems of Singapore, it has resulted in tension between Singaporeans and foreigners. This local foreign divide is evident in 2012, whereas a Chinese... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... From the examples shown above, it can be observed that the xenophobic attacks that happen in Singapore are mostly online postings and criticisms on foreigners. When compared to other countries that are also facing xenophobia, the severity of xenophobia in Singapore is quite low. Soldiers must be able to suppress the extreme stress on the battlefield. Those that cannot overcome these challenges do not survive in war. Findley writes, All she wanted was to sit in the corner of the room and watch the door for Robert s return (Findley 69). Findley depicts the effects on everyone in society, such as how a parent loses their child to war, and how society conforms to the changes of war. War is constant in human history. War is a continually reoccurring conflict over time. It spans different locations over varying different circumstances, whereas the effects of war remain the same. Insanity, madness, loss of innocence, seclusion, anguish, violence, and decreasing mental health are all by products of war. Findley accurately depicts these cases through the use of his many characters. Robert s exposure to violence leaves him in a fragile state. His behaviour can be seen as increasingly violent and shows his decreasing mental health. This declining mental health may be due to his lack of sleep. Sleep was dangerous. No matter what your mind said, your body doesn t listen. Part of you always stayed awake. Nobody dreams on a battlefield. There isn t any sleep that long (Findley 93). Highlighted throughout many examples, Robert portrays symptoms of what is known today as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Findley states, His temper, you know, was terrible. The dominant visual element that stands out in this Gentileschi piece is emphasis/focal point. It is clear that she wants the viewers eyes to be drawn to Esther. She accomplishes this first through tonal value. Gentileschi uses chiaroscuro to illuminate Esther s face and causes her to be the focal point of the piece. One of the most dangerous is the forest fire. Forest fire destroys trees which give us oxygen and it is very difficult to stop a forest fire spreading if it is not detected early. Our method is to detect the forest fire as early as possible and also predict the forest fire in advance so that prompt action can be taken before the fire destroys and spreads over a large area. We also find the rate of spread of fire in all direction so that necessary action can be initiated. The other problems are deforestation where humans cut the trees from restricted areas and so the wild animals from the forest enter the human habitation and cause problems. In this paper we discuss the solutions to overcome these problems. Essay on Robert Cialdini After spending a good amount of the semester discussing and learning about Robert Cialdini, it is safe to say that no good discussion on influence and persuasion can go very far without talking about the man who wrote the book on influence. The six weapons are reciprocity, commitment and consistency, social proof, liking, authority and scarcity. By weapons, what Cialdini really relays, are the six behavioral triggers that tend to create habitual and expected compliance. The artwork, created in 1943, was made in a time where America was preoccupied World War II. This historical detail allows the viewer furthermore to understating the reason why Bacon chose to point out the absurdity of antiques. Peggy Bacon was documented in an interview to never create scenes and caricatures but simply draw from her surroundings. Therefore making up a scene to symbolize an event in her life is not valid. As to why the artwork is a satirical representation of the real scene, I derived this from both Bacons love of satire created during her studies at the Arts Student League and from an excerpt taken from an interview with Bacon. • 20. The United States Supreme Court Acclaim for asserting the United States Supreme Court as a substantial participant in the American structure of government has been ascribed to the guidance of John Marshall as Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court from 1801 to 1835. By 1835, the Supreme Court had attained a level of equality with the prowess and prestige as that of Congress and the Executive that was not present before John Marshall was appointed to the position. Central to this development was the Court s adoption of the Constitution as its distinct reserve. Chief Justice John Marshall utilized judicial review to eliminate the Supreme Court from the socio political conflicts in government and to institute the rule of law based on the principles established in the Constitution of the Unites States. Marshall and his colleagues erected the Court s recognized power by effectively affirming an assertion to explain the Constitution and subsequently supplant the Constitution as supreme law in the commonplace sequence of arbitration and by the end of his judgeship firmly supplanted the Supreme Court s role in the U.S. system of government. John James Marshall came into this world on September 24, 1755 in a small cabin built of logs near a small rural community in Virginia known as Germantown. • 21. Baumol Model Of Cash Management It was developed by William J. Baumol. The model helps determine a firm s optimum cash balance under certainty. It is used for cash management. The model helps firms determine the optimum cash balances that they can keep by considering costs. The costs involved are holding costs (opportunity costs) and the transactional costs. Transactional costs are the costs incurred when changing between marketable security and cash. Holding costs are costs incurred when keeping cash. Opportunity costs are the costs incurred when the firm chooses to keep cash instead of buying securities. It is also known as interest rate because it is the interest rate that are foregone by the firm by not investing in marketable securities. Just like all most model, the Baumol model works with assumptions. The first assumption is that the firm must be able to forecast its cash requirements and receive a specific flow of cash at regular intervals. Its cash flows must be certain. The other assumption is that the firm must be able to change to change the securities that it owns into cash keeping the variable and fixed costs of transactions the same. • 23. The Decision Making Is Defined As A Cognitive Process Forum 2: Original post Decision Making In life individuals are faced with a continuous flow of decisions to be made and problems to be solved. Decision making is defined as a cognitive process in which a choice is developed regarding a belief or course of action from among two or more alternatives (Robbins Judge, 2009). Individuals compose decisions as a reaction to a problem, a perceived deviation linking the present condition and a desired condition (Robbins, 2009). For example, in the radiation oncology field, multiple devices are used to make treatments more accurate, reproducible, and elevate patient comfort. These devices are used frequently so they quickly become worn. They must be checked periodically to ensure structural stability and compliance with infectious control regulations. Employees are given the task of examining the devices, making decisions regarding the condition of the devices, and reporting what needs to be replaced. Managers and employees must keep in mind that incessant replacement of these devices is costly and can cause interruptions in patient care. Managers and employees should compose optimal decisions regarding the care and replacement of such devices in order to be effective, efficient, and productive. Rational Decision Making Model One process discussed in organizational behavior for decision making is the Rational Decision Making Model. Though drug use is a personal choice, the effects on the rest of society are undeniable. The best intentions are formulated on a personal level, but this is overcastted by its negative effects. This argument, however, is a bit one sided because the reason for using and dependency varies between users. In pre modern times, drugs took on a role of medicinal use. You are either taught personal responsibility as you grow into an adult by being held accountable for your own actions or the responsibility is taken from you. As an adult, you are responsible for every action that you take, but before that action comes a series of thoughts that lead you to taking that action. Depending on how you were brought up, your transition into becoming an adult can either be an easy one or a difficult one. As an adult, the one thing that I have learned is a constant is that you will be held accountable for your actions whether you like it or not. Holding yourself accountable and having self discipline has a lot to do with personal responsibility in my opinion. When you hold yourself accountable for your actions you are making a conscious effort to be a responsible person. Every action starts with a thought, whether it s a good thought or a bad thought, it will determine the outcome of that action. For example, when you wake up in the morning and the first thought that comes to mind is that you will have a bad day, whether you know it or not you are subconsciously going to make it a bad day. If you stopped that thought when it happened and told yourself that today will be a good day you have already turned the outcome around. By holding yourself accountable you are in control, you are not aimlessly going through life reacting to what happens to you. When ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 37. Wrongful Convictions Cornelius Dupree Jr.: A Case of Wrongful Conviction. Written by: Lance Kriete CJL4037 April 2011 Every year in the United States of America, millions of crimes are committed that violate and harm the individual rights, properties, and freedoms that are not only guaranteed to American citizens of this country, but also naturally inherent to mankind as whole. Based on the founding principles of our country, which are derived from the Constitution of these United States, justice is dealt accordingly to the perpetrators of these crimes. While this justice is usually fair, due to certain rights given to those who may be charged with crimes, sometimes an error is made. A simple mistake, a missing or broken link in the chain that ... Dupree was subsequently charged with one count of aggravated robbery and one count of rape, and put on trial. During litigation, both victims had testified that Dupree was one of the men who carjacked them in November. Disregarding the fact that the two defendants were not originally noticed in police lineups by the male victim, and despite the woman s repeated mixing up of the two defendants identities in court, the jury somehow thought the defense of mistaken identity was not possible, and thus both men were found guilty of aggravated robbery. The jury decided to not indict Dupree on charges of abduction or rape because they had felt any further convictions would not have been very significant; he was already given a sentence of 75 years in prison. After the initial trial, Dupree s attempts of appealing the decision were rejected three times, because he would not admit to being a sex offender. Throughout his time in incarceration, Dupree maintained his innocence; even turning down two opportunities for early parole, because he would not admit guilt and confess to a crime he did not commit. In 2006, his case was picked up by The Texas Innocence Project, and by July of 2007, the Innocent Project team requested permission from the state of Texas to test for DNA evidence from pubic ... From the beginning of the story, this theme already could be seen when the writer narrates the atmosphere and scenery of the kingdom with the life of the people. The social status here divides the royal family with the people. The serious relationship between these two groups is prohibited as this will give a bad image to the royal family. That s why the young man is being trialled in the arena as his punishment when the love between the princess and himself has been known by the king. Lastly, the theme that also can be interpreted in this short story is loyalty or we can said, blindly loyal. This theme covers up mostly the part starting when the young man has been accused and will be trialled in the arena. The young man loyal to the king s command and does not dispute or argue about it. The people also blindly loyal to their king and no one questioned about the king s command although they know that this is not fair for the young man. Symbol First symbol is the arena itself. The Importance Of Giftedness And Talent The researcher observes that the DMGT differentiates between giftedness and talent in which giftedness includes the possession and use of untrained outstanding natural abilities (called gifts), in at least one ability domain, to a degree that places an individual at least among the top 10% of age peers. Besides, It s clear in the figure that the natural abilities of the gifted have three domains; intellectual domain which includes (general intelligence, numerical, verbal...), mental domain which includes (creativity, fluency, leadership...) and physical domain which includes (perceptual, vision, endurance, speed...) (GagnГ©, 2010). On the other hand, Talent includes the outstanding mastery of developed competencies (knowledge and skills) in at least one field of human activity to a degree that places an individual at least among the top 10% of learning peers. The DMGT shows that when gifted uses his natural abilities to interact with environment through catalysts and development processes, gifted becomes talented with competency. Moreover, the first field of the competency is the academic field which includes language and other fields of life such as technical, science and technology, arts, games and sports (GagnГ©, 2010). In sum, talent fields are related to subjects, academic activities and scientific applications in different fields of life, including technology. With better understanding of the overlap of objectives both corporations and arts organizations share, public museums can offer creative, outside the box thinking in seeking corporate support. Museum development professionals can better understand the value to not only maintain existing resources, but ways to seek new partners through innovative corporate engagement by aligning museum programming and values with the increasingly social and environmental causes corporations have come to identify. In addition, as humans it has always been our nature to be curious and therefore, it has also been our greatest avidity to explore and discover things that are foreign to us. For instance, to many people it has become a significant objective to go beyond the impossible, sometimes in the pursuit to try and gain a greater perception of not only the world we live in, but also of the things that exist around us.
