This document describes a proposed traffic jam locator system for Bangladesh. The key points are: 1. Collaboration with Robi mobile could help develop and deploy the system at low cost using crowd-sourced data

We have divided our work plan into four Phases

Phase Four: Commercial Deployment Stage
So far we have completed the phase one of our work.
We have Finalized these components for the system:

• Navigation Engine [CloudBus Service + Custom Engine]
• Overlay Engine [CloudBus Service]
• Interconnected Database Management[Cloud Server]
Cloudbus a Russian cloud traffic service has
agreed to let us use their system for experimental purpose

10. Conclusion(How Robi can Help Us)
• The use of High Tech equipment for Dynamic Traffic
Assignment is not a viable option due to the economy
of Bangladesh.
• Cloud Services and Crowd-sourced Data Collection
procedure can greatly reduce the cost to provide
efficient service
• “পিিীপিকা” was a collaboration from Grameenphone and
SUST
