• RFHA is an independent NPO with global headquarters in Atlanta, GA, USA. It is
governed by fourteen trustees, including Rotarian leaders from four continents, and
managed by a CEO in close association with global partners and established Country
Teams in seven African countries
• Mobilizing partner for Rotary International on largest Disease Prevention programme
after Polio
• The Rotary Family Health Days Programme is Pan African initiative with further
expansion into Africa, India and South America planned for 2015/16

• 77 % people said their lives changed because of the RFHD’s*
• 56% of those whose lives changed say their health improved*
• 95 % of people felt their RFHD experience good*
• 99 % of people said they were treated with respect and dignity*
• 99 % of people would like to come back the next RFHD*

19. • RFHD has been included on the National Health Calendar of Events
• RFHDs will take place nationally at 120 sites between 12th – 14th October
• The Minister of Health has made determination that the National RFHD Campaign will
be officially launched on 12th October 2016 in the North West Province – Rustenburg
area.
• Target: 100 000 beneficiaries nationally
• Align the recently launched NDOH PHILA strategy and Girls and Young Women
Campaign
• RFHA Target 75 000 people
