Robert Watson is a global leader in the green building movement, having founded the LEED Green Building Rating system of the U.S. Green Building Council. From 1985 to 2006 Rob was a Senior Scientist with the Natural Resources Defense Council where he directed the Green Building and International Energy programs. ECON Group was formed from the merger of EcoTech International Group, which Watson founded in 2007 to deliver integrated green building solutions to China, India and the U.S. and ECON Building Systems, which has a cutting-edge software tool for optimizing energy investments in buildings.
