Public vs. Private on Periscope:
Public: Seen by everyone on Periscope and Twitter
Private: Seen by people you select
Tweeting to all followers desirable.

Best post title conventions:
It’s best to mention on your tweet that you are live
with a brief description.
Examples: “LIVE on #Periscope an interview with
one of the Tenors.”
“LIVE on #Periscope a tour of my pet friendly work
space at GPB HQ”

What you should say:
Thank people for tuning into your broadcast and
identify yourself.
“Thank you for tuning in, I’m Joe or Jane Smith.”

Functionality:
During Periscopes, people can chat with you, favorite
your ‘scope by sending you hearts and if you are
on anupdated iPhone they can take a screenshot
of the Periscope and send it to you.
You can also hide the chat function.

Functionality:
Your broadcast will pop up in the Global list of who is
Periscoping.
More (favorites) hearts you have, the higher you are
in the global list.
You can follow people on Periscope to see their
videos; do not need to follow them on Twitter too
but it helps in order to find them on Periscope.

What should you ‘Scope?:
No “bible” - whatever you want but keep it interesting.
Be visual and broadcast professional especially if
you are using GPB accounts.
Be descriptive.
Pay attention to your commenters and respond to them.
