comes from words spoken during a radio
talk show in 1972 .

of homosexuality in India. In the documentary For Straights Only,
she says that her interest in the topic came out of her marriage
to a homosexual man and subsequent desire to look at
homosexuality more closely in order to understand it.
The book, considered "pioneering", features interviews
with two young Indian homosexual men, a male couple in
Canada seeking legal marriage and a temple priest who explains
his views on homosexuality, and a review of the existing
literature on homosexuality.
It ends with a call for decriminalising homosexuality, and "full
and complete acceptance—not tolerance and not sympathy".

everywhere but was unable to find him. What

In Hinduism, Y is a name and manifestation of X . This manifestation is
especially popular in the Indian state of Rajasthan and Haryana. X had
obtained a boon from Krishna to the effect that he would be known by
Krishna's own name in the Kaliyuga era.

Sheelnagar, bright in its colors for the princess’s swayamwar. The
princess was a woman named Vedavathi in her previous birth. Y
was star-struck on seeing the princess and requested X for ‘’a

entered the swayamwar where he was laughed at and rejected.
Enraged, Y cursed X for ‘’the unique transformation’’ and this
curse gave birth to an important event in indian mythology.

the Surveyor General of India and was one of many thousands of Indians who

trigonometry, he was recommended to the then Surveyor General, George X,
by his mathematics professor at the Hindu College (now Presidency) in

retired in 1843 and Sikdar was now serving under Andrew Waugh, a student
