TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

application of the equipments and supplies required for administration of anesthesia. The
following are the various types of jobs handled by myself.
 Checking and setting up the Anesthesia Machine, Vital sign monitors, Infusion pumps
etc.,
 Preparing range of devices to maintain the patient’s airway management (e.g.
Laryngoscopes, E.T.Tubes, Laryngeal mask, Oral airways, Styllet, etc.,)

2.  Preparing Intravenous drugs.
 To establish Peripheral Intra-venous Access.
 Assist the Anesthetist with Induction and monitoring adequate Anesthesia.
 Monitoring and maintaining patient’s vital signs &Anesthesia depth.
 Acquiring and administering transfusing fluids and equipment.
 Assist the Anesthetist with extubation and transferring patients to post-operative care
unit.
Other Activities
 Assisting in CVP line, Arterial line insertion and monitoring.
 Managing difficult intubation ( with Fiber optic bronchoscope &Fast Track LMA’s
&Bougie)
 Able to Perform CPR (Cardio pulmonary resuscitation)
 To follow infection control procedures to maintain cleanliness of Anesthesia
apparatus and monitors.
