CONCEPT OF SWATCH BHARAT ABHIYAN  It’s aim to eliminating poverty and free from open Defecation.  Construction of household owned and community owned toilets.  Aim to achieve an ODF(open –defecation free)India ,by 2 October 2019 the 150th birth anniversary of the Mahatma Gandhi.  Aim to construct 12 million toilets in rural areas of country.

WHAT IS CLEAN INDIA CAMPAIGN?  Clean India is a national level campaign y the government of India.  Campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat.  It is India’s biggest ever cleanliness drive.  3 million Government employees and schools and college students of India participated in this event.
  5. 5. BUDGET  Mr. Arun Jaitley Proposed 2000cr. for this project.  Construction of 6000 cr. Toilets in 2016-17.  To give a boost to the project the World Bank is also giving support.  All big Cooperation's and private Organizations are asked to join the movement as a part of their activities.
  6. 6. OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Organize different awareness programs on cleanliness and sanitation.  Construction of toilets in school ,colleges and public places .  Make people aware about health issues.  Proper management of solid and liquid wastage.
  7. 7. CONCLUSION  “People should understand that cleanliness is the responsibility of every citizen of India not just only the government”.
