Jesus removed His disciples from the crowd who
could persuade them to follow their agenda.
The crowd wanted to make Jesus King for the
wrong reason.
Jesus did not go along with an agenda that ran
contrary to the Father’s plan – Philippians 2:5-8.

Vs. 24-27 – Storm at Sea.

The storm prevented the disciples from going over
to the other side.
Jesus’ walking on the water testified to His deity.
Jesus calmed their fears with His comforting
words.

Do not be surprised to find yourself in the middle of a storm
while doing the will of God – 1 Peter 2:19-20.
Sometimes the greatest struggles in life result in
greater understanding of God.
Jesus must become more real to us as than the
storms we face.

Biblical Thoughts:
Focus on our circumstances destroys our
walk of faith – Romans 4:19-21.
Recovery from failure involves growing by
the pure milk of the Word – 1 Peter 2:1-3.
