is the most renowned tool for

  motivate to develop his personality.

      have to improve

JoHari’s window
This model divides information about one person into four
  windows,

Open self
Blind self
Hidden self
Unknown self
Examples of my own
 Open self
  • Profile, hobbies, favorites…
 Blind self
  • Weaknesses, gestures, some of my
      habits…
 Hidden self
  • Family issues, feelings, things that are
      painful…
 Unknown self
  • Talents, relationship patterns,
      attractions/repulsions…
And I am trying to make my
     open self window bigger
Transactional analysis

It is the system of popular
psychology based on the idea
that one’s behavior and social
relationships reflects an
interchange between
parental, adult and childlike
aspects of personality
established early in life.
I operate adult ego state most
  of the time.
Example: once we, friends went
for a tour and we were
playing, at that time a man
  who stood near us was
smoking. So we went to him
and said “ sir, can u please
  stop smoking, its suffocating”
But he refused, so I told them
  “lets play somewhere else” and
  we went away.
I think that the well
  assimilated person in the
  movie is KABIR KHAN.
Example:- He examined his
  past experience and found
  out what was the mistake
that he did and then he
  corrected and applied the
  correct method for his
  team’s success, this is how
  he converted his
  weaknesses into strengths.
Positive conditioning
         observed from the movie
 Vidya Sharma
she conditioned herself to work hard and
accept the differences in other people.
 Komal
she conditioned herself to become more
   mature.
 Bindiya
she conditioned herself to cooperate with
   her team members.
 Balbir kaur
she conditioned herself to control her anger.
 In fact, the whole team conditioned
   themselves to accept each others
   differences and to cooperate.
Negative conditioning
observed from the movie
            Bindiya
she conditioned herself to think that senior
              player should be the captain.
            Abhimanyu
he conditioned himself to think that hockey is
not an important game but just a time pass.
            Media
they reacted negatively towards the failure of
kabir khan and made the rumor that he is a
              traitor.
            Hockey association
they thought that women are meant for
household activities and not for playing and
              all.
            In-laws of Vidya Sharma
they thought that after marriage women doesn’t
have to complete their dreams instead they
have to give up everything for their family.
Characters which needs
improvement in the personality
are,
Bindiya - negative attitude
Balbir kaur - aggressiveness
Preeti sabarwal - selfishness
Shuklal ji - disrespectful behavior towards new
 candidates
Soimoi - poor communication
They all can develop their personality through
 conditioning.
Goal achieving skills in the
            movie
SMART goals
Aim
Hard work
Planning
Time management
Team work
Positive attitude
In my opinion, the better time
manager was KABIR KHAN
 In such lesser time, he
 trained those girls very
 smartly and in fact he
 planned through
 overnight, and taught
 different methods to play
 with different teams
 according to their
 methods.
An experience in which I
failed to behave as a good time
             manager
In my first group presentation, where I was the leader
and I failed to use the given time effectively, as a
result, our faculty wasn’t satisfied with our
 performance 
Leadership qualities in the
         movie
                Planning
                Enthusiasm
                Ambition
                Intelligent
                Communication skills
                Never lose hope
We can develop leadership skills by,
Listening
Taking responsibilities
Learning from experience
Being people’s person
Focusing on aim
Working hard
I found many leaders during our
class activities, one of them is
           H.S.VIGNESH

And the leadership qualities
 are,
Good communication skills
Confidence
Can control group
Energy
Friendly nature

Ego states observed in the
          movie

Parent to child
Adult to adult
Parent to adult
Adult to child
The open self personality in the
movie is “KOMAL CHAUTALA”

 in her mind

Certain questions we asked
o Qualities that helps you the most in this job?
o Patience, convincing, smiling face and we have to know
actually what the customer is expecting for example some
may not like a friendly service, so react according to
        situation.
o What is the minimum qualification to become a front-
    office staff?
    o Hotel management.
o Which season, you will be having more guests?
o Here, the guests are mainly business people, so there is no
such season. And the profit is mostly in functions like
        wedding, anniversary, etc.
o May we know about your promotions?
o Here, being a government organization its based on experience. So
we can’t get promotions easier, it will take a long time.
o What do you like about your job?
o Its quite a cool job, enjoyable and the main advantage in my view is
we can meet celebrities and VIPs, the main thing is we can talk to
them and can spent time with them provided they are free and
        willing.
o Do you face any difficulties in your job?
o There is no job which is easy, but yeah we can face them with
patience and can overcome them. Here, the main difficulty is angry
customers, so handling them is something very difficult but
        impossible.
Barriers to effective
                communication

Physical barrier
o Such as wall, noise …

Semantic barrier
   o Language

Personal barrier
o Such as emotions, EQ, IQ …
To remove such barriers,
Take appointment or make sure that the person is
physically and mentally free and well to speak with
 you
Use the language which the listener knows
So that you can convey your messages effectively
Barriers that we faced

Physical barrier
o Distance – a senior manager went for a meeting so we
     couldn’t interact with him.
o To remove this, we had to take appointment earlier.
Semantic barrier
o Language – they were not comfortable with English.
o To remove this, we spoke the local language.
We would like to improve our
      communication

We can do it by,
Reading newspapers and
 books.
Listening to English channels
 and speeches.
And moreover by speaking in
 English with each other.
Moral values adapted from
          parents are,
 Honesty/Integrity
 Cooperation
 Respect
 Sincerity
 Politeness
 Responsibility
 Courage
 These qualities helps to climb the
ladder of success, so making these as a
part of our character will lead to
  victory.
Moral values observed
      during field activity

Hard work
Time management
Team work
Self respect
Friendliness
Freedom within the law
Moral values helps to build
     effective inter – personal
            relationship
It helps to build true, strong
 and long lasting
 relationships.
It avoids conflicts within
 people.
It helps to make our open
 self window bigger.
Conclusion
I have learnt a lot from personality development
classes, and I am sure that it will help me in my
present and future. Without a good personality,
dreaming to get a job in service industry is a futile
one. So I once again thank our faculty Mrs. Leena
Nair 
