Hello, this is your quiz-friend Partha Gupta. Over the years I have conducted
so many quiz contests and got your illustrious presence and appreciation. In
this grim situation of Lockdown due to Covid- 19, I have started an online quiz
series in my Facebook page titled ‘Theme Quiz Journey’ which has been going
on since 10th May, ‘20 the birthday of ‘Father of Indian Quiz’- Neil O’Brien.
So, I am going to place a Special Theme Quiz (10 qsn.) in my FB link:

So friends, gear up to answer the questions as the earliest!

2.  In this set you will get 10 questions. Firstly, try to answer them. All the answers have a
centralized connection. When you connect the answers, will automatically get the theme or
centralized answer. For each correct answer of the regular question you will get 5 points each. If
you crack the theme, will be rewarded with the same bonus points i.e; 50 points. Make sure about
the 100% correctness of the theme answer otherwise, your score sheet will be nullified! Read
through the questions first and try to answer them and finally check out the explanations of the
theme.

Depelchin. It is named after a 16th-century Jesuit missionary
to India. A commemorative stamp was issued by the Indian

‘X’ was actually called the Clares, after Times of India editor-in-
chief Clare Mendonca. After running a poll among the readers of
‘X’, the name was later changed to its present name. Hollywood
star Gregory Peck was supposed to attend as the guest of honor
for the first ever ceremony of ‘X’ on March 21, 1954 at the Metro
Theatre, Mumbai. However, due to flight delay, he could only
attend the after-party. The statuette of ‘X’ is made of bronze and
is surprisingly heavier than you’d expect – it weighs 5 kg!

The idea of ‘X’ belongs to the French Association of
Artistic Action Director (AFAA), Philippe Erlanger and the
film critics, Emile Vuillermoz and Rene Jeanne. ‘X’ is one of
the "Big Five" of its kind in the world. The organizers of ‘X’
asked jewelers to compete for the creation of ‘Y’. Lucienne
Lazon’s design of ‘Y’ was chosen. Since 1997, Swiss company
Chopard has been in charge of manufacturing ‘Y’. The price
of it is about 20.000 Euros. It is made of 18-carat gold.

Jain. The film's original soundtrack was composed

Malini, Dimple Kapadia, Vidya Sinha were offered the role, but
they refused because of sensual content and body exposure in
the film. Kumar Gaurav, the son of Rajendra Kumar was an
assistant director on the film. He was credited as "Manoj Kumar".

‘X’ is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of
Bollywood. He was born on July 22, 1923 near Delhi. He took a job with Public
Works in Delhi after finishing his class 10th and his talent in singing was
later recognised by the actor Motilal at a wedding ceremony. He acted as a hero in
the film ‘Mashooka’ in 1953, opposite Suraiya and in the film ‘Anurag’. He was a
favourite of renowned Indian spin-bowler Bhagwath Chandrasekhar. When the
sound of a ‘X’s song drifted to the pitch, Chandrasekhar's acknowledgement of the
tribute would bring a roar from the crowd. Sunil Gavaskar wrote that sometimes
he hummed a ‘X’s tune on the field to inspire Chandra. Chandra's passion affected
team-mates Kirmani, Gundappa Viswanath, and even some journalists.

King ‘X’ (reign. 1178–1192 CE) whose original name was Rai Pithora, was
a king from the Chahamana (Chauhan) dynasty. He ruled Sapadalaksha,
the traditional Chahamana territory, in present-day north-western India.
He controlled much of the present-day Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi;
and some parts of Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. His
capital was located at Ajayameru (modern Ajmer), although the medieval
