2. This all-rounder garnered attention in the Big Bash League where
he took 17 wickets and pitched in with the bat in 13 appearances
for Hobart Hurricanes. In the IPL auctions, his base price was Rs.
40 lakh. With five teams bidding for him, it was obvious that he
would fetch a lot. 18 times more than his base, he fetched Rs 7.2
Crores. In 2018 he played his first match against Mumbai Indians.
Yorkers, knuckle-balls and 145km/hr deliveries were some of the
variations that he showcased in his IPL debut. He gave 22 runs and
took three wickets in his spell. His team won the match by three
wickets and he got off to a dream start in the IPL.

5. Marcus Codrington Fernandez was the inventor of the unique
‘Mongoose’ bat that popularized by Mathew Hayden in IPL 2010.

supposed to be before its name but its Icon Player
suggested to keep a special word which was finalized.

Jaydev Unadkat of RPS achieved this
unique feat when he claimed in it the
20th of the SRH innings in 2017 season.
11. Keemo Paul. He was dismissed for ‘Diamond Duck’ in the DC vs. MI match
at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground.
When a batsman is dismissed without even facing a single delivery, termed
Diamond Duck. This cricketer was the first in IPL who was out in this
unfortunate way.
Sanju Samson was the second in the 2019 season who was out in this way.

‘My Covid Heroes’) against KKR in their first match
on 21st September, 2020 were auctioned and the entire

Deccan Chargers against Rajasthan Royals but his knock

with the ball. After two good balls, Rajasthan Royals
needed 14 off four balls. Shane Warne struck a boundary
and 10 were needed off 3 balls. He missed his length and
he was deposited for two sixes by Warne as Royals pulled
off a sensational win with the highest successful chase.
18. In IPL-2015, Delhi Daredevils side sported a special lavender
jersey in their home game on 1st May against Kings XI Punjab.
