Welcome! Closing Luncheon and Celebration Emerging Nonprofit Leaders Program 2010-2011
Sandra Booth United Way of  Greater Richmond & Petersburg Our strongest “thinking” type, Sandra can solve any problem!  She is energetic, strategic, straightforward and passionate.  Her ENPL colleagues appreciate her thoughtful responses, creativity and the way she embraces leadership.  Sandra is  a joy to be around.
Todd Elliott Boys & Girls Club Charismatic and enthusiastic, Todd is a high energy leader who brings a quest for excellence to his work.  He is a go-getter who is open and supportive of others.  Todd’s great sense of humor and engaging style were bright spots in our days  together.
Deborah Falls Lockhart  1708 Gallery Primed to make a difference in the nonprofit realm, Deborah is a sincere and kind spirit with high “EQ!”  She is down-to-earth, dependable, inclusive, and smart.  Deb’s ability to champion other people is one of her  pathways to excellence.
Leah Fremouw Virginia Commonwealth University Leah brings a hard working and determined style to her leadership.  She is an eager learner and ambitious community member who is an asset wherever she goes. She inspires her classmates with her courage and inner strength.
Jennifer Friar St. Joseph’s Villa Jenny’s many admirable qualities include her inquisitive nature and keen observations of people and systems.  She has a no-nonsense style, ability to offer fresh perspectives to her teammates, and amazing agility on the high wire!  Jenny is also the proud mother  of our most recent ENPL baby!
Christine Holland Commonwealth Autism Service  A  focused and purposeful leader, Christine gets it done! She combines a deep commitment to helping others with a keen mind and no-nonsense style. Christine is the kind of person you always want in your corner.
Courtney Jones  Planned Parenthood Full of ambition and passion for her causes, Courtney is a force for good in our community.  Her sparkling sense of humor lifts our spirits and her frank commentary sharpens our thinking.  Courtney is an  excellent person to be with on the high ropes!  
Allison Jones-Nassar  Virginia Supportive Housing Allison inspires us all with her devotion to the power of volunteerism.  She is insightful, bright, supportive, and compassionate.  As one of her classmates said, “those around her are the lucky ones.”
Amy King Rebuilding Together Richmond Amy is a committed leader who sets the bar high and typically leaps right over it! Her determination, decisiveness, wisdom, and forward thinking style make her a real asset to the nonprofit community.
Kristen Lessig Sportable Richmond Known for her passion, vision, and warmth, Kristen is an exemplary next generation leader.  She is a pioneer in her field and risk-taker who brings a spirited presence to her work.
Noel McKenzie Johnson  Enrichmond Foundation Noel has "natural leader" written all over her!  Extremely capable and creative, Noel balances her focused approach with a fun loving side.  Noel shines as a true team player.
Sandy Morris  ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions Sandy is our most stylish leader!  She is direct, strong, smart, an excellent manager, and also full of kindness. ENPL colleagues note that Sandy is “Deep Water”, the “Go To Person”, Peace Maker,  and Friend.
Kay Peninger St. John’s Church Foundation Kay is always open to learning new skills!  She is a great role model for many of us and leads with warmth, vision, and inclusivity.  Her positive energy and approachability add to her effectiveness as a leader and  valued team mate.
Val Reinford Special Olympics A few of the adjectives used to describe Val’s leadership style are: reflective, knowledgeable, engaging and focused.  Val pushes past her comfort levels to get results and is someone we learned a lot from.  She also won praise for being  a “great roommate”  at our retreat!
Megan Rollins  Boaz & Ruth Megan is a values-driven leader who inspires others through her integrity and commitment. A consensus builder, Megan is known for her honesty, her grounded and thoughtful approach, and a willingness  to “challenge the process.”
Katy Sawyer Medical Society of Virginia Foundation Capable and committed, Katy leads with thoughtful intent.  Classmates appreciated her sense of humor, insight, and friendliness.  Her steady presence helps others along the pathway.  Katy is also a Class A  Hula Hooper!
Chris Schultz Virginia Home for Boys & Girls Chris exudes a great deal of natural leadership ability and a “wicked imagination”! His encouraging style, creativity and innovation, and commitment enable Chris to make a difference in our community.  Thanks to Chris, we all have a  new visual of Rosa Parks forever imbedded in our memories!
Stacy Slusser The Virginia Home Stacy has an inner spark that brightens the way for residents and colleagues alike. She brings great warmth and interpersonal skills to all she does.  We’ll always remember Stacy’s giving nature, support and compassion.
Anitra Watson Elder Homes Anitra is a rising star in our community. She is a bright, hard-worker who leads by example and with enthusiasm.  Her ENPL colleagues appreciate her results-orientation, openness, and communicative style.  Anitra is also the future mother of our next ENPL baby!
