How to register for the Digital Way Pre-ICO and ICO
1) Please visit our ICO page at https://www.digitalway.net/ico.
A link allowing access to our Know-Your-Customer (KYC) portal will be displayed.
2) You will be required to register an account with our KYC portal to start the whitelisting
process, followed by an email verification. Subsequently you must login and fill up the
necessary KYC information, followed by an upload of a relevant government ID
(identification card, passport, driver's license etc), selfie holding the same ID, and other
verification steps where applicable.
3) A selection indicating a contribution of either BTC, ETH or NEO will be needed, with your
intended contribution amount, followed by your Ethereum wallet address to receive the
ERC20 based WEI tokens when released.
4) You will be notified if your KYC information is successfully received and approved. If yes,
you will receive a contribution address with your allocation amount during the pre-ICO
or public ICO, where you can then send in your contributions. The allocation amount is
to ensure every whitelisted participant will be able to obtain WEI tokens.
5) Once the ICO closes, we will commence token distribution after 7 days. Any excess
contributions beyond the allowed allocation will be refunded, after deducting network
fees. We encourage everyone to send in only their allocated numbers to reduce
administrative overhead to return excess contribution, and to prevent losses due to
network fees.
6) Tokens will be transferrable 48 hours after all tokens for the ICO are issued.
Pre-ICO Whitelisting Period
You must complete your KYC submission within the window period between 18th February
2018 and 28th February 2018 (10 days) and satisfy the minimum contribution criteria in
order to participate in the Pre-ICO. The minimum contribution required to participate in the

FOUNDER’S MESSAGE
The Way Forward
We are at critical crossroads as we enter the Fourth Industrial
Revolution, or Industry 4.0. Technology, that is advancing so
quickly that large sections of society will soon be left behind.
Most jobs will simply disappear due to automation.
Digital innovation will become the single most important asset in
the future economy and for humanity at large. If we have a
chance to ‘future-proof’ ourselves and our societies for a better
future, what should we do? Is there a way to use 4.0 technology
to impact high growth industry verticals that affect daily lives?
I believe there is. Ambitious? Yes. Unrealistic? No.
The Digital Way is not a pipe dream. It is a ‘future-now’ reality.
We have the working products and technology to make it come
true. The future is not created overnight, but we have already
taken a few steps forward.
I invite you to join us to create this future together!
Foreword by Wei Chuan Beng

DIGITAL 4.0 TECHNOLOGIES:
Impacting High Growth Sectors, Globally
avos Switzerland, World Economic Forum, 14 Jan 2016:
“We stand on the brink of a technological revolution that
will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one
another. In its scale, scope, and complexity, the transformation
will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before.”*
What is this referring to? The Fourth Industrial Revolution, which
is widely predicted to be the single most impactful and disruptive
force in global economics. The speed of breakthroughs has no
precedent, and almost no industry or country will be spared. The
possibilities of billions of people connected by mobile devices,
with ample processing mileage, storage capacity, and access to
knowledge, are unlimited.
When we amplify these possibilities with current breakthroughs
in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things,
Distributed Ledger Technologies (or Blockchain), to name the top
few, a whole new Digital Future can be created – where digital
becomes a way of life, where possibilities turn into power – for
individuals, societies and humankind to redefine their potential
for self-determination.
We call this Digital Way Ventures.
ithin the next decade, our daily lives will experience rapid
changes. It could be the way we communicate with each
other, the way we let our devices talk to each other, the way we
get from point A to point B, the way we seek or receive health
care literally from cradle-to-grave, and the way we transact for
our day-to-day needs – with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
We bring Industry 4.0 to you, so that you can directly participate
in this revolution and reap its benefits.

ASEAN: AN IMMEDIATE GROWTH
OPPORTUNITY FOR DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
o you know that ASEAN as a common market is the third
largest in the world after China and India? It is also the
7th largest economy in the world in terms of GDP, and projected
by McKinsey to be 4th largest by the year 2050!* It is home to the
fastest growing economies in the world, such as Vietnam and Philip-
pines, according to the World Bank.**
Or do you know the following?
(a) ASEAN is the world’s fastest growing internet region, with a
user base of 480 million by 2020, almost doubling from
260 million now, based on Google’s research.***
(b) ASEAN is a mobile-first region with mobile penetration rate
of 133% over population. Not only is the user base large, it
is predominantly young (70% are under the age of 40) and
increasingly middle class.
(c) ASEAN established the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)
to create a single market and production base, and unified
competitive economic region. China will remain as its most
strategic trade partner and supplier.
(d) ASEAN is adopting digital innovation so quickly across the
whole production value chain that the International Labour
Organisation (ILO) expects 56% of jobs to be displaced or
automated by Industry 4.0 technologies.****
ith all these trends and opportunities for growth, we plan
to capitalize on them quickly and expand our footprint in
this region. We are better positioned to do so than other foreign
competitors with our market experience, cultural advantage and
direct proximity. We also have our sights set beyond ASEAN.

DWV BUSINESSES’ IMPACT IN
HIGH GROWTH VERTICALS
igital Way Ventures has acquired majority and substantial
stakes in strategic 4.0 technology start-ups (several which
are in acceleration stages) such as Rezekee, Favoriot, Wooppy,
and Medical Opinion Asia*; and holds an interest in Red One
Network.
Each company is an existing and operational enterprise focusing
on key human needs such as security, health, mobility, and even
self-employment. They are already making impact to real lives,
with over a million users in total.
They each have ambitious innovation roadmaps, and some with
major corporate tie-ups at global level as well as key academic
research partnerships.

AUTOMOTIVE VERTICAL
The ASEAN automotive market has healthy growth opportunities
due to the relatively low levels of car ownership in key emerging
markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines, with 10%+
annual growth rates.
Problem Statement
Car dealership penetration rates in ASEAN pale in comparison
to advanced economies. For instance, USA has 52 dealerships
per million consumers while Indonesia has only 4 despite a fairly
comparable population size. The physical dealership concept is
severely challenged by the high cost of real estate, staff turnover,
and limited selling hours. Moreover, car salesmen carry a ‘trust
deficit’ with consumers valuing inputs of family members and
friends instead.
Digital Way Solution
Our sales process is conducted digitally, just like bringing the car
showroom onto a mobile application. The app offers users the
ability to choose model type, calculate loan amount which they
can access, and opt-in for post-purchase services like insurance
and maintenance. We currently have 8,000 certified automotive
advisors and are geared to deliver 5,000 bookings in 2018.
Drivers of Growth
(a) Community – We have identified the successful archetype of
community members who are sales generating, i.e. they are
recruited for their width and depth of contacts and deep
understanding of the automotive industry.
(b) Challenger Brands – Second-tier brands with limited physi-
cal footprint actively seek out alternative distribution channels
and are open to sharp discounting. The close-knit nature of
the Rezekee community allows for aggressive price promo-
tions by principals without affecting the dynamics of the
market.

Globally, medical insurance premiums are growing at 9% per
annum and rapidly rising. As loss ratios and expenses mount
from more pay-outs, insurers will face further dilution in their
profit margin and pass back the cost to consumers as higher
premiums.
Problem Statement
A significant portion of insurance pay-outs is linked to expensive
non-emergency procedures such as cardiac angioplasty, stent,
spinal fusion back surgery, hysterectomy, knee-hip replacement,
caesarean section and others. Recommendations from second
opinions are relied upon to weigh the need for such procedures,
reduce pay-outs by insurers, reduce the complications and
hassle for patients from unwarranted operations.
Digital Way Solution
We have an automated service offering to help obtain external
specialist opinion on existing diagnosis and identify any findings
that are baseless or discretionary. We have already signed
agreements with large regional insurers in ASEAN and beyond;
in which our medical second opinion service is built into the
policies sold to consumers.
Drivers of Growth
(a) Anchors – We will continue our tie-ups with large local and
multinational insurance companies as the industry tends to be
concentrated or dominated by these players.
(b) Health Records – Technologies that enable easy sharing of
heavy medical imaging files such as MRI, Mammogram, CT
Scan, using backend infrastructure that’s compatible on both
desktop and mobile, will be extended. This allows medical
practitioners to be productive in-between patient breaks, and
tracks cases papers to ensure accountability and traceability
for all the opinions shared.
HEALTHCARE VERTICAL
“I can get a second
medical opinion from
any doctor in the world!”
DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
30
SENIOR CARE VERTICAL
The world’s senior population is expected to surpass 2 billion by
the year 2050. Large proportions of them reside in high-income
nations. Geriatric health care is no doubt booming, segmented
based on those with limited mobility and full mobility – 60% of
the seniors in European Union (EU-25) countries belong to the
latter.
Problem Statement
A growing population of senior citizens in high income nations are
living away from their children. Since the cost of hiring personal
attendants are high in these regions, there is a need for an afforda-
ble way to watch or monitor their wellbeing and safety, thus giving
their children peace of mind even though they live apart.
Digital Way Solution
Advanced mobile and broadband infrastructure can now deliver
IoT services effectively to address this need. Our proprietary tech
uses a wide range of sensors on a smart watch that (1) tracks
vital parameters like blood pressure, falls, movement outside set
borders, (2) sets up reminders for medicines and (3) allows for
two-way communication.
Drivers of Growth
(a) Synergies – Leverage on medical resources and AI in sister
companies to spot or review health trends, predict potential
falls and other physical ailments based on data patterns.
(b) Ecosystem – Long term relationships with several universities
have been established to foster R&D of additional services or
apps on the lOT platform.
(c) Distribution – Via large pharmacy chains like Benu in Europe
with 1200 outlets to widen reach (since 85% of the pharmacy
market is independently managed).
(d) Partnerships – Active discussions with a range of parties for
collaboration especially with the rise of IOT-specific SIMs like
Belgacom BICS that allows global scaling with one provider.
“I care and ensure my
loved ones are safe and
healthy wherever
they are!”
DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
31
COMMUNICATIONS VERTICAL
As the mobile communications market saturates and matures, we
have to optimize adoption, exploit Big Data advantages, and
regionalize quickly. redONE owns the largest postpaid MVNO
(Mobile Virtual Network Operator) in Malaysia, with more than 1
million subscribers and 3+ years of continuous profitability.
Problem Statement
Mobile plans are becoming increasingly complicated with a very
diverse range of allocations for voice, SMS and data, and making
it harder to differentiate from competitors. Users typically do not
see the true value of services.
Digital Way Solution
We break through the clutter – by offering MVNO services that
leverage on the host’s infrastructure to offer easy-to-understand
plans at attractive price points, so that value can be clearly seen
and readily understood by consumers to improve take-up rates.
Drivers of Growth
(a) Penetration – Target to be the largest MVNO across ASEAN
with a phased roll-out across markets, and actively convert
users from the 42 million potential MVNO user base.
(b) Adjacencies – Extend beyond the current telecom services to
offer a wide array of adjacent services to the same base for
new revenue streams, such as:
• Delivering targeted advertising to the users
• Payment capabilities available to consumer base
• Financial services including micro lending
All the above are powered by the Big Data from consumers
while the mobile network offers the ability to connect users.
“I can get exactly the
right mobile plan I
need without paying
extra!”
DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
32
AI-BASED ADVISORY SERVICES VERTICAL
Margins of service industries like financial services and telecom are
squeezed by increasing costs and falling revenues caused by digital
disruption. The emergence of fintech and over-the-top (OTT) service
providers have impacted growth prospects resulting in the need to
streamline costs – particularly for backend operations (IT and
HR-related) which contribute 12-13% of total operating expenses.
Problem Statement
The telecom and banking sectors are demanding automation to
offload labour-intensive and repetitive operational tasks, reduce
human errors, detect fraud, and broaden capacities to process a
wider range of data simultaneously.
Digital Way Solution
Our CEVA – Customer Engagement Virtual Assistant uses AI to
automate common repetitive customer enquiries so that agents can
focus on more value-added tasks, improve response time by
robo-answering FAQs, retrieve customer data, and digitize back
end functions. It also enables cross-selling with clever deduction of
usage trends and segmentation.
Drivers of Growth
(a) Partnerships – We have acquired a major telecom client and are
delivering our first project by early 2018. This region has another
45 addressable telcos and 41 banks for us to market to.
(b) Productization – Repackaging our service-based offering as a
‘shelf’ product can expedite decision-making and uptake, with
emphasis on specific verticals to build our knowledge curves for
the long term.
(c) Consumerization – CEVA is currently focusing on business needs
and can be repurposed for consumer driven purchase advisory.
The algorithm enables the analysis of huge volume of offers
across multiple sources and identifies the best deals that are most
relevant to the needs of consumers.

Each of the businesses within Digital Way Ventures champions specific 4.0
technologies like IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Mobility.
At the same time each of the businesses focuses on specific verticals like
healthcare, senior care, advisory services for telecom and financial services
and has built up significant industry knowledge and experience.
The cross section of these technologies and industry knowledge allows for
building unique cross sectional synergies via services and new products.
Current planned cross functional services include Medical Opinion experts
reviewing user data from Favorwatch devices for long term trends; Wooppy
using Artificial Intelligence to predict potential falls of the elderly. The Digital
Services Platform blockchain facilitates the sharing of data across the services
with ease.
Similar cross functional services and even new products are planned for
roll-out from Digital Way Ventures in the near future.

DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
As per the current growth estimates, DWV plans to grow sales to USD 135.6 million by
Year 5. This resembles an Average Annual Growth Rate (AAGR) over the 5 years of
over 154% per year.

DWV DIGITAL SERVICES PLATFORM (DSP):
INNOVATIVE CROSS-INDUSTRY UTILITY BLOCKCHAIN
igital Way Ventures will be creating a ‘cross-industry utility
blockchain’ that unifies users and uses of all the services in
its ecosystem, and with the capability to onramp participants or
merchants from other industries across national borders.
Blockchain is a software innovation for establishing digital trust
between users facilitating transactions of value over a network.
It enables trust to be distributed throughout a network and the
sharing of authenticated and anonymised consumer information
across different services to bring forth a seamless valued-added
experience for the end user.
With this blockchain (and unlike traditional server architecture),
anyone can set up a node that replicates the necessary data for
all nodes to reach an agreement and be compensated by users
and app developers. This allows user data to remain private and
apps to be decentralized just like how the Internet was supposed
to work.
EI tokens are linked to a common ID (unique user identity)
which allows for identification of users as they move from
one service to another within Digital Way Ventures, and with its
external partners. The token is very practical and offers access to
technology services, cost efficiencies, personalisation, and
participative benefits throughout their life.
For the purpose of this ICO, the Digital Way Foundation will be
securely underpinned by the internationally acclaimed Ethereum
ERC20 blockchain that acts as the immutable distributed ledger
backbone upon which Digital Way Foundation will host its WEI
token. Subsequently (post-ICO) it also allows us to run a custom
built blockchain that can be used to:
• Exchange and/or transfer ownership of any property of value;
• Store registries, information, debts or promises;
• Function as 'multi-signature' accounts;
• Manage agreements between users e.g. if one buys insurance
from another;
• Provide utility to other contracts and so forth.

We aim to use blockchain to streamline the sharing of identities across the
multiple verticals under DWV, associating each user with a unique identity on
the blockchain supported by eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) activities
to ensure authentic identity. Below is a high level overview of the architecture
design for the identity linked with a repository for identity verification.
A front end layer structured as a dApp (decentralized application) will be built
for the user to interact with, which connects to our blockchain wallet holding
a collection of the user's basic information. Our blockchain layer acts as a
sidechain to interoperate with the Ethereum network, enabling checking of
balances, transacting of tokens, which will be completed and settled on the
main Ethereum networking. Web services will be made available by each
specific stream to allow interaction with our blockchain layer, allowing data
to be served to the front end.
Below depicts the overall ecosystem of how blockchain can streamline busi-
nesses under DWV umbrella, and easy integration of future businesses with
existing repositories.

Technology, that is advancing so quickly that large sections of society will soon be left behind. Most jobs will simply disappear due to automation. Digital innovation will become the single most important asset in the future economy and for humanity at large. If we have a chance to ‘future-proof’ ourselves and our societies for a better future, what should we do? Is there a way to use 4.0 technology to impact high growth industry verticals that affect daily lives? I believe there is. Ambitious? Yes. Unrealistic? No. The Digital Way is not a pipe dream. It is a ‘future-now’ reality. We have the working products and technology to make it come true. The future is not created overnight, but we have already taken a few steps forward. I invite you to join us to create this future together! Foreword by Wei Chuan Beng FOUNDER’S MESSAGE

  • 24. 23 DIGITAL 4.0 TECHNOLOGIES: Impacting High Growth Sectors, Globally avos Switzerland, World Economic Forum, 14 Jan 2016: “We stand on the brink of a technological revolution that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another. In its scale, scope, and complexity, the transformation will be unlike anything humankind has experienced before.”* What is this referring to? The Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is widely predicted to be the single most impactful and disruptive force in global economics. The speed of breakthroughs has no precedent, and almost no industry or country will be spared. The possibilities of billions of people connected by mobile devices, with ample processing mileage, storage capacity, and access to knowledge, are unlimited. When we amplify these possibilities with current breakthroughs in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Distributed Ledger Technologies (or Blockchain), to name the top few, a whole new Digital Future can be created – where digital becomes a way of life, where possibilities turn into power – for individuals, societies and humankind to redefine their potential for self-determination. We call this Digital Way Ventures. ithin the next decade, our daily lives will experience rapid changes. It could be the way we communicate with each other, the way we let our devices talk to each other, the way we get from point A to point B, the way we seek or receive health care literally from cradle-to-grave, and the way we transact for our day-to-day needs – with anyone, anywhere, anytime. We bring Industry 4.0 to you, so that you can directly participate in this revolution and reap its benefits. • 26. 25 ASEAN: AN IMMEDIATE GROWTH OPPORTUNITY FOR DIGITAL WAY VENTURES o you know that ASEAN as a common market is the third largest in the world after China and India? It is also the 7th largest economy in the world in terms of GDP, and projected by McKinsey to be 4th largest by the year 2050!* It is home to the fastest growing economies in the world, such as Vietnam and Philip- pines, according to the World Bank.** Or do you know the following? (a) ASEAN is the world’s fastest growing internet region, with a user base of 480 million by 2020, almost doubling from 260 million now, based on Google’s research.*** (b) ASEAN is a mobile-first region with mobile penetration rate of 133% over population. Not only is the user base large, it is predominantly young (70% are under the age of 40) and increasingly middle class. (c) ASEAN established the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) to create a single market and production base, and unified competitive economic region. China will remain as its most strategic trade partner and supplier. (d) ASEAN is adopting digital innovation so quickly across the whole production value chain that the International Labour Organisation (ILO) expects 56% of jobs to be displaced or automated by Industry 4.0 technologies.**** ith all these trends and opportunities for growth, we plan to capitalize on them quickly and expand our footprint in this region. We are better positioned to do so than other foreign competitors with our market experience, cultural advantage and direct proximity. We also have our sights set beyond ASEAN. • 28. 27 DWV BUSINESSES’ IMPACT IN HIGH GROWTH VERTICALS igital Way Ventures has acquired majority and substantial stakes in strategic 4.0 technology start-ups (several which are in acceleration stages) such as Rezekee, Favoriot, Wooppy, and Medical Opinion Asia*; and holds an interest in Red One Network. Each company is an existing and operational enterprise focusing on key human needs such as security, health, mobility, and even self-employment. They are already making impact to real lives, with over a million users in total. They each have ambitious innovation roadmaps, and some with major corporate tie-ups at global level as well as key academic research partnerships. D * Registered as Medo Asia “I can easily access 4.0 technologies for various uses in multiple industries with WEI tokens.” “I can buy, rent, sell or recommend a car simply on my phone!” “I can get a second medical opinion from any doctor in the world!” “I can make sure my loved ones are safe and healthy wherever they are!” “I can have better and more informed service at lower cost!” “I can get exactly the right mobile plan I need without paying extra! DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
  • 29. 28 AUTOMOTIVE VERTICAL The ASEAN automotive market has healthy growth opportunities due to the relatively low levels of car ownership in key emerging markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Philippines, with 10%+ annual growth rates. Problem Statement Car dealership penetration rates in ASEAN pale in comparison to advanced economies. For instance, USA has 52 dealerships per million consumers while Indonesia has only 4 despite a fairly comparable population size. The physical dealership concept is severely challenged by the high cost of real estate, staff turnover, and limited selling hours. Moreover, car salesmen carry a ‘trust deficit’ with consumers valuing inputs of family members and friends instead. Digital Way Solution Our sales process is conducted digitally, just like bringing the car showroom onto a mobile application. The app offers users the ability to choose model type, calculate loan amount which they can access, and opt-in for post-purchase services like insurance and maintenance. We currently have 8,000 certified automotive advisors and are geared to deliver 5,000 bookings in 2018. Drivers of Growth (a) Community – We have identified the successful archetype of community members who are sales generating, i.e. they are recruited for their width and depth of contacts and deep understanding of the automotive industry. (b) Challenger Brands – Second-tier brands with limited physi- cal footprint actively seek out alternative distribution channels and are open to sharp discounting. The close-knit nature of the Rezekee community allows for aggressive price promo- tions by principals without affecting the dynamics of the market. “I can buy, rent, sell or recommend a car simply on my phone!” DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
  • 30. 29 Globally, medical insurance premiums are growing at 9% per annum and rapidly rising. As loss ratios and expenses mount from more pay-outs, insurers will face further dilution in their profit margin and pass back the cost to consumers as higher premiums. Problem Statement A significant portion of insurance pay-outs is linked to expensive non-emergency procedures such as cardiac angioplasty, stent, spinal fusion back surgery, hysterectomy, knee-hip replacement, caesarean section and others. Recommendations from second opinions are relied upon to weigh the need for such procedures, reduce pay-outs by insurers, reduce the complications and hassle for patients from unwarranted operations. Digital Way Solution We have an automated service offering to help obtain external specialist opinion on existing diagnosis and identify any findings that are baseless or discretionary. We have already signed agreements with large regional insurers in ASEAN and beyond; in which our medical second opinion service is built into the policies sold to consumers. Drivers of Growth (a) Anchors – We will continue our tie-ups with large local and multinational insurance companies as the industry tends to be concentrated or dominated by these players. (b) Health Records – Technologies that enable easy sharing of heavy medical imaging files such as MRI, Mammogram, CT Scan, using backend infrastructure that’s compatible on both desktop and mobile, will be extended. This allows medical practitioners to be productive in-between patient breaks, and tracks cases papers to ensure accountability and traceability for all the opinions shared. HEALTHCARE VERTICAL “I can get a second medical opinion from any doctor in the world!” DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
  • 31. 30 SENIOR CARE VERTICAL The world’s senior population is expected to surpass 2 billion by the year 2050. Large proportions of them reside in high-income nations. Geriatric health care is no doubt booming, segmented based on those with limited mobility and full mobility – 60% of the seniors in European Union (EU-25) countries belong to the latter. Problem Statement A growing population of senior citizens in high income nations are living away from their children. Since the cost of hiring personal attendants are high in these regions, there is a need for an afforda- ble way to watch or monitor their wellbeing and safety, thus giving their children peace of mind even though they live apart. Digital Way Solution Advanced mobile and broadband infrastructure can now deliver IoT services effectively to address this need. Our proprietary tech uses a wide range of sensors on a smart watch that (1) tracks vital parameters like blood pressure, falls, movement outside set borders, (2) sets up reminders for medicines and (3) allows for two-way communication. Drivers of Growth (a) Synergies – Leverage on medical resources and AI in sister companies to spot or review health trends, predict potential falls and other physical ailments based on data patterns. (b) Ecosystem – Long term relationships with several universities have been established to foster R&D of additional services or apps on the lOT platform. (c) Distribution – Via large pharmacy chains like Benu in Europe with 1200 outlets to widen reach (since 85% of the pharmacy market is independently managed). (d) Partnerships – Active discussions with a range of parties for collaboration especially with the rise of IOT-specific SIMs like Belgacom BICS that allows global scaling with one provider. “I care and ensure my loved ones are safe and healthy wherever they are!” DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
  • 32. 31 COMMUNICATIONS VERTICAL As the mobile communications market saturates and matures, we have to optimize adoption, exploit Big Data advantages, and regionalize quickly. redONE owns the largest postpaid MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) in Malaysia, with more than 1 million subscribers and 3+ years of continuous profitability. Problem Statement Mobile plans are becoming increasingly complicated with a very diverse range of allocations for voice, SMS and data, and making it harder to differentiate from competitors. Users typically do not see the true value of services. Digital Way Solution We break through the clutter – by offering MVNO services that leverage on the host’s infrastructure to offer easy-to-understand plans at attractive price points, so that value can be clearly seen and readily understood by consumers to improve take-up rates. Drivers of Growth (a) Penetration – Target to be the largest MVNO across ASEAN with a phased roll-out across markets, and actively convert users from the 42 million potential MVNO user base. (b) Adjacencies – Extend beyond the current telecom services to offer a wide array of adjacent services to the same base for new revenue streams, such as: • Delivering targeted advertising to the users • Payment capabilities available to consumer base • Financial services including micro lending All the above are powered by the Big Data from consumers while the mobile network offers the ability to connect users. “I can get exactly the right mobile plan I need without paying extra!” DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
  • 33. 32 AI-BASED ADVISORY SERVICES VERTICAL Margins of service industries like financial services and telecom are squeezed by increasing costs and falling revenues caused by digital disruption. The emergence of fintech and over-the-top (OTT) service providers have impacted growth prospects resulting in the need to streamline costs – particularly for backend operations (IT and HR-related) which contribute 12-13% of total operating expenses. Problem Statement The telecom and banking sectors are demanding automation to offload labour-intensive and repetitive operational tasks, reduce human errors, detect fraud, and broaden capacities to process a wider range of data simultaneously. Digital Way Solution Our CEVA – Customer Engagement Virtual Assistant uses AI to automate common repetitive customer enquiries so that agents can focus on more value-added tasks, improve response time by robo-answering FAQs, retrieve customer data, and digitize back end functions. It also enables cross-selling with clever deduction of usage trends and segmentation. Drivers of Growth (a) Partnerships – We have acquired a major telecom client and are delivering our first project by early 2018. This region has another 45 addressable telcos and 41 banks for us to market to. (b) Productization – Repackaging our service-based offering as a ‘shelf’ product can expedite decision-making and uptake, with emphasis on specific verticals to build our knowledge curves for the long term. (c) Consumerization – CEVA is currently focusing on business needs and can be repurposed for consumer driven purchase advisory. The algorithm enables the analysis of huge volume of offers across multiple sources and identifies the best deals that are most relevant to the needs of consumers. “I can have better and more informed service at lower cost!” DIGITAL WAY VENTURES
  • 34. 33 Each of the businesses within Digital Way Ventures champions specific 4.0 technologies like IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Mobility. At the same time each of the businesses focuses on specific verticals like healthcare, senior care, advisory services for telecom and financial services and has built up significant industry knowledge and experience. The cross section of these technologies and industry knowledge allows for building unique cross sectional synergies via services and new products. Current planned cross functional services include Medical Opinion experts reviewing user data from Favorwatch devices for long term trends; Wooppy using Artificial Intelligence to predict potential falls of the elderly. The Digital Services Platform blockchain facilitates the sharing of data across the services with ease. Similar cross functional services and even new products are planned for roll-out from Digital Way Ventures in the near future. • 35. 34 GROWTH ESTIMATE FOR DIGITAL WAY VENTURES DIGITAL WAY VENTURES As per the current growth estimates, DWV plans to grow sales to USD 135.6 million by Year 5. This resembles an Average Annual Growth Rate (AAGR) over the 5 years of over 154% per year. Note : 1) For the purpose of growth estimates RedOne is excluded due to minority shareholding by Digital Way Ventures. 2) The above is a 5 year projection based on market assumptions & historical business performance.
  • 36. 35 DWV DIGITAL SERVICES PLATFORM (DSP): INNOVATIVE CROSS-INDUSTRY UTILITY BLOCKCHAIN igital Way Ventures will be creating a ‘cross-industry utility blockchain’ that unifies users and uses of all the services in its ecosystem, and with the capability to onramp participants or merchants from other industries across national borders. Blockchain is a software innovation for establishing digital trust between users facilitating transactions of value over a network. It enables trust to be distributed throughout a network and the sharing of authenticated and anonymised consumer information across different services to bring forth a seamless valued-added experience for the end user. With this blockchain (and unlike traditional server architecture), anyone can set up a node that replicates the necessary data for all nodes to reach an agreement and be compensated by users and app developers. This allows user data to remain private and apps to be decentralized just like how the Internet was supposed to work. EI tokens are linked to a common ID (unique user identity) which allows for identification of users as they move from one service to another within Digital Way Ventures, and with its external partners. The token is very practical and offers access to technology services, cost efficiencies, personalisation, and participative benefits throughout their life. For the purpose of this ICO, the Digital Way Foundation will be securely underpinned by the internationally acclaimed Ethereum ERC20 blockchain that acts as the immutable distributed ledger backbone upon which Digital Way Foundation will host its WEI token. Subsequently (post-ICO) it also allows us to run a custom built blockchain that can be used to: • Exchange and/or transfer ownership of any property of value; • Store registries, information, debts or promises; • Function as 'multi-signature' accounts; • Manage agreements between users e.g. if one buys insurance from another; • Provide utility to other contracts and so forth. D W DIGITAL SERVICES PLATFORM
  • 37. 36 We aim to use blockchain to streamline the sharing of identities across the multiple verticals under DWV, associating each user with a unique identity on the blockchain supported by eKYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) activities to ensure authentic identity. Below is a high level overview of the architecture design for the identity linked with a repository for identity verification. A front end layer structured as a dApp (decentralized application) will be built for the user to interact with, which connects to our blockchain wallet holding a collection of the user's basic information. Our blockchain layer acts as a sidechain to interoperate with the Ethereum network, enabling checking of balances, transacting of tokens, which will be completed and settled on the main Ethereum networking. Web services will be made available by each specific stream to allow interaction with our blockchain layer, allowing data to be served to the front end. Below depicts the overall ecosystem of how blockchain can streamline busi- nesses under DWV umbrella, and easy integration of future businesses with existing repositories. DIGITAL SERVICES PLATFORM
