Seiho is the branch of science that deals with internal defence against diseases and disorders of Human beings. There are two divisions in Seiho, namely: Ki-atsu and Shi-atsu. We are expected to develop both spirit and wisdom in and through our training in ‘Keimyaku Hiko’.

5. KI-RYOKU CHAPTER OF SHIATSU
01. SHI-ATSU
Shi-atsu is the healing aspect of
Keimyaku Hiko. It comprises of
‘Sei kotsu’ and ‘Kappo’.
02. SEI-KOTSU
Sei kotsu is a method of correcting
maladjustment in bone positioning and
restoring natural and harmonious condition of
life.
03. KAPPO
Kappo is a method of resuscitation
applied to someone who has been
knocked unconscious by a strike to a
vital point.

11. UNDERSTANDING KI-RYOKU
COSMIC NATURE PULSE OF LIFE
We begin from the teaching that each person is an offshoot
of Dharma, and as such the circadian rhythm of the
Sun, harmoniously influences the flow of energy
within the body.
For example, Lung meridian flows at a definitive time
between 3.00am~5.00am. Since it falls in the
daytime it is considered to be Lunar time. Directly
opposite to this time, Urinary bladder meridian is
active between 3.00pm~5.00pm. Since it falls in the
night time, it is considered to be Solar time. If
there is any imbalance in the lungs and lung meridian
at its peak time of 3.00am~5.00am, the urinary
bladder and its energy meridian, flows into the lung
and lung meridian, in order to restore harmony.

fundamental understanding of the Universe within the

CONSTANT CHANGE ENERGY MOTION
No matter how powerful humans become, we cannot
change the laws of the universe; the consequences of
our actions are as certain as the actions themselves.
The harmony of opposites is the foundation of life. The
opposites which organize our thoughts – heaven and
earth, day and night, positive and negative, male and
female, south and north and many others, stand in
apparent opposition. Yet each maintains its own
distinct nature while finding harmonious relations with
its opposite.
