Take me out is similar to our idea because in both shows there are multiple people
competing for one person. Also, in both shows the contestants don’t know who they will be
competing for until they come on stage. However in our show, the guest will be a celebrity.

Our show is similar to Tool Academy because, in that show they have to do challenges to
win the overall prize, just like in our show the people have to complete the challenges in
order to win.

Similar time slot:
Usual shows on at 7pm are family friendly shows like, The Simpsons on Sky1 and Emmerdale
and Coronation Street on itv. So this would be a perfect time for a new dating game show,
as there aren’t any on at that time on a Friday, so there is a clear gap in the market for our
show.
Shows that are on ITV2:
The shows that are currently on the channel ITV2 are all mainly family friendly and comedy
shows. For example they show You’ve Been Framed, Two and a Half Men and also Take Me
Out. So our show will fit perfectly on this channel as there isn’t many game shows currently
showing, also our show is family friendly and comedic like the shows already airing on this
channel.

2. Ratings:
I found it hard to find ratings for the channel ITV2, however these are the ones I could find.
At 08:00 PM on Saturday Britain’s Got More Talent got 1604000 views, so this means a lot of
people like to watch behind the scenes of talent shows. At 03:40 PM Funniest Ever You've
Been Framed! On that same Saturday generated 547000 views, so the audience clearly like
comedic shows.
