From there the presentation touches on ways to claim your identity online, how to leverage social networks, and how to effectively network with your connections.

There’s still no school like the old school—connections are everything and the best way to nurture them is with personal contact including phone calls, lunch dates, and good old fashioned thank-you cards.Also regularly contact everyone in your LinkedIn network. A universal quarterly update will suffice nicely in addition to the occasional personalized communication.
