Irene-Angelica Chounta holds a senior researcher (assistant professor) position in the Center of Educational Technology in University of Tartu, since February 2018
She studied Electrical and Computer Engineering and received her Ph.D. from the University of Patras, Greece. During her Ph.D. she focused on human-computer interaction, groupware evaluation, technology-enhanced and computer-supported collaborative learning. Her research interests mainly focus on learning analytics for monitoring, mirroring and guiding learning activities, group formation and group dynamics
