classroom, we hope to
deepen our understanding
of how it can be utilized to
enhance our teaching.

4. Project Goals
Work together to plan cross-divisional inquiries
related to robotics and coding
Deepen our understanding of how coding can be
utilized to enhance our teaching
Address related challenges such as student
engagement, differentiated instruction, and
student voice/choice
Create a resource bank which can be shared with
the rest of the staff
Increase the number of teachers utilizing iPads
and robotics kits in future years

PC, a mobile phone, a calculator, even a
microwave, code is being run.”

• We live in a world that is becoming more
reliant on technology every single day. Coding
is becoming an essential job skill in more than
just IT.

We explored the progression in
technology in 4 areas. We showed the
differences in party line and land line
telephones vs cell phones, radio shows vs
HD flat screen TVs, slower autos vs high-
tech food trucks, and brooms vs Roombas.
