Jimmy Choo is a 21st century luxury accessories
brand.
It was founded by Mr.Choo in 1996 with his niece
Sandra Choi .
 Jimmy Choo was among the first to bring shoes and
handbags to Hollywood where the red carpet proved
to be the ideal runway for the brand
First Brick and Mortar Store
opened in 1996 on Motcomb Stree
in London
In 1998 Jimmy Choo expanded
to U.S., Opening two stores in
New York and Beverly Hills,CA.
The Expansion continued in well known
places like, London, Paris, Rome and Tokyo.
Today, Jimmy Choo encompasses a complete
luxury accessories brand. Women’s shoes remain the
core of the product offer, alongside handbags, small
leather goods, scarves, sunglasses, eyewear, belts,
fragrance and men’s shoes.
Revenue growth is supported by the store
opening programme, through which the
Group plans to open 10 to 15 stores per year,
as well as the rollout of the recently
introduced new store concept across the
estate
Our aim is to grow towards a regional
mix more in line with the wider luxury
market through growth in Asia and
selected new markets, while maintaining
our presence in EMEA and USA and to
obtain their vision to create one of the
worlds most treasured luxury brand

Rapid Celebrity Promotions
But the real growth story of Jimmy Choo over the
past 14 years has been the riding of a tidal wave of
celebrity endorsements, as well as those gushing
recommendations in Sex and the City. The series ran
on the US channel HBO from 1998 to 2004, but since
then two films have emerged and it is still being
shown on UK cable channels. Maureen Hinton, the
lead analyst at the retail consultancy Verdict, said: "It
is a very good brand name that has global appeal – it
is perhaps a residue from Sex and the City."

Sultan of his native state in Malaysia. This award
bestowed upon him the title of ‘Dato' and

He has received several awards

Outstanding Malaysian Designer’ in the 2001
‘Design for Asia Awards’.
He was honored with an ‘Order of British
Empire’ in 2002, to recognize his services to the
fashion industry in the UK. His shoes have been
worn by many members of the royal family.

the Court for some personal
reasons between the company.
Now she is also selling
similar quality products with
half of Jimmy Choo’s price
