This document outlines 10 lessons that street photography has taught the author about life. The lessons are: take more than one shot to increase chances of a good photo; make photography personal by "shooting who you are"; improve a little each day; don't let negativity distract you; stay hungry and foolish in your pursuits; constraints can breed creativity so less is more; connections with others are more important than photographs; create work that will stand the test of time; add value to the world by thinking about your legacy; and practice gratitude in your work and life.
