Pathways to Innovation is an initiative of Epicenter at Stanford University that is managed by VentureWell and funded by the National Science Foundation. Pathways relies on Strategic Doing, an agile strategy discipline pioneered by Purdue, to produce some remarkable results. This presentation reviews our progress through August 2015.

25. The Strategic Doing approach
might be one of the most effective
ways of implementing change on
campus. It effectively replaces
strategic planning, a
traditional pathwayâŠ
Our diverse team of faculty and
administrators have pivoted many
times because of the continuous
feedback that we analyze and plug
back in into the decision making
process.
Ilya V. Avdeev, Ph.D.âš
26. The Strategic Doing approach
had a significant impact for us in
helping us move faster from
having a general idea for a
program to its successful
implementation. It keeps the
whole team focused on
outcomes.
Magda Lagoudas
27. Inspired by PathwaysâŠ
