Micro-blogging is a form of blogging that allows users to write brief text updates (usually less than 200 characters) and publish them. Users are attracted by the simplicity and ability to post frequently. The most popular micro-blogging platform is Twitter.
A video blog (sometimes referred to as a vlog) is the same as blog but instead of using just text and images to share your information you also use video. Some video blogs are primarily just video and are hosted on sites like YouTube.
