This was the original idea for MRY Mobile Week
When we told the team we’d take away their
phones, they were all like…
When we told IT that hundreds of people would be on
the wifi, they were all like…
So we had to come up with Plan B (or C, or Q)
4 goals for #MRYGoMo
1. Education
2. Participation

3. Collaboration
4. Innovation
Here’s a taste of how it went
People could add their names to teams
We had the Daily Challenge
We had field trips, such as visiting AT&T’s lab
We invited accomplished, innovative speakers
We officially launched our barista app
We created the world’s first Vineathon
What does a Vineathon look like? Ask the crab lady
A Vineathon so nice, we did it twice! (more to come)
15 teams (60 people) pitched their best ideas
A few lessons to leave you with
1. Aim high – be ambitious
2. Be crystal clear on your goals

3. Set a follow-up plan – and stick to it
4. Collaborate with others beyond your walls (let’s talk…)
