  4. 4. As we grow up, we improve our skills at communicating our wants and needs, our feelings and thoughts, with our family members, to begin with, and the rest of the world, over a period of time. <br />
  5. 5. We also learn to interpret other people&apos;s wants and needs, feelings and thoughts, so that we are aware of how our behavior impacts on others. <br />
  6. 6. We find that people <br />with good interpersonal skills <br />get along well, <br />with people, and circumstances. <br />They connect with <br />other people effortlessly, <br />they seem to know <br />the right things to say and <br />they generally succeed in <br />whatever they do.<br />
  7. 7. Interestingly, we find that <br />interpersonal skills <br />are one of those things <br />that you&apos;ll only really notice <br />when someone <br />doesn&apos;t have them!<br />And, understandably, <br />if we are not good at these skills,<br />it is the others who first notice it.<br />
  8. 8. The good news is that<br />It is possible for everyone of us <br />to develop really effective <br />interpersonal skills. <br />The question is,<br />are we aware of the need, and if so,<br />are we interested and committed to<br />improving our skills, continuously ?<br />

  51. 51. The more we understand Human Behavior in others and especially ourselves, the better equipped we are to manage our emotions as well as become more authentic to others.<br />We are better armed to deal with differences , conflicts and problems.<br />

The importance of learning about ourselves is critical to our success in the world.<br />It is also critical to reach our goals, becoming independent , and building a bridge for the future<br />We need to become more open , confident, and comfortable with who we are.<br />Everyone is not out to get us, and in fact they may have good feedback for us if we are open to it. <br />
