• Use All Parts of Twitter API: Streaming (Track/Follow/Geo), REST, Search
• Use Crowdsourced Credentials to Amplify Capacity
• Find Tweets + Users In Target Geography
• Look at who those users follow
• Record top-followed users if they are in target geography
• Repeat — Inspect as you go, discarding BieberHoles + OneDirection Landmines
• 7 Days yielded ~17M users, ~62M connections
• ~53K users, 5.5M connections in Puerto Rico
• Same basic approach can work for LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
