Who would you like to reach with your social media efforts?

These goals are here to help us measure success. We recommend you pick an overarching goal (traffic, subscribers,
and members) and also add a social media goal (Facebook fans, likes, interactions and comments). By choosing
one of each you can compare qualitative responses to quantitative data.

3) Outreach and Maintenance Plan:
This depends greatly on the audience and the capacity for social media from the requester. If you are trying to
reach out to audiences we already have, then we can contact the correct people who manage those audiences.
Otherwise we will have to build up credibility with a desired audience and invest time in cultivation.

4) Moving Forward:
Now’s a good time to decide the long term plans for your social media project. If a page or username has been
created from this plan, it is imperative to know who will maintain the audience and provide updates to the social
media site. If this project is simply campaign-based, then moving forward we either need to re-evaluate the
presence or close it down until appropriate.

  • 1. National Wildlife Federation Social Media Request Form http://oc.nwf.org/sm 1) Target Audience: Who would you like to reach with your social media efforts? Describe a target group: 2) Specific and Overall Goals: These goals are here to help us measure success. We recommend you pick an overarching goal (traffic, subscribers, and members) and also add a social media goal (Facebook fans, likes, interactions and comments). By choosing one of each you can compare qualitative responses to quantitative data. Numeric Goals: Big Picture Goals: 3) Outreach and Maintenance Plan: This depends greatly on the audience and the capacity for social media from the requester. If you are trying to reach out to audiences we already have, then we can contact the correct people who manage those audiences. Otherwise we will have to build up credibility with a desired audience and invest time in cultivation. Requester’s time investment (hours per week): 4) Moving Forward: Now’s a good time to decide the long term plans for your social media project. If a page or username has been created from this plan, it is imperative to know who will maintain the audience and provide updates to the social media site. If this project is simply campaign-based, then moving forward we either need to re-evaluate the presence or close it down until appropriate.
