Colorss’ who are we!
Roko Mat Toko Mat…. Sochne do inheSochne do (Hindi)… (Don’t
stop them, let them think)
These lines hold so true for the kids…. We need to just
let them think in the way they want to … without any
boundaries and any restrictions. They are very creative
and innovative in nature. We as adult could not even
imagine or think of things that they would come up. So
one of the Mantra to let the kids perform is give them
openspace,letthemthink/imagine/askquestionsabout
any topic they want to… don’t restrict their thought / as
adult we should not try n put our thoughts into theirs.
An example - What do you see in the below picture. We
would say A Square, an oval and 4 circle… some would
say brown square… Blue circle and so on… very true
Show the same pictures to the kids and see what comes
up. You would be surprised to see the inputs..

Origin: Lack of education and resources, dearth of infrastructure and facilities, poor
or in fact no access in some cases, are issues that still remain and continue to haunt a
traditional Indian setting. Every individual realizes this at some instance or the other
but the concerned action is most often shelved and remains to be, due to various
reasons. While this process continued, there were others who nourished the thought
and gave it food. There came up social institutions, non-profit organizations, self-
funded and self-run societies which realized the necessity and importance to empower
the nation and do whatever they could. Colorss was born too!
Colorss Foundation was the outcome of the socio-centric and humanitarian thought
process of its founder Mr. Anand Koti. Anand’s passion and dedication to bring in a
massive social change in the society, to drive this social change by imparting education
using creative and innovative methods brought Colorss into existence in 2008. Since
then many action driven and research oriented projects have come into existence
here and have been instrumental in achieving the purpose of this mission. As Colorss
continues to make great strides on the social front, let’s take a vow to contribute in
whatsoever manner possible to reach out to people in our communities and societies
to enhance, empower and energize them. Colorss is present in Baroda, Gujarat and in
Pune, Maharashtra.
Vision:WarrenBenniswasrightwhenhesaid“Visionanimates,inspiresandtransforms
purpose into action”. Colorss was set up with a purpose – to empower and develop
the underprivileged children in the society and to make them ideal and value-driven
individuals. And since its inception, Colorss has been working towards its vision, thus
contributing in whatsoever manner possible to strengthen the deprived communities
and get them in closer proximity to what may seem alien or new to them. It has also
been striving hard to inspire and transform individuals and volunteers to take action
and serve the society and in turn give back to the communities where we belong.
Mission: Colorss is currently working towards setting up an educative and resourceful
environment for the socially deprived children, which will help them complete their
basic education. Its founder, the supporting organizations, individuals and volunteers
are working with dedication and devotion to make its vision a reality. On the road
towards achieving its goals, Colorss would be more than happy to absorb like minded
individuals on board their efforts to support them in whatsoever manner possible. In
the words of its founder, Anand Koti ”If you want love or if you want to give back love”,
then you are all set to join the social bandwagon!
Reducing the number of school drop outs, brightening children’s lives with martial
and creative arts, and teaching skills to poor women: some actions have a great
potential of change. This is what Colorss Foundation believes in. This is what we do:
use knowledge to transmit knowledge. Colorss Foundation has been operational since
Sep 2008 having its presence in Baroda, Gujarat and Pune, Maharashtra.
By developing programs to improve disadvantaged groups’ lives, Colorss Foundation
is doing its part. The projects that we have in Baroda
1. Project ‘Colors of Life’ – 30 students [boys and girls –Baroda]
Observing government schools in India, we can face a bad reality: 50% of students drop
out of school before the 8th standard. This is very worrying when we think about the
importance of education, a key for the development of individuals and of the society.
And this is the point when creating a program like Colors of Life. How this can be done?
The students are given topics for creative writing –they are either encouraged to write
in Marathi, Gujarati or Hindi. These topics are thereafter translated into English and
published as an E-zine.
Colors of Life : The Colors of Life project combines the use of technology and art
to encourage children to stay in school while learning useful vocational skills and
improving their communication and interpersonal skills through the creation of Colors
of Life, the bimonthly e-magazine. A trained psychologist assesses each participant on
his physical and mental abilities at the beginning of the program. Currently, the

facing upwards :)
Just test with kids around you! You would
have infinite creative answers to it… Let
them open up. This is the key to their
creativity :)

children take part in a one-hour session twice a week. At the
beginning of the program, the teaching staff takes on a facilitating role
to lead the teens to write or draw based on a given topic. The topics are
chosen by a psychologist on purpose to encourage the participants to
open their mind by exploring their inner-self and to get them to be in a
more relaxing and comfortable mode. Their artwork will be featured in
the Colors of Life E-zine, which will be a motivation for the participants as
well as giving them a sense of pride and increase their self-confidence.
Issues addressed: Focus is on school dropouts, to motivate the child for
further education and vocational training.
The program works with brain stimulation games, workshops on life-
skills and different
issues,drawing,musicanddance,creativearts,andPBL(projectbased
learning) too.
2. Project ‘Urja’ – igniting the fire within – 15 women in vocational
training [Baroda]
Helping on the development of children is very important. However, we do not work just with children:
Project Urja that attends to disadvantaged women is important as well. It intends to break the vicious
cycleof poverty,in which thesewomendo not haveaccessto training and resourcesand, consequently,
have little or no education. Then, they stay in poverty, and the same thing keeps happening.
Only education can solve this problem. The children of their families are provided with needful
education. Different workshops are conducted for these women and their families. Building up these
women current skills and introducing new skills, we can empower them and impact positively their
families. This is the basis of Project Urja: professionals, peers, community, awareness programs, and
mentorships teach vocational skills to a group of women from the slums of Sanjay Nagar, New Sama
Road, Baroda.
3. Risachi - It is the research wing of Colorss Foundation, recently formed in early July 2012. Despite
its recent inception, Risachi has successfully has got 4 international publications.
Please enjoy Colorss and we hope that we do fill some colours in your personal life as well.

Why the need for a “Colors of Life” concept?
Healthy self-esteem is like a child’s defence against the challenges of
today’s world. Children who know their strengths and weaknesses and
feel good about themselves have an easier time handling conflicts and
peer pressure. They will be able to tackle problems and adjust better
to disappointments and be able to be optimistic and enjoy life to the
maximum. These kind of children are realistic and a happy bunch.
Kids with lowself-esteemfind lifein general tobeachallenge.Everything
they do is a matter of major anxiety and frustration. They think poorly of
themselves and have a hard time accepting compliments or appreciation
because they feel they don’t deserve it. If a child thinks “I’m no good” or
“I always end up doing the wrong thing” they may become pessimistic,
passive or depressed. If they are given a chance, a new challenge, a new
opportunity their immediate response will be “ No, I can’t.” or “No, I
won’t be able to ”.
Self-esteem is defined as to how much a person values himself or herself.
This is not constant and can change from time to time even from day to
day or from year to year. One ‘s overall self-esteem doesn’t develop
during adulthood but develops right from infancy to adulthood.
Self-esteem is a feeling of being happy with one’s self in all aspects and
being loved for the same. A child who is happy with an achievement but
does not feel loved may eventually experience low self-esteem. On the
other hand, a child who feels immensely loved but is hesitant about his
or her own abilities is also likely to develop low self-esteem. A good self-
esteem is eventually a balance of both.
Self-esteem starts very early in life. The concept of success following
effort and persistence starts early. For a child to achieve a good self
esteem they need to be appreciated and admired for the efforts they
take or put in into the various aspects of their life.
So, it is a good thing to think about developing and promoting self-
esteem during childhood. Only when children experience failure will
they succeed eventually. They begin to explore their strengths and
weaknesses and realize their limitations.
For this we definitely need “Colors of Life”, a concept where children
are given their due importance and made to feel worthy about
themselves. A platform where children can write down their thoughts,
express their feelings, define their opinions and be able to articulate
their voice through a medium called media. The results are for all to see.
Their article comes out along with their picture, a lot more people see
and hear them and their thoughts and feelings. They feel recognized,
they feel they belong, they feel their contribution matters to society.
Isn’t that what we always wanted? A feeling of belongingness, a feeling
of being appreciated and a feeling of high self worth.
Parents can promote good self-esteem by encouraging, motivating and
supporting their children in the many areas their children are interested
in. If parents fail to recognize their children’s aptitude and talent in one
area and force them to excel in an area they are interested in. It will only
spell disaster. This trend has to change. Parents should avoid focusing
on one specific area; for example, academics, which can lead to kids
feeling that they’re only as valuable as their test scores, even when they
are immensely talented in other areas like sports or fine arts.
Self-esteem fluctuates as kids grow. It’s frequently changes in
accordance with a child’s experiences and perceptions. So a “Colors of

Life” concept will go a long way in promoting a very healthy self esteem and self concept among
children by showcasing their talent of writing about the topics they are interested in and being
recognized for it. Recognition of any sort makes a positive impact on adults and even more so on
children. By recognizing a child’s talent and appreciating it, makes the child’s feel more confident in
himself/herself and will motivate the child to do more work harder, strive for better.
On the other hand kids with low self-esteem may be averse to try new things for fear of failure and
may exhibit a low tolerance for frustration and may give up easily. They tend to be overly sensitive and
overly critical of themselves and get disappointed in themselves very easily.
Praise in the form of recognition as in “Colors of Life” for a job well done and the effort involved
will encourage the child to work harder. Positive reinforcement in the form of their article being
printed and their picture being included will definitely make them think better of themselves and
their capabilities.

Experience at Nielsen
office Baroda, Gujarat
How should be a good
neighbour?
My experience at Nielsen was awesome,
lovable and exciting. We had already visited
the Nielsen office on 26th April 201. I was
worried that I have to perform here in front
of so many people working here, how I
could face them! On the day of the event
i.e. 10th May 2013 there was tension and
I was stressed a lot. Even my friends were
tense on how will our performance come-
up. But when our turn came to perform the
skit, I was conscious and I had to focus on my
acting. Tried to forget the world I was just trying to make my best to perform. Well
and also when my turn for dance came I was much confident. This time though it was
a group dance, but by removing the stage-fear and with aggression the expression
which I was supposed to give.
I prepared myself for the performance. Colorss have supported me a lot and I have
learnt many things like dancing, acting and many more. They gave a promising gift to
us that I can’t forget in my life time. Chance to perform in front of such high profiled
people and such a place was just a dream for me. I learnt to be in disciplined, improve
my skills in dancing and acting, this was a great thing. It has now motivated me to
learn more new things, perform on stage in a much better way if get a chance again.
Increase in self confidence and increase in enthusiasm. I would never forget this
experience.
Thanks to Colorss for giving as such opportunity and make us a great individual from
who we were before.
A neighbour should be like family member.
I wish that neighbour should be very good
natured and kind. He/she should not be
selfish who only talks for their selfish motive
and then when one needs help he/she
doesn’t help. I wish that a neighbor should
be like a good friend who helps when one
is in need, who peacefully maintains social
relations. Neighbour should be such that
he/she participates in one person’s good
and bad times equally. Most importantly
he/she should not have bad habits like smoking and drinking as it is not good for
health. Neighbour should be such who never fights and cooperate with everyone. He/
she should not be orthodox.
The psychological impact of opportunity on
the children from disadvantaged community
Children who grow up in disadvantaged families are in constant need of being
accepted and appreciated in their own circles. They want their abilities and talents to
be noticed. They are on the lookout for opportunities to showcase themandget that
much needed appreciation.
When these children are provided opportunities to display their talents four main
emotions come to the fore.
1. It creates a sense of belonging in them that their economic or social status is not a
hindrance in them being accepted in a normal society.
2. The motivation is at an all-time high as they believe that it’s their abilities that got
them the opportunity.
3. Such children are usually honest and they want to justify the faith imposed on them.
A sense of justice is what drives them.
4. Lastly,a competitive streak motivates thesechildren to show that they are no less
compared to their privileged counterparts.
The best example is when the children from Colorss came to Nielsen office to showcase
their acting and dancing skills. Everyone in that group wanted to put their best foot
forward and they did it with great confidence and poise. Seeing them, no one would
have guessed that they practiced dance in the confines of a small and congested
room. They still managed to learn and give their best and proved they are no less. In
the end they were very happy at the applause and appreciation they received from
everyone around!
Another example of when the children from Colorss came to Nielsen to see what work
is done in the office, it was evident that they all left with a positive frame of mind,
hoping one day they will also work in such big offices. It’s their idea of evolving in their
life and leading a normal life. They also realized the importance of studies and what it
will do to their life.

There is no point in being excessively harsh on your children and their
abilities and their limitations when it comes to nurturing your children’s self-esteem.
Parents have to identify their children’s irrational beliefs about themselves, whether
they’re about perfection, attractiveness, ability, or anything else. They have to help
their children set realistic goals and appropriate standards and be more realistic in
evaluating themselves which will help them have a healthy self-esteem.
“Colors of Life” acknowledges a child’s thoughts, feelings and writings and encourages
the child to become more confident of their abilities and capabilities and in turn
become more confident and capable adults who make the right choice in the future.
“Taking responsibility and pride in who you are is a sure sign of healthy self-esteem
and the greatest gift parents can give to their child”.

If I would be invisible
There are some boys who usually tease
other small boys in my locality. So If
would have been invisible I would teach
lesson to such elder boys who tease and
harass the younger ones. I have also
seen young boys steeling purses of the
individuals, so if someone has stolen
the purse then I will catch him and beat
him up. Would return the purse to the
person. If I would have been invisible
I would love to help needy people.
There is a cat that comes to my house
everyday and tries to climb the tree near
my house. If I would have been invisible
I would have definitely help her to climb.
Children from Colorss at
Nielsen, Baroda
On 26thof April 2013, The Nielsen’s turned hosts to little guests from slums in Sanjay
Nagar, Vadodara. These 30-35 children aged between 5 and 15 years are part of the
educational program of Colorss. It was the memorable experience for us and to kids as
well. The kids were looking so excited and happy. They visits the floors interacted with
employees and talking about themselves what they studying, what games they love.
They also love to chat what we are doing in office. Talking about their aims.
On 10thof May 2013, Nielsen once again invited the kids and this time to add to the
excitement the parents had to accompany their children. It was the great fun to be
with the kids and to be kids with them as well ☺. The kids too didn’t miss the chance
to come up with dance performances, mime shows and small acts that showed their
sheer ability and interest to learn new things and develop themselves on par with
anyone else.
Impact: Through this experience Psychological Impact on the Children must be positive
and very high. They will be more encouraged to study sincerely and work hard. To find
themselves in a good position in the future. Also will help them to improve their self-
confidence; will develop the interest and skills in other activities too.

Education is like a gift in our lives. Without
Now days T.V, Radio, Mobile, Laptop,
Internet, Computer, Facebook and Email are
very useful in our daily life. We can learn
from T.V many things; like learn a new style
of dance by watching reality shows on T.V
channels.
Through Radio we can hear new songs
and news. We get a lot of knowledge from
Radio. We can tune any radio station and
hear our favorite songs.
Mobile is a very famous media through which many things can be done. Like we
can use internet and download songs and also use for many other good things like
F.M, through USB we can download some interesting game which help our problem
solving ability. Also some people who want to learn dance can also; through mobile
and internet can learn dance by downloading the videos in which they teach steps for
dance. Through such media we get motivated and don’t loose our morale.
We can also learn a lot of things from computer. We can also get education through
this media like internet facility where from Google we can get a lot of thing like
Information related to educational topics. As now a day social networking site like
Facebook can help find new friends.
The disadvantage of the Media like Mobile, computer etc is that we should not watch
excessive T.V programs everyday as because of the rays coming from it can affect
our eyes and we can become abnormal. We should not use internet more and also
earphone as it can affect our body severely.
So Media do influences us so much but sometime have to take care of their use also.

Shenmo is an educational organization on enrichment learning. Our after-school
programs include Mental Math, Creative Arts and so on. As the director of Shenmo
(USA), I am really impressed by what Colorss Foundation is doing for kids with special
needs; especially I am touched by the improvement of these students from the project
named ‘Colors of Life’. I always ask myself ‘How are they able to make it? They must
have done the efforts which a lot of people are not able to do!!!’ But I have to say: Yes,
they can! Every time when I read the wonderful E-magazine produced by these brave
students from the project of Colors of Life, I wish more students could get involved in
this useful project. It is not only a project which adds colors to these students’ lives
but also a project that adds hope to their future and the communities. It does require
a lot of efforts from different people. The sad fact is that we are only able to offer very
limited support since we are an overseas organization. However, it will not weaken
our determination to add more colors to more people’s lives because we share the
same planet and are building the changing world. We do hope you could also join us
and offer more support to Colorss Foundation no matter where you are and who you
are…..
We must understand this world will be different if we contribute more together!

By getting educated everyone can move
towards success. But those who don’t
get educated do labor work in their life.
There are many children who actually
wanted to study but their parents don’t
allow them. If we study we can become
doctor, police officers, professors,
engineer etc in future. In villages also
there are many children specially girls
who want to study in their life but due to
parents restrictions they can’t. Getting
educated is important. With the help of education we can learn many things in our
life like respecting elders, being disciplined, maintain cleanliness of our body.
If we are educated our learning can help us in our daily life also.
Education and importance
of education!

Now days there are many more advanced
changes in the media industry.e.g. T.V. ,
radio,computers,mobile phones, video
games…..e.t.c…..
Radio is that media which uses air as a
medium to transmit its songs, news etc….
it is the oldest and the best companion
when we are alone driving or sitting at
home.
Video games are that source of media
where the children enjoy their vacations, but it is not good always as it does not allow
children to play outside and play physically.
The most common and popular media is computers and mobile, both of these are
best convenient for people who work outside and has more work. But it is not good
for children because it hampers the physical and mental growth.
Both computer and mobile are connected to another type of media which is called
INTERNET-can be considered good and bad both at the same time. It is good only
when the limitations are till educational or some genuine work like songs dance-steps
or e-commerce. But cannot be considered good if the person crosses the limitations
i.e. uses internet for accessing unacceptable things by the society. Even the social
networking sites are considered good and bad both.
Television is also known as box of fun and fantasies and in English it is even called a
idiot box like the radio it is the oldest medium of entertainment, but in radio we can
just hear and in television we can visualize the scenes. We can watch movies, songs,
dances, regular episodes, e.t.c e.g. we watch Dance India Dance - a reality show on TV
and we learn new dance-steps!
But again like the internet even this box has some disadvantages; like the violence
shown in movies, inappropriate language and behavior in some regular telecasts,
reality shows which creates a bad impression on the minds of the people and over
and above that the children are so attracted to the cartoon serials and advertisements
that they force their parents to buy such stuff. Children even waste time of their study
due to watching of their cartoon programmes.
Thus, we conclude that to use media in some limitations is not bad but using it beyond
limits is considered bad.
How does media
influence us???

Environment means the natural
surroundings like air, water, wind, land,
trees fruits, flowers etc. environment is
very important for our life.
Water is important for drinking, bathing,
cooking food etc. Wind gives us oxygen
we breath….trees give us wood, fruits
and flowers etc. And land gives us floor
to live and grow food grains.
It is our prime duty and responsibility to
save and protect the environment.
The environment now a day is getting polluted. The people waste the natural resources
and pollute them e.g. People are cutting trees for wood or to built their homes, liquid
wastes of factories and drainage wastes of cities and towns are dumped into the river
or sea. Solid waste is dumped on the land and the chemical waste in form of fumes is
released in the air.
All the above examples make the environment pollute at an alarming phase. Due to
this pollution a problem has aroused named GLOBAL WARMING. Making a disturbance
in the season cycle and giving a rise in the heat of our mother Earth.
We should save the nature by stopping the people from cutting trees, stopping people
to throw waste in water in air and dumping in land.
The air we take in is very much polluted. To lessen the air pollution we should grow
more trees. Trees help in absorbing the pollutants. To stop water from polluting it
should allow to flow rather than keeping it stagnant. To stop land from polluting
people should recycle the waste rather than dumping it in the land. And the people
should avoid using plastics.
The people should move on the slogan: “SAVE TREEES AND GROW MORE
TREES” “SAVE MOTHER EARTH”
Enviornment and why it
is important…

It is said that a neighbour is our first
relative. A good neighbour should be
civilized and well mannered. A neighbour
should help in sad and happy moments.
A neighbour should even take care of
our home while we are out of town or
nearby. The neighbour should not talk
behind the back nor should think bad
about us. They should be cooperative in
every manner.
The neighbour should not have any
addictions like smoking, drinking or gambling e.t.c their language should be well
spoken one.
Even though the neighbour is black in color its mind and heart should be clean as
white. I want a neighbour who is trustworthy; even if I have to put the whole house
open to them they are trustable that nothing would go wrong.
The neighbour I want should help me in any emergency e.g in the middle of the night
some health problem occurs i.e. in case of emergency the neighbour can take us to
hospital. A neighbour should be happy and should never be irritating in nature. All the
members should live like a family. Help each-other, learn from each other and teach
each-other.
In every festival, once in a life or in a year, we should all celebrated it together. No
matter if there is a distance between the cultures of the neighbour, but there should
not be any distance between hearts.

Good Environment is very much
important for life. Trees make
environment more pure and pollution
free. Before many years there were more
trees on the earth, which use to keep
the environment more pure. But since
last ten years the trees are been cut to
grow cement forest which has concrete
road and cement buildings. Now due
to deforestation the levels of pollution
have increased along with that the levels
of disease have also increased. We the human beings are not maintaining cleanliness
in earth which is leading to increase in level of pollution and impure the environment.
So to prevent and safe our environment we need to grow more and more trees.

“hiii’. Just then I looked behind and saw
a beautiful girl with a pink frock and
little white wings. She said I will come
tomorrow at your place and she vanished.
I looked all around but could not find her.
Next day morning when I opened my
eyes I found that I was all alone at the home my parents had gone out. After all my
regular home work I was sitting alone at the window when a chariot with a white
horse arrived in front of my doors, I wondered who could that be? Just then a girl
came out from the chariot and came near me. I just kept looking at her with no words.
She came near n told I am the fairy which came in your dreams yesterday night. First I
could not believe her but then she showed me her wings and her star stick.
I was very happy looking at her. Then she asked me my wish, ‘What do you want as a
gift from me’.
I thought for a while and then asked the fairy to play with me and wished to meet all
the fairies in the fairyland. She accepted my wish and called all the fairies from their
land. She introduced every fairy some of the name were Natkhat fairy, Kid fairy, Pyari
fairy and the head of the fairy land was the fairy Queen. She was the most loving and
caring fairy. Queen gave me a box of presents. All the fairies played with me, showed
me magic and had so much fun.
Now it was evening, it was time for them to go, so they all said me that whenever you
need us just call us once we will surely come. I said them goodbye and they all went
to their land. On arrival of my parents I narrated the whole happening and they were
happy hearing the incident.
The next morning it was my time to go to school. I got ready and packed my bag and
went to school with all the sweet talks of fairies that came yesterday at my place. I
wanted to tell that to all my friends.
On the way to school a girl came and started behaving badly with me, she pulled my
hair and laughed at me. I started crying and called the fairy to help me. In seconds
the queen fairy reached me and asked what happened I told the whole story! Told
that the girl disturbs me every day on my way to school. She smiled at me and told
“come let’s teach her a lesson.”I agreed and the fairy taught the girl a lesson. I was
then happy.
Suddenly I looked at my wrist watch I was getting late for school. I told the fairy that I
had to run for school. She smiled and said, ‘Wait I will drop you to the school and show
you the whole world’. Then I and queen flied from above the houses and green fields
and reached at the school on time. I waved fairy bye and went inside the classroom.
In the afternoon I reached home and oh wow!!!!!!! all the fairies were in my house. I
asked them how come they were here at this time. Then Natkhat fairy came near me
and said, “It is time for us to go back to the fairy land” I was sad on hearing this. But
they had to go so I smiled at them and told them “I would miss you”. Even the fairies
said they would miss me. Then the Natkhat fairy told me that now no more the bad
girls would disturb you on your way to school. And whenever you miss us the most we
will surely give you a happy and surprise visit.
They gift me a doll and waving me bye leave my home and vanish. I looked in the sky
and they vanished in the sky and turning into twinkle of the stars.
Environment and its
importance
Conversation with Fairy
Education is like a gift in our lives. Without
education we can’t precede in life, it
improves the life of the person. Because
of lack of education parents have suffered
a lot and have been laborers. Education
can change our life and also if we focus on
education then our parents will be happy for
us. I want to be educated because parents
usually have a dream that their children
become something their life and achieve
something. Through education we can fulfill
their dreams. As parents don’t want us to become like them and work like them in
small age. They are educating us. It happens sometimes that those who don’t have
money to spend on education, as it’s expensive in some schools in which their child
want to study. On the other side the people who have everything they do not know
the importance of the education. So education is really important for each one of
them. Through education we can achieve the things which are important in life. We
need not ask anybody for the same. “Where there is education, there is life”.
NamarataYadav,9th
Education and
Importance of Education
AartiWagh,9th
Education is very useful in one’s whole
life, in every manner. It is a base pillar
of one’s life. We get knowledge out of
education. If our education qualification
is good we get a good job or we can take
part in a good business. The children
whose parents are unable to make them
study get engaged in child labour. If we
will study we will grow and make our
parents proud.
Our parents work day and night because we can study in the best possible manner. They
wish that if they were not able to study they will make us study and live a comfortable
life. They would like to be recognized by their children’s name.
Today our parents work day and night, and get 50rs at the end of the day, but if we
study our parents would no more have to work and they can easily enjoy 50000 Rs.
Education is important for a good status. Looking around the world even we feel that
we also want a big house a good car, e.t.c then the next moment we think that if
we study, we will get more than what we would wish to have. Education is far more
precious than gold, silver and diamonds. If we have education we will have all the
three and more than that.
Even though we live in a slum area we will study, grow and do marking things in our
life. We just wish that our parent’s labour behind us should not get wasted. And I even
wish that I will study and then I will help those children whose parents are not capable
of educating their children.
Education and why is it
important???

Colorss Foundation Registered Office: E/68, Jyoti Park, B/h Navrachna School, New Sama Road, Vadodara, Gujarat M: 096049 41020 | www.colorss.org | contact@colorss.org | Branch Office: Pune Colorss’ who are we! Roko Mat Toko Mat…. Sochne do inheSochne do (Hindi)… (Don’t stop them, let them think) These lines hold so true for the kids…. We need to just let them think in the way they want to … without any boundaries and any restrictions. They are very creative and innovative in nature. We as adult could not even imagine or think of things that they would come up. So one of the Mantra to let the kids perform is give them openspace,letthemthink/imagine/askquestionsabout any topic they want to… don’t restrict their thought / as adult we should not try n put our thoughts into theirs. An example - What do you see in the below picture. We would say A Square, an oval and 4 circle… some would say brown square… Blue circle and so on… very true Show the same pictures to the kids and see what comes up. You would be surprised to see the inputs.. - A plate with 4 biscuits/eggs - A flag - An Elephant/ animal lying on the floor with all his feet Colors of Life13th June 2013 | edition: Baroda, Gujarat Anand, Founder Chairman, Colorss Foundation holds a Masters in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Bhavans College of Communication and Management. He also has done his Masters in Hospital and Health Management from Symbiosis Centre of Health Care. He is a Graduate in Industrial Psychology from MSU, Vadodara. He has extensively worked for social causes and has been part of many community oriented projects before he founded Colorss in 2008. He is also a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate which exhibits his commitment and discipline. He has successfully lead a team of deaf and mute win the karate tournament. Now, Anand solely manages the operations of Colorss and its projects and is a true source of inspiration to all the budding social entrepreneurs out there. In the words of its founder, Anand Koti ”If you want love or if you want to give back love”, then you are all set to join the social bandwagon! Sonu Shah Associate Director- Nielsen Baroda, Gujarat Origin: Lack of education and resources, dearth of infrastructure and facilities, poor or in fact no access in some cases, are issues that still remain and continue to haunt a traditional Indian setting. Every individual realizes this at some instance or the other but the concerned action is most often shelved and remains to be, due to various reasons. While this process continued, there were others who nourished the thought and gave it food. There came up social institutions, non-profit organizations, self- funded and self-run societies which realized the necessity and importance to empower the nation and do whatever they could. Colorss was born too! Colorss Foundation was the outcome of the socio-centric and humanitarian thought process of its founder Mr. Anand Koti. Anand’s passion and dedication to bring in a massive social change in the society, to drive this social change by imparting education using creative and innovative methods brought Colorss into existence in 2008. Since then many action driven and research oriented projects have come into existence here and have been instrumental in achieving the purpose of this mission. As Colorss continues to make great strides on the social front, let’s take a vow to contribute in whatsoever manner possible to reach out to people in our communities and societies to enhance, empower and energize them. Colorss is present in Baroda, Gujarat and in Pune, Maharashtra. Vision:WarrenBenniswasrightwhenhesaid“Visionanimates, inspiresandtransforms purpose into action”. Colorss was set up with a purpose – to empower and develop the underprivileged children in the society and to make them ideal and value-driven individuals. And since its inception, Colorss has been working towards its vision, thus contributing in whatsoever manner possible to strengthen the deprived communities and get them in closer proximity to what may seem alien or new to them. It has also been striving hard to inspire and transform individuals and volunteers to take action and serve the society and in turn give back to the communities where we belong. Mission: Colorss is currently working towards setting up an educative and resourceful environment for the socially deprived children, which will help them complete their basic education. Its founder, the supporting organizations, individuals and volunteers are working with dedication and devotion to make its vision a reality. On the road towards achieving its goals, Colorss would be more than happy to absorb like minded individuals on board their efforts to support them in whatsoever manner possible. In the words of its founder, Anand Koti ”If you want love or if you want to give back love”, then you are all set to join the social bandwagon! Reducing the number of school drop outs, brightening children’s lives with martial and creative arts, and teaching skills to poor women: some actions have a great potential of change. This is what Colorss Foundation believes in. This is what we do: use knowledge to transmit knowledge. Colorss Foundation has been operational since Sep 2008 having its presence in Baroda, Gujarat and Pune, Maharashtra. By developing programs to improve disadvantaged groups’ lives, Colorss Foundation is doing its part. The projects that we have in Baroda 1. Project ‘Colors of Life’ – 30 students [boys and girls –Baroda] Observing government schools in India, we can face a bad reality: 50% of students drop out of school before the 8th standard. This is very worrying when we think about the importance of education, a key for the development of individuals and of the society. And this is the point when creating a program like Colors of Life. How this can be done? The students are given topics for creative writing –they are either encouraged to write in Marathi, Gujarati or Hindi. These topics are thereafter translated into English and published as an E-zine. Colors of Life : The Colors of Life project combines the use of technology and art to encourage children to stay in school while learning useful vocational skills and improving their communication and interpersonal skills through the creation of Colors of Life, the bimonthly e-magazine. A trained psychologist assesses each participant on his physical and mental abilities at the beginning of the program. Currently, the   facing upwards :) Just test with kids around you! You would have infinite creative answers to it… Let them open up. This is the key to their creativity :)

At the beginning of the program, the teaching staff takes on a facilitating role to lead the teens to write or draw based on a given topic. The topics are chosen by a psychologist on purpose to encourage the participants to open their mind by exploring their inner-self and to get them to be in a more relaxing and comfortable mode. Their artwork will be featured in the Colors of Life E-zine, which will be a motivation for the participants as well as giving them a sense of pride and increase their self-confidence. Issues addressed: Focus is on school dropouts, to motivate the child for further education and vocational training. The program works with brain stimulation games, workshops on life- skills and different issues, drawing, musicanddance, creativearts, andPBL(projectbased learning) too. 2. Project ‘Urja’ – igniting the fire within – 15 women in vocational training [Baroda] Helping on the development of children is very important. However, we do not work just with children: Project Urja that attends to disadvantaged women is important as well. It intends to break the vicious cycleof poverty,in which thesewomendo not haveaccessto training and resourcesand, consequently, have little or no education. Then, they stay in poverty, and the same thing keeps happening. Only education can solve this problem. The children of their families are provided with needful education. Different workshops are conducted for these women and their families. Building up these women current skills and introducing new skills, we can empower them and impact positively their families. This is the basis of Project Urja: professionals, peers, community, awareness programs, and mentorships teach vocational skills to a group of women from the slums of Sanjay Nagar, New Sama Road, Baroda. 3. Please enjoy Colorss and we hope that we do fill some colours in your personal life as well. For Love, Founder Chariman Anand Koti Why the need for a “Colors of Life” concept? Healthy self-esteem is like a child’s defence against the challenges of today’s world. Children who know their strengths and weaknesses and feel good about themselves have an easier time handling conflicts and peer pressure. They will be able to tackle problems and adjust better to disappointments and be able to be optimistic and enjoy life to the maximum. These kind of children are realistic and a happy bunch. Kids with lowself-esteemfind lifein general tobeachallenge.Everything they do is a matter of major anxiety and frustration. They think poorly of themselves and have a hard time accepting compliments or appreciation because they feel they don’t deserve it. If a child thinks “I’m no good” or “I always end up doing the wrong thing” they may become pessimistic, passive or depressed. If they are given a chance, a new challenge, a new opportunity their immediate response will be “ No, I can’t.” or “No, I won’t be able to ”. Self-esteem is defined as to how much a person values himself or herself. This is not constant and can change from time to time even from day to day or from year to year. One ‘s overall self-esteem doesn’t develop during adulthood but develops right from infancy to adulthood. Self-esteem is a feeling of being happy with one’s self in all aspects and being loved for the same. A child who is happy with an achievement but does not feel loved may eventually experience low self-esteem. On the other hand, a child who feels immensely loved but is hesitant about his or her own abilities is also likely to develop low self-esteem. A good self- esteem is eventually a balance of both. Self-esteem starts very early in life. The concept of success following effort and persistence starts early. For a child to achieve a good self esteem they need to be appreciated and admired for the efforts they take or put in into the various aspects of their life. So, it is a good thing to think about developing and promoting self- esteem during childhood. Only when children experience failure will they succeed eventually. They begin to explore their strengths and weaknesses and realize their limitations. For this we definitely need “Colors of Life”, a concept where children are given their due importance and made to feel worthy about themselves. A platform where children can write down their thoughts, express their feelings, define their opinions and be able to articulate their voice through a medium called media. The results are for all to see. Their article comes out along with their picture, a lot more people see and hear them and their thoughts and feelings. They feel recognized, they feel they belong, they feel their contribution matters to society. Isn’t that what we always wanted? A feeling of belongingness, a feeling of being appreciated and a feeling of high self worth. Parents can promote good self-esteem by encouraging, motivating and supporting their children in the many areas their children are interested in. If parents fail to recognize their children’s aptitude and talent in one area and force them to excel in an area they are interested in. It will only spell disaster. This trend has to change. Parents should avoid focusing on one specific area; for example, academics, which can lead to kids feeling that they’re only as valuable as their test scores, even when they are immensely talented in other areas like sports or fine arts. Self-esteem fluctuates as kids grow. It’s frequently changes in accordance with a child’s experiences and perceptions. Life” concept will go a long way in promoting a very healthy self esteem and self concept among children by showcasing their talent of writing about the topics they are interested in and being recognized for it. Recognition of any sort makes a positive impact on adults and even more so on children. By recognizing a child’s talent and appreciating it, makes the child’s feel more confident in himself/herself and will motivate the child to do more work harder, strive for better. On the other hand kids with low self-esteem may be averse to try new things for fear of failure and may exhibit a low tolerance for frustration and may give up easily. They tend to be overly sensitive and overly critical of themselves and get disappointed in themselves very easily. Praise in the form of recognition as in “Colors of Life” for a job well done and the effort involved will encourage the child to work harder. Positive reinforcement in the form of their article being printed and their picture being included will definitely make them think better of themselves and their capabilities.

My experience at Nielsen was awesome, lovable and exciting. We had already visited the Nielsen office on 26th April 201. I was worried that I have to perform here in front of so many people working here, how I could face them! On the day of the event i.e. 10th May 2013 there was tension and I was stressed a lot. Even my friends were tense on how will our performance come- up. But when our turn came to perform the skit, I was conscious and I had to focus on my acting. Tried to forget the world I was just trying to make my best to perform. Well and also when my turn for dance came I was much confident. This time though it was a group dance, but by removing the stage-fear and with aggression the expression which I was supposed to give. I prepared myself for the performance. Colorss have supported me a lot and I have learnt many things like dancing, acting and many more. They gave a promising gift to us that I can’t forget in my life time. Chance to perform in front of such high profiled people and such a place was just a dream for me. I learnt to be in disciplined, improve my skills in dancing and acting, this was a great thing. It has now motivated me to learn more new things, perform on stage in a much better way if get a chance again. Increase in self confidence and increase in enthusiasm. I would never forget this experience. Thanks to Colorss for giving as such opportunity and make us a great individual from who we were before. A neighbour should be like family member. I wish that neighbour should be very good natured and kind. He/she should not be selfish who only talks for their selfish motive and then when one needs help he/she doesn’t help. I wish that a neighbor should be like a good friend who helps when one is in need, who peacefully maintains social relations. Neighbour should be such that he/she participates in one person’s good and bad times equally. Most importantly he/she should not have bad habits like smoking and drinking as it is not good for health. Neighbour should be such who never fights and cooperate with everyone. He/ she should not be orthodox. The psychological impact of opportunity on the children from disadvantaged community Children who grow up in disadvantaged families are in constant need of being accepted and appreciated in their own circles. They want their abilities and talents to be noticed. They are on the lookout for opportunities to showcase themandget that much needed appreciation. When these children are provided opportunities to display their talents four main emotions come to the fore. 1. It creates a sense of belonging in them that their economic or social status is not a hindrance in them being accepted in a normal society. 2. The motivation is at an all-time high as they believe that it’s their abilities that got them the opportunity. 3. Such children are usually honest and they want to justify the faith imposed on them. A sense of justice is what drives them. 4. Lastly,a competitive streak motivates thesechildren to show that they are no less compared to their privileged counterparts. The best example is when the children from Colorss came to Nielsen office to showcase their acting and dancing skills. Everyone in that group wanted to put their best foot forward and they did it with great confidence and poise. Seeing them, no one would have guessed that they practiced dance in the confines of a small and congested room. They still managed to learn and give their best and proved they are no less. In the end they were very happy at the applause and appreciation they received from everyone around! Another example of when the children from Colorss came to Nielsen to see what work is done in the office, it was evident that they all left with a positive frame of mind, hoping one day they will also work in such big offices. It’s their idea of evolving in their life and leading a normal life. They also realized the importance of studies and what it will do to their life. Saleem Khan Manager Operation, Nielsen Baroda, Gujarat There is no point in being excessively harsh on your children and their abilities and their limitations when it comes to nurturing your children’s self-esteem. Parents have to identify their children’s irrational beliefs about themselves, whether they’re about perfection, attractiveness, ability, or anything else. They have to help their children set realistic goals and appropriate standards and be more realistic in evaluating themselves which will help them have a healthy self-esteem. “Colors of Life” acknowledges a child’s thoughts, feelings and writings and encourages the child to become more confident of their abilities and capabilities and in turn become more confident and capable adults who make the right choice in the future. “Taking responsibility and pride in who you are is a sure sign of healthy self-esteem and the greatest gift parents can give to their child”. NivitaYadav,6th If I would be invisible There are some boys who usually tease other small boys in my locality. So If would have been invisible I would teach lesson to such elder boys who tease and harass the younger ones. I have also seen young boys steeling purses of the individuals, so if someone has stolen the purse then I will catch him and beat him up. Would return the purse to the person. If I would have been invisible I would love to help needy people. There is a cat that comes to my house everyday and tries to climb the tree near my house. If I would have been invisible I would have definitely help her to climb. Children from Colorss at Nielsen, Baroda On 26thof April 2013, The Nielsen’s turned hosts to little guests from slums in Sanjay Nagar, Vadodara. These 30-35 children aged between 5 and 15 years are part of the educational program of Colorss. It was the memorable experience for us and to kids as well. The kids were looking so excited and happy. They visits the floors interacted with employees and talking about themselves what they studying, what games they love. They also love to chat what we are doing in office. Talking about their aims. On 10thof May 2013, Nielsen once again invited the kids and this time to add to the excitement the parents had to accompany their children. It was the great fun to be with the kids and to be kids with them as well ☺. The kids too didn’t miss the chance to come up with dance performances, mime shows and small acts that showed their sheer ability and interest to learn new things and develop themselves on par with anyone else. Impact: Through this experience Psychological Impact on the Children must be positive and very high. They will be more encouraged to study sincerely and work hard. To find themselves in a good position in the future. Also will help them to improve their self- confidence; will develop the interest and skills in other activities too. Without Now days T.V, Radio, Mobile, Laptop, Internet, Computer, Facebook and Email are very useful in our daily life. We can learn from T.V many things; like learn a new style of dance by watching reality shows on T.V channels. Through Radio we can hear new songs and news. We get a lot of knowledge from Radio. We can tune any radio station and hear our favorite songs. Mobile is a very famous media through which many things can be done. Like we can use internet and download songs and also use for many other good things like F.M, through USB we can download some interesting game which help our problem solving ability. Also some people who want to learn dance can also; through mobile and internet can learn dance by downloading the videos in which they teach steps for dance. Through such media we get motivated and don’t loose our morale. We can also learn a lot of things from computer. We can also get education through this media like internet facility where from Google we can get a lot of thing like Information related to educational topics. As now a day social networking site like Facebook can help find new friends. The disadvantage of the Media like Mobile, computer etc is that we should not watch excessive T.V programs everyday as because of the rays coming from it can affect our eyes and we can become abnormal. We should not use internet more and also earphone as it can affect our body severely. So Media do influences us so much but sometime have to take care of their use also. NilamberYadav,8th Media and Its influence on us- Building the changing world - Xiuli Chen Shenmo is an educational organization on enrichment learning. Our after-school programs include Mental Math, Creative Arts and so on. As the director of Shenmo (USA), I am really impressed by what Colorss Foundation is doing for kids with special needs; especially I am touched by the improvement of these students from the project named ‘Colors of Life’. I always ask myself ‘How are they able to make it? They must have done the efforts which a lot of people are not able to do!!!’ But I have to say: Yes, they can! Every time when I read the wonderful E-magazine produced by these brave students from the project of Colors of Life, I wish more students could get involved in this useful project. It is not only a project which adds colors to these students’ lives but also a project that adds hope to their future and the communities. It does require a lot of efforts from different people. The sad fact is that we are only able to offer very limited support since we are an overseas organization. However, it will not weaken our determination to add more colors to more people’s lives because we share the same planet and are building the changing world. We do hope you could also join us and offer more support to Colorss Foundation no matter where you are and who you are….. We must understand this world will be different if we contribute more together! Xiuli Chen MEd. Director of Shenmo (USA) ArunMaheria,6th By getting educated everyone can move towards success. But those who don’t get educated do labor work in their life. There are many children who actually wanted to study but their parents don’t allow them. If we study we can become doctor, police officers, professors, engineer etc in future. In villages also there are many children specially girls who want to study in their life but due to parents restrictions they can’t. Getting educated is important. With the help of education we can learn many things in our life like respecting elders, being disciplined, maintain cleanliness of our body. If we are educated our learning can help us in our daily life also. Education and importance of education! PrakashBaria,9th Now days there are many more advanced changes in the media industry.e.g. T.V. , radio, computers, mobile phones, video games…..e.t.c….. Radio is that media which uses air as a medium to transmit its songs, news etc…. it is the oldest and the best companion when we are alone driving or sitting at home. Video games are that source of media where the children enjoy their vacations, but it is not good always as it does not allow children to play outside and play physically. The most common and popular media is computers and mobile, both of these are best convenient for people who work outside and has more work. But it is not good for children because it hampers the physical and mental growth. Both computer and mobile are connected to another type of media which is called INTERNET-can be considered good and bad both at the same time. It is good only when the limitations are till educational or some genuine work like songs dance-steps or e-commerce. But cannot be considered good if the person crosses the limitations i.e. uses internet for accessing unacceptable things by the society. Even the social networking sites are considered good and bad both. Television is also known as box of fun and fantasies and in English it is even called a idiot box like the radio it is the oldest medium of entertainment, but in radio we can just hear and in television we can visualize the scenes. We can watch movies, songs, dances, regular episodes, e.t.c e.g. we watch Dance India Dance - a reality show on TV and we learn new dance-steps! But again like the internet even this box has some disadvantages; like the violence shown in movies, inappropriate language and behavior in some regular telecasts, reality shows which creates a bad impression on the minds of the people and over and above that the children are so attracted to the cartoon serials and advertisements that they force their parents to buy such stuff. Children even waste time of their study due to watching of their cartoon programmes. Thus, we conclude that to use media in some limitations is not bad but using it beyond limits is considered bad. How does media influence us??? PrakashBaria,9th Environment means the natural surroundings like air, water, wind, land, trees fruits, flowers etc. environment is very important for our life. Water is important for drinking, bathing, cooking food etc. Wind gives us oxygen we breath….trees give us wood, fruits and flowers etc. And land gives us floor to live and grow food grains. It is our prime duty and responsibility to save and protect the environment. The environment now a day is getting polluted. The people waste the natural resources and pollute them e.g. People are cutting trees for wood or to built their homes, liquid wastes of factories and drainage wastes of cities and towns are dumped into the river or sea. Solid waste is dumped on the land and the chemical waste in form of fumes is released in the air. All the above examples make the environment pollute at an alarming phase. Due to this pollution a problem has aroused named GLOBAL WARMING. Making a disturbance in the season cycle and giving a rise in the heat of our mother Earth. We should save the nature by stopping the people from cutting trees, stopping people to throw waste in water in air and dumping in land. The air we take in is very much polluted. To lessen the air pollution we should grow more trees. Trees help in absorbing the pollutants. To stop water from polluting it should allow to flow rather than keeping it stagnant. To stop land from polluting people should recycle the waste rather than dumping it in the land. And the people should avoid using plastics. The people should move on the slogan: “SAVE TREEES AND GROW MORE TREES” “SAVE MOTHER EARTH” Enviornment and why it is important…

Trees make environment more pure and pollution free. Before many years there were more trees on the earth, which use to keep the environment more pure. But since last ten years the trees are been cut to grow cement forest which has concrete road and cement buildings. Now due to deforestation the levels of pollution have increased along with that the levels of disease have also increased. We the human beings are not maintaining cleanliness in earth which is leading to increase in level of pollution and impure the environment. So to prevent and safe our environment we need to grow more and more trees. Once under the twinkling stars I was enjoying a fairytale and wondering how fairies would look like. Looking at the twinkle of the stars I fell asleep. Just then a voice came in to my ears whispering “hiii’. Just then I looked behind and saw a beautiful girl with a pink frock and little white wings. She said I will come tomorrow at your place and she vanished. I looked all around but could not find her. Next day morning when I opened my eyes I found that I was all alone at the home my parents had gone out. After all my regular home work I was sitting alone at the window when a chariot with a white horse arrived in front of my doors, I wondered who could that be? Just then a girl came out from the chariot and came near me. I just kept looking at her with no words. She came near n told I am the fairy which came in your dreams yesterday night. First I could not believe her but then she showed me her wings and her star stick. I was very happy looking at her. Then she asked me my wish, ‘What do you want as a gift from me’. I thought for a while and then asked the fairy to play with me and wished to meet all the fairies in the fairyland. She accepted my wish and called all the fairies from their land. She introduced every fairy some of the name were Natkhat fairy, Kid fairy, Pyari fairy and the head of the fairy land was the fairy Queen. She was the most loving and caring fairy. Queen gave me a box of presents. All the fairies played with me, showed me magic and had so much fun. Now it was evening, it was time for them to go, so they all said me that whenever you need us just call us once we will surely come. I said them goodbye and they all went to their land. On arrival of my parents I narrated the whole happening and they were happy hearing the incident. The next morning it was my time to go to school. I got ready and packed my bag and went to school with all the sweet talks of fairies that came yesterday at my place. I wanted to tell that to all my friends. On the way to school a girl came and started behaving badly with me, she pulled my hair and laughed at me. I started crying and called the fairy to help me. In seconds the queen fairy reached me and asked what happened I told the whole story! Told that the girl disturbs me every day on my way to school. She smiled at me and told “come let’s teach her a lesson.”I agreed and the fairy taught the girl a lesson. I was then happy. Suddenly I looked at my wrist watch I was getting late for school. I told the fairy that I had to run for school. She smiled and said, ‘Wait I will drop you to the school and show you the whole world’. Then I and queen flied from above the houses and green fields and reached at the school on time. I waved fairy bye and went inside the classroom. In the afternoon I reached home and oh wow!!!!!!! all the fairies were in my house. I asked them how come they were here at this time. Then Natkhat fairy came near me and said, “It is time for us to go back to the fairy land” I was sad on hearing this. But they had to go so I smiled at them and told them “I would miss you”. Even the fairies said they would miss me. Then the Natkhat fairy told me that now no more the bad girls would disturb you on your way to school. And whenever you miss us the most we will surely give you a happy and surprise visit. They gift me a doll and waving me bye leave my home and vanish. I looked in the sky and they vanished in the sky and turning into twinkle of the stars. Environment and its importance Conversation with Fairy Education is like a gift in our lives. Without education we can’t precede in life, it improves the life of the person. Because of lack of education parents have suffered a lot and have been laborers. Education can change our life and also if we focus on education then our parents will be happy for us. I want to be educated because parents usually have a dream that their children become something their life and achieve something. Through education we can fulfill their dreams. As parents don’t want us to become like them and work like them in small age. They are educating us. It happens sometimes that those who don’t have money to spend on education, as it’s expensive in some schools in which their child want to study. On the other side the people who have everything they do not know the importance of the education. So education is really important for each one of them. Through education we can achieve the things which are important in life. We need not ask anybody for the same. “Where there is education, there is life”. NamarataYadav,9th Education and Importance of Education AartiWagh,9th Education is very useful in one’s whole life, in every manner. It is a base pillar of one’s life. We get knowledge out of education. If our education qualification is good we get a good job or we can take part in a good business. The children whose parents are unable to make them study get engaged in child labour. If we will study we will grow and make our parents proud. Our parents work day and night because we can study in the best possible manner. They wish that if they were not able to study they will make us study and live a comfortable life. They would like to be recognized by their children’s name. Today our parents work day and night, and get 50rs at the end of the day, but if we study our parents would no more have to work and they can easily enjoy 50000 Rs. Education is important for a good status. Looking around the world even we feel that we also want a big house a good car, e.t.c then the next moment we think that if we study, we will get more than what we would wish to have. Education is far more precious than gold, silver and diamonds. If we have education we will have all the three and more than that. Even though we live in a slum area we will study, grow and do marking things in our life. We just wish that our parent’s labour behind us should not get wasted. And I even wish that I will study and then I will help those children whose parents are not capable of educating their children. Education and why is it important???
