2. What you will need (1) Some old Christmas cards White or cream blank cards (and envelopes) Christmas stickers (mini) Coloured card (scraps will do)

3. What you will need (2) Scissors Green, gold or silver pens Glue Glitter (optional)

4. Step 1Making mini cardsThis is something your children could help with to make it a family affair

5. You could just cut out the part of an old card near the fold You can leave it like it isor add anextra sticker/glitter etc

6. You can make them from scratch using your coloured card score cut Cut and score a strip Cut into smaller bits Fold and decorate

7. Alternatively, your kids could just create some free-hand

8. Step 2Making the garland

9. Using a gel pen, draw a wavy line across the top of your folded card This looks most festive in gold, silver or green

10. Stick some of your mini-cards along the line with glue Use a mixture of colours and sizes

11. Decorate the ends and gaps in the garland with holly leaves or stars This just makes it look more festive

12. Adding the finishing touches Happy Christmas!

13. Add some Christmas greetings along the bottom of the card using the gel pen Merry Christmas to Jenny, Michael, Joseph and Peter You can personalise this or just put something general

14. Add glitter, sparkles or stickers as you wish Merry Christmas to Jenny, Michael, Joseph and Peter
