3. Current Situation
▪ Only 25.6% of Ohioans who are 25 years old and higher
have an Associates Degree or higher compared to the
national average of 29.3%.
▪ The Problem: Our schools are not properly preparing our
underrepresented and economically disadvantaged
students to graduate from high school and college let alone
be prepared for the workforce.

Teens constantly use the internet for learning outside of school,
especially mobile phones; however mainly teachers in higher
socioeconomic communities leverage phones in school for learning
(Pew Survey).
The top insights that stands out both globally and in our community
is Content, Connection, Culturalism, and Creativity.

Solution Provider:
Our u-readiness approach that will be infused throughout all of our content and curriculum
prepares the student for the 22nd century.
Will create the atmosphere where the student not only thrives but develop an inventor
mindset that will prepare them for whatever path they choose to take.
Multi-Culturalism will be celebrated and infused to bridge the gap to exposed students and
welcome them to the global economy in which they live. Connection is a freedom that give
students access and with access student can not only be a consumer of the access but a
creator of the content in which they access.
Creativity is a missing component in today's school settings, test preparation has become
the focus.TAHS mantra will bring back the creative side of learning so students can explore
and tap into all the endless possibilities that awaits them.
